A/N: Mischa quite often forgets to check his phone. He doesn't have much reason to. Mischa's pov. His name is pronounced Mesha but spelled differently. :)

I was at home working on civics online and listening to music. I had completely forgotten about the conversation I had with Brendon before I left. I handed in what I was working on and went to change the song on my phone. I noticed that there were twelve messages from Brendon, a notification on Twitter saying the school and students in it were snowed in and they're working on getting them out. I clicked on the messages.

Brendon: Did you hear the announcement?
-Where are you?
-Oh wait, you went home, I forgot, sorry. Is the snow affecting you?
-Are you okay?
-Mischa?
-I'm worried. Please answer me
-Seb is worried too
-This is hell. Be glad you went home lol but seriously, are you okay?
-Jesus Mischa, please answer.
-I know you don't check your phone much but please don't ignore me, I'm worried
-The snow is really high and still falling. Are you stuck somewhere?
-Please, Mischa, are you okay?

Me: Sorry, I'm at home and I'm okay
Brendon: Thank god. You had me worried.
Me: Sorry.
Brendon: It's okay. Are you safe?
Me: Yep
Brendon: Really?
Me: I'm at home with a cup of tea and a blanket. Better?
Brendon: Not really. Last time you said that you were laying in the woods half-unconscious
Me: I'm fine, I'm really at home.
Brendon: I'm glad you're okay.
Me: I have to go.
Brendon: See you tomorrow, if it's not a snow day and do me a favour?
Me: What is it?
Brendon: Keep your phone close and answer me when I message you okay?
Me: I'll try.
Brendon: No, you're going to.
Me: Okay
Brendon: Good.

I put my phone on my leg and looked out over my back yard. I was sitting on the porch swing in snow pants and a sweater that I think might've been Brendon's once upon a time. I could really use some tea. And a blanket. I got up and went inside. I took off my boots and snow pants and hung the pants up. I shivered and went to the kettle. I put my laptop on the counter and my phone on top of my laptop, screen up. With shaky hands, I filled the kettle up enough for two cups, turned it on, put some raspberry loose leaf tea into a bag and went to get a blanket from downstairs. There was one on the vent and I wrapped it around me and went back to the kitchen.

When the water was done boiling, I poured the water in my mug, put the tea bag in and went to go sit on the couch.
