Let me get this out of the way: I DON'T HATE 1D, okay. I like a few of their songs. Although, my mum is a bigger fan than me.
Seriously. It's weird. I can't even listen to a song without her going, "PUT ON ONE DIRECTION."
No Mum. No. Stop it.
Okay, so Wattpad recently messaged me and said that soon, stories were only going to have one category each. Cool. Whatever. I mean, that kind of sucks in some respects, but they said that authors were going to have to choose the most relevant category for their story. Now, does that mean all of these 1D Fanfics that have taken over Wattpad's other genres will now be segregated in one category? Maybe. Maybe not.
The thing is, Wattpad should make an entire category for 1D. Seriously. There are that many that it just seems fitting to have an entire category dedicated to every fabulous and not-so-fabulous story about the boy band.
Because, whilst I don't read Fan Fiction, I do appreciate the trouble people go to, to write it. The only thing is, I don't want to go to into Science Fiction and find it swamped with stories about One Direction doing God knows what in an intergalatic space station. The funny thing is, that the story was mainly romance, so I didn't see why Sci-Fi was necessary as a genre...but that's just me.
I could go on for ages about how some fanfics scare the shit out of me (incest guys...really? Really? REALLY?)

Okay, so I could go on about that, but right now, I just want to say, there should be a category for any One Direction story. Not only would it make it easier to find new 1D stories, but it would allow other stories to be seen in other genres. Just saying.
