Taehyung was sitting on the couch, sipping his hot chocolate in silence and subtly eyeing jungkook who was sitting on the couch near him.

Jungkook had prepared hot chocolate for the shivering taehyung who had finally stopped crying and was sipping the hot chocolate.

There were still no words spoken between the two but taehyung was aching to talk to jungkook and get his answer.

"Jungk—" he was cut off by jungkook

"Are you okay now?" Jungkook asked in a monotone and taehyung pouted before nodding his head

"Yeah" he said in a small voice.

"Good. Now say what you wanna say" jungkook said, shifting himself beside taehyung making him blush

"I-it's that I was scared to fall in love with you and then lose you like I lost my ex boyfriend, I pushed you off so I wouldn't fall in love with you but it was all in vain, I fell for you, really hard" taehyung sighed

"Do you trust me?" Jungkook asked, keeping the mug in taehyung's hand on the table and taking his hands in his.

"I-i do" taehyung's eyes welled up with tears.

"Do you love me?"

"I do! Very much!" Taehyung cried

Jungkook wiped his tears away

"Then what is there to be scared of? That you'd lose me?" Jungkook asked, caressing the other's tear stained cheek

"I don't wanna lose you, kookie" taehyung started to sob.

"I'm scared. Everyone I love leaves me, mom, dad, minho and I don't want to lose you" taehyung started to shake again and jungkook immediately pulled him in a hug, blinking his eyes fast so his own tears don't fall.

"It's okay Tae, you have seokjin right? He hasn't left you. Those were just unfortunate times in which your loved ones had to leave but won't they be sad if you'll keep sulking like this and ruin your life, right? And you wouldn't want that right? They would want you to be strong and try to push past through your fears and start a new life, hmm?" Jungkook consoled him and taehyung nodded his head

After taehyung's cries turned into sniffles, jungkook made circles over taehyung's waist, his head in the crook of taehyung's neck, sniffing his calm scent and feeling happy that he could hold taehyung like this.

After a good needed moment, the two broke the hug even if taehyung wasn't happy about letting the other go.

"I wanna make you mine, Tae. Is this coming off in a cheesy way?" Jungkook chuckled and taehyung smiled, wiping his tears away and shook his head

"No, never and I'm glad that even after how much I've hurt you, you still want me to be yours when I've given you nothing but pain" taehyung said with clear sadness in his eyes

"Hey, you had your own reasons to behave like this with me but I'm glad that you atleast told me so I know that you trust me enough to tell me anything now. And it's not like you've only given me pain, we've also shared so many beautiful memories" jungkook smiled at the teary eyed taehyung

"Aish, you're gonna cry again? Stop, baby" and when jungkook said, it was enough for taehyung to burst into a cry

Jungkook chuckled before pulling taehyung in his lap while the other cried.

"Finally I'm seeing the real Tae, who is so sensitive, so emotional and so lovable" jungkook smiled, pushing taehyung's hair behind his ear and wiping his tears away

"I-i love you so much, so much" taehyung cried out and jungkook chuckled, feeling himself get overwhelmed by the other's words

"I love you too, now stop crying, baby" jungkook consoled taehyung who tried so hard to control his tears

"I-it's just that I have kept it in f-for so long that i can't help but c-cry" taehyung sobbed

"Aww. It's okay baby, finally you're in my arms and that's what matters" jungkook said, pecking the other's forehead then locking eyes together.

They stared at each other with eyes full of love and fondness which made their hearts thump wildly

Taehyung leaned towards jungkook, closing his eyes in the process, clutching the other's t-shirt before softly pressing their lips together.

Kiss full of emotions, love and understanding.

A chaste kiss with no tongues and teeth clashing, just soft lips moving against each other

And it made taehyung feel so happy, so light-hearted that he couldn't help but smile in it.

They parted and looked at each other, smiling.

"So Kim Taehyung, would you be my beloved boyfriend?" Jungkook asked and taehyung chuckled before sniffling his tears back.

"Yes, jeon jungkook. I would love to be your beloved boyfriend" taehyung said and jungkook had pulled taehyung into a kiss once again.

Taehyung feels that he took the right decision by moving on from minho because that is what everyone wanted.

Him, jungkook, seokjin, minho. Maybe it was for the best.

Jungkook doesn't feel sad that taehyung is still trying to move on from minho but he's trying to give him the love he wanted from him and he respects every decision taehyung took because he knew through what taehyung was going

But now, as taehyung is his, he doesn't want to think about the pains and heartbreaks but focus on what he has now.
