A couple days later, Hev paced as she waited for Terrence to Skype her. He had gotten extremely busy with meetings about upcoming films so the two were stuck with short calls or only texts. She desperately needed to tell him about the move to California for the summer. All of her plans were ruined completely and she didn't want him to get upset, resulting in him falling back into his old ways. Her door opened and Lani stood with a bag of fruit snacks in her hand. "Why are you walking?" She asked, tilting her head to the side. "Pacing. I'm waiting on daddy to Skype me," Hev answered, still pushing to get Lani to call Terry 'daddy'.

Lani climbed onto Hev's bed, watching the girl make herself mad until she heard a message come through. Scrambling to the computer, she read the message that told her to give him a couple minutes to change. "Okay okay. Should I just tell him flat out? No we should talk about other stuff first. Ummm... this is not good," Lani raised her eyebrow at her, wondering why she was tripping so hard. As soon as the video call came up, Hev answered it, proving to be as impatient as she was nervous. "Hey daddy!" The eager beaver blurted out. "Hey Heavenly. What's up? How's your day going?" He asked. Seeing Lani stand up behind Hev and jumping on her bed, he let out a chuckle.

"It's good. Shoved Shay in the girl's gym locker but no biggie. Ummm how has your day been?" She questioned, still trying to figure out the best way to break this information down to him. He let out a huge sigh of relief. "Pretty damn good. I got a few films lined up this year. I know that you wanted to spend all summer with me but I don't know how much time I'll have to fly between here and California. But we always come up with a plan don't we?" He said, smiling at Lani who was now trying to get her face in the camera."Hi Princessa. How are you?" He asked her while Hev rejoiced silently. Yeah, she didn't know exactly where he was filming but he'd be close which was all that mattered.

"Hi Terry. Mommy let me have fruit snacks," the little one showed, raising the bag for him to see. Ever since she started to talk to him more and more, it seemed that her vocabulary was getting better. Taraji chalked it up to her just getting older, but let any of her 3 youngest tell it, Terry was always the one on top of the kids dialect. "Aren't you lucky? I wasn't allowed to have candy in the middle of the day or before dinner," he told her, wondering why Hev hadn't said anything about his summer trip to Cali. "I'm the princess. And princess.. can have what they want," Lani said, justifying why she was eating candy. "That's called being spoiled Lani. Anyways that's actually good news dad," Hev interrupted.

"Why do you say that? You know something I don't know?" He asked, making funny faces at Lani and listening to her laugh. "I always know something you don't know. I'm Heavenly. Duh. But yeah so mom has to go back to Cali this summer to film too. I was thinking that maybe we can have a get lost on Rodeo Drive type of trip. What do you think?" She threw out, trying to get Lani's hair out of her face. "I think you're trying to bleed me dry. What part of Cali?" He heard the basement door shut, letting him know that Mira was downstairs creating something he didn't want to be forced to taste. "I don't know yet but when she tells us, I'll tell you. We can still have a fun this summer though right?" Hev asked, rolling her eyes as she saw Mira's figure appear.

"Terry who is that?" Lani asked, being very nosey. "Nobody," Hev rushed out to say before he could answer. Terry gave Hev a soft glare, but he had to admit that Mira was working his nerves by coming to bother him as he was talking to his daughters. "Babe try this. I think I finally perfected this recipe," she said, disregarding his conversation. "Can it be later?" "Yeah later. He's talking to more important people!" Hev snapped, getting a hard glare from Terrence. "Later babe. Please," he said, kissing her hand as he turned her around. He waited until she walked away before saying anything else. The sound of Hev trying to spit a piece of hair out her mouth caught his attention.

He couldn't help but laugh, remembering how Hev's hair was so long and big when she was younger. He always ended up with her hair in his mouth or a piece irritating his eyes, especially when she randomly decided to lay her head directly in his face. "Okay you gotta get out of my lap. Go tell mom to braid this mess or something," Hev complained, trying to push Lani off her lap. "Noooooo! I wanna talk to Terry," Lani borderline screamed, prompting Hev to slap her hand over her mouth. "What did we say? Mom can't know we talk to daddy. Why are you trying to get me in trouble?" Hev spat. Lani sat pouting at the screen, no longer in a happy mood.
