I'm clumsy, but at least I've got great timing

I was too focused on the empty can of soda besides me and my soda soaked sweater to notice the boy with the light brown hair walking towards me, so, naturally, I flinched when he started talking, causing me to drop my sandwich.
"Umm...I wanted to ask if this seat is taken, but I guess asking if you need tissues would be a better question."
"Yeah, tissues would be great," I muttered without looking up to Renjun.
I heard him running away and stood up to throw away the soda can and my ruined sandwich. Renjun came back panting with tissues in one hand and a box in the other.
"Thanks," I said and furiously started wiping my sweater. I did the best I could to save it, but after two minutes I used up all the tissues and the soda had left an ugly red stain on it. With a sigh I threw away the tissues too.
"I thought you would be hungry because you dropped your food because of me," Renjun said and gave me the box; a blue lunch box with a character on it, that looked like it was from a children's animation.
"Oh, thank you so much, but aren't you hungry too?"
"It's okay, I'm not hungry!"
So I started eating.
"Where are Mark and Chenle?", I asked after awhile.
"Oh, Chenle's class is on a trip and Mark is busy studying with some friends."
"Who is this?" I pointed at the cartoon character on his lunch box.
He looked at me in shock. "You don't know Moomin?!"
"I wouldn't be asking if I knew him."
"He's the main character in the Moomin books and he lives in the Moominhouse- I'm sorry, I'm getting too serious. "
"No, no, keep talking!"
I spent the rest of lunch break learning about Moomin - it was cute how excited he got, so I was a little disappointed when the ball rang and we had to go to class. "We should hang out more," I said as we were walking towards our classroom. "We're classmates, but this is only the second time we've had a conversation."
"Well, you've only been here for  two weeks, barely, and Mark and Chenle will get sad if I spend every lunch break with you."
"We could meet at my place this weekend."
"That would be great." I couldn't help but laugh when I saw his bright smile.
The mood changed drastically when our teacher, Mr. Riordan, gave us a rather unfriendly look and walked into the classroom before us.
History class was boring and unpleasant as usual, but when Mr. Riordan turned around to write something on the blackboard a folded piece of paper landed on my table. I didn't take my eyes off Mr. Riordan while I opened the note.
"'Texst' me the date and time :) ~ Renjun" followed by a phone number. I decided to ignore that he misspelled 'Text' and slipped the note into my pocket.
Suddenly, class didn't seem as bad as before.
