         AFTER Gab's filing of  leave, she finished all the task before she endorsed her last patient to her co-nurse staff. She needs space. She needed to give herself a rest. Kailangan niya munang i-refresh ang sarili sa mga nangyari. Dahil kung hindi ay baka makakapatay siya ng 'di oras. She can't stand looking at the two making out in front of her. It'll kill her.

"'Di ba 'yan 'yung girlfriend ni Doc John?"

"Oo. Kawawa naman. Inahas ng kasama niya..."

"Tingnan mo, oh ang haggard niya. Sa kakaiyak siguro."

"Ngayon lang ba niya nalaman na niloloko siya?"

Those were the talks she used to hear whenever she passes by some of her colleagues in other departments. Kumalat na kasi ang balitang nahuli niya ang kababuyan ng dalawa.

Naiinis siya. Why is it a big deal to look aweful literally? She knew it's because she's burnt out all day in the hospital. But she can't deny the truth. She's broken now, parang babasagin na bagay na tinabig at nawasak.

Ang kataksilan na ginawa ng kanyang kasintahan ay matagal na pa lang alam ng lahat. She was one hundred percent sure her boyfriend wouldn't cheat on her. But that was before she saw her friend had done a horrible blow job act to her ex. She was so confident Doctor John will not cheat while the rest of the hospital staffs knew about it. Napaka tanga niya sa part na iyon.
The dumbest part of that was he blamed it all to her.

"Putcha, Gab. Lalake ako. May pangangailangan din ako. At iyon ang hindi mo maibigay saakin!"

John's voice was like a jammed music playing over and over her head after she witnessed it.

"HOY GABRIELLA!" Dinig niyang sigaw nito at pauli-ulit na paglabas-masok sa kanyang kwarto. "Hindi ka ba pa babangon? Tanghali na!"

Naalipungatan siya nang magtama ang sikat ng araw sa kanyang mukha. Hinawi lang naman ng kanyang magaling na kapatid ang kurtina ng kanyang kuwarto habang walang humpay na nagdadadakdak.

"Ano ba, Kuya?!" anas niya rito.

"'Yan lang ba gagawin mo magdamag? What kind of nurse do you think you are?" he beamed.

She decided to sit on her bedside, hair was all over her face. "Ayoko nga! Matutulog na nga lang ako buong araw."

"Hoy Gabriella, hindi porke binigyan kita ng Condominium unit 'e  ibig sabihin hindi kana kakayod," he shouted. "O baka  naman dahil sa Doctor na 'yon?" He's referring to her ex-boyfriend, John.

"Hindi, ah! Kuya, nag-leave ako, okay?"

Her brother suddenly sat beside her. "Then why you have to file a leave? On the day you two broke up?" He smirked.

     "Argh!" She pulled some of her hair in frustration. Okay, fine. She filed a leave because of that incident. She can't stand seeing him and his blow job actress in the workplace.

Tumawa ito.

"Ayusin mo ang sarili mo saka—"  He stood up and found a clothe on the floor and threw it at her. "—maglinis ka naman! Kababaeng tao pero damak."

"Makadamak 'to! Di naman ako kagaya mo pinapahid ang kulangot sa pader!" she retorted back.

"Gusto mo idikit ko sa 'yo 'to?" He approached her and acted to touch her arms using the finger he dug out from his nose.
"Ew! Ano ba, kuya?!"

"Tiningnan lang kita kung buhay ka pa ba o nagpakamatay na nang dahil lang sa lalakeng 'yon." Nag-inat ito ng braso. "May dala akong Krispy Kreme, paborito mo. Nilagay ko sa fridge. Help yourself, okay?" he said and then left.
