Brendon's POV again. It's been two weeks since the night at Mischa's and Mischa has slowly been coming back to Brendon. Very slowly though. Brendon has also started to notice that Mischa is getting a faint Scottish accent from living with his dad.

I woke up and dragged my ass out of bed. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and puttered around a little. My ears perked up at the sound of the Big Bang Theory theme song coming from my bedroom. I ran to answer the phone.

"Morning Mischa!" I said happily.
"Uh, m-morning. So you know how it's the school's Scottish festival today?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"Would you meet me at the parking lot doors before class?" He asked.
"Yeah! May I ask what for?" I asked.
"You'll see!" He said with a little giggle. I smiled to myself.
"Okay, go have breakfast." I said.
"Okay! Wear plaid!" He said then hung up. I got ready for school, avoided my family, and left. I waited at the doors for Mischa and students in all types of plaid walked past me. I caught a glimpse of Mischa and he waved. We went into the school and headed to our first class. He made a left turn where we'd usually take a right.
"Where are you going?" I asked him.
"Locker!" He replied and I jogged to catch up to him. Once I did, he grabbed and opened a lock. I looked at him while he put a case into his locker. He was wearing a blue long sleeve button down and red and blue plaid pants. The pants came up to his waist, were tight between his waist and his ass and they were a bit looser down his legs and they had cuffs at his ankles. He had the fancy shoes that pipe bands wear and he pushed his coat into his locker and closed it.
"What did you put in your locker?" I asked.
"You'll see." He replied with a little smile. We went to class and just scooted in before the bell. Oh Canada played, the land acknowledgment went and class continued on. A new person walked in halfway through class and he was introduced at the TA. He's in grade 12 and his name is Finlay Fraser and he was wearing something similar to Mischa's outfit but different tartan. About halfway through class when the teacher turned us loose to do our work, the TA came over.

"MacTavish, where's your kilt?" He asked playfully.
"Could ask you the same thing." Mischa replied, not missing a beat. HE'S COMING BACK! FUCK YES!
"I asked you first." Finlay replied.
"It's too cold. I'm not wearing a kilt to school today." Mischa asked.
"That's fair. And did you know that there are Scottish veterans and immigrants coming today?" Finlay asked, sitting on the other side of Mischa.
"Really?" Mischa asked.
"Really!" Finlay replied and they chatted all period. Math was boring as usual and Mischa was itching to get out. When the bell finally rang, Mischa grabbed my wrist and dragged me through the hall and back to his locker. He got the case out and dragged me to the big gym. Our school has two. One is a lot smaller. The big gym has our stage and thats where assemblies are. He pulled me in the door and I was happy to see him this excited about something. There were a few other people with simular cases and he set his on a bench.

"Wait. You didn't have plans for lunch did you?" He asked turning to me.
"Nope." I said and he smiled.
"Good. I know that you probably don't know this but I kinda really wanted to play in front of you for a while." He said opening the case to reveal a set of bagpipes.
"Really? That's awesome!" I replied and others started to practice in the gym.
"Look at what we have here boys! MacTavish and Fraser! Are you two going to do something together?" An older gentleman called. Mischa looked around me and gave a little wave to someone.
"I mean, we literally met today but I'm sure we could." Finlay's voice came from behind me. They got set up and they picked a sheet of music to play. It looked really hard. The two stood with about six inches between their shoulders.
"By left. Quick. March." Mischa called and some drummers did something and they started marching. The two pipes started playing and it sounded really good. Then the song changed and I found that it felt fun and playful. The drums had stopped and the gym went quiet as they played. I also noticed that our old friends came in. The gym was silent, except for them and the pipes. They finished and the older people on the bleachers clapped.
"Amazing job boys!" They called and Mischa's face heated up. He rushed back to me and I clapped too.

"That was really good!" I said and he shook his head and kept looking through the book. A little while later, an announcer called on him.
"Now representing the MacTavish clan, piper Mischa MacTavish!" He said and Mischa went to go stand in the middle of the gym and I pulled my phone out to record it. Someone started playing a soundtrack of drums and I recognized the song. He started playing and the song became very obvious. Wake Me Up, Avicii. Some people started singing when they too realized the song. He kept a beat with his foot as he played and the crowd seemed to be mesmerized by him. I enjoyed that he was doing something that he loves but what I didn't like was Finlay. Finlay is nice and all but he's watching Mischa like he would disappear any second and that's what I don't like. I don't care if they become friends or whatever but Finlay is making googly eyes at Mischa and I really don't like it.
