People Life Lesson 11

At different times in our lives, many different people come and go. Some are only there for a season, some God places them there for a lifetime. The problem is, we grieve the ones that are there for a season. And don't appreciate the ones that are there for a lifetime. We get used to those people and have a tendency to believe they will always be there.

But when we are saved, we aren't suppose to let it bring us down. Maybe you have outgrown each other. Or maybe the Lord let you see this person's real personality. It wasn't what He thought you needed in future events. Yes, it hurts. It could be a spouse, a best friend or etc. But it all boils down to there is a season for all things!

Ecc 3:1 "to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven".  The next several verses gives us examples of time.

When Jesus sent out the disciples, He gave them instructions for their journey. Matt 10:5-37 is the instructions. But in verse 14, He states "and whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." In other words, let God have them and go your own way. For in verse 15, it tells what they are facing! We put too much faith in mankind. We aren't supposed to do that!

We are told in Numbers 23:19, "God is not man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good?"

So, we are to fully rely on God and not worry so much about mankind. We love them, we pray for them. Even if we consider them our enemy. We aren't supposed to ignore them.  Prov. 28:27, " He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack;  but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse." But can do our job as a christian from a distance. Pro. 25:21-22 says "if thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: for thou shalt reap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee!"  But we need to keep in mind those ones that cause trouble. Do not give them ammunition against you!

Romans 16:17-18 "Now I beseech you brethren mark them which causes division and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned: and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple."

Pray for them, mark them, go on your way. You done your job!
