Chapter 26- Back to Vormir

(3rd person POV)

"Thank you so much Mr. Pym." Natasha shook his hand and he handed over the black leather brief case.

"You have to promise me one thing," Hank began, "don't let Bruce figure out the formula. It's my creation and I'd like to keep it that way."

"Thank you so much." She spoke once again.
"You really saved the universe, without these the universe would still be a dark place." He nodded. Natasha waved goodbye and hurried out to her car.

She pulled out her phone and quickly dialed Bruce's number.

"Hey, I need you to meet me at the portal in about an hour. I've got more particles."
"Got it." She hung up and speedily drove off.

"Okay Nat, got everything?" Bruce added before starting up the machine.

"Suit and particles, yep." She gave him a thumbs up and listened to the sound of the engine start.

"5.." Bruce began to count down.
"4.." She initiated her helmet to go on.
"3...2...1"

Natasha speed off into a tunnel of time. She double checked the location coordinates and chose the correct tunnel.

                              Vormir 2014

Natasha landed back exactly where Steve and Gamora last were. She tapped the side of her helmet to make it go down and looked Steve and Gamora.

"You're back!" Gamora said happily. Natasha smiled back and threw her the suit.

"Put this on but do not touch anything, we don't want you stuck in a quantum realm." She ordered.

Natasha gestured for Steve to come over to her.
The both turned away from Gamora to look at each other again. They smiled in relief before embracing.

Steve pulled her in more and Natasha buried her head into his chest.
"How long were you gone?" He asked as he comforted her.

"Eh, about 2 days. I saw Clint and his family with Sam. The new base looks pretty good now, small but nice. Oh and Bucky was playing UNO with the Spider-boy." She laughed at the last statement.

"Buck, playing UNO? I'm shocked." Steve added chucking.

"I'm more surprised he's playing with Peter, he doesn't seem to like him too much."

"No, Buck and Sam got into a little incident with him at the airport back a few years ago." He laughed a little.

"I also saw Nick, he told me about... Tony." She looked down at the purple dirt ground.
Steve sighed, "I wish it didn't have to end like that... But it was the only way." She nodded but inside she questioned, 'what of there was a way for everyone to live...'

However, she quickly dismissed the thought as Gamora spoke up.

"Okay, I'm good to go."

Steve gave her the rules about how to properly navigate through the time portal and what to do if the suit happens to go on fire and what-not.

"Okay, we have to go to May 5th, 2023. The Avengers tower. You can also just follow us. Got it?" She nodded. Natasha put in the same coordinates as before and they initiated the launch sequence.
