Melanie ordered her cameraman to join her in the newsroom the next day. She was hunched over the main computer using chatroom software when the cameraman arrived.
"Are you sure you should be doing this?" he asked, seeing that she was deep into a chat with someone whose screen name suggested a strong connection to Dr. Meadows.
"We are so close to uncovering everything in this story. All I need is Dr. Nylon's information and some sort of confession from Dr. Meadows himself."
"Melanie, he has a restraining order against you. This definitely violates it even if he doesn't know it's you. And listen to yourself. What info? What are you uncovering?"
"There is something seriously messed up at this school," Melanie snapped. "Dr. Meadows' nephew was the sole survivor of a massacre, Dr. Nylon magically became beautiful, and Dr. Meadows is covering all of it up."
"It's just the aliens at the school Melanie. Just let it be."
"You sound like everyone else. Oh, and who do you think you are talking to me like-"
Melanie typed furiously then pressed the video chat button. It rang a few times, then Meadows picked up the other end. He started to say something about the restraining order when his face twisted in a strange way, then he turned the video chat off. Melanie and the cameraman stared at each other in awe.
"I guess Dr. Meadows is hiding something," he whimpered.
