The Mask of Happiness

I wear a mask,
The mask of happiness.
To self I ask,
"Isn't this madness?"

I made this guise
To hide my sadness,
And few more lies
Of being worthless.

Behind my smile
Is a crying soul.
It's been awhile
When I had this hole.

My hollowed heart
Is bleeding too much.
Tearing apart,
The void I can't touch.

I won't unmask
This false happiness.
I will just bask
This world of falseness.
