~YOONJI'S POV~

"This is gonna sting a bit" Jungkook said as he applied some ointment on the bruises I had because of the fight.

I winced in pain but tried to restrain myself from moving a lot to make it easier for him to treat me.

"Here take this. " Jungkook said to me as he offered a hard-boiled egg.

I took the egg and thank him. You might be thinking about why he hasn't left and still be with me. Well to make it short, I did say I'd be fine on my own and told him that he should go but he was persistent in accompanying me.

The atmosphere between us two was kind of awkward and quiet. So he started a conversation to break the ice.

"So..why are you here? " he asked hesitantly.

"I need a place to stay for the night. So the sauna was the only option I had" I answered.

"What about your family?" he asked.

"Well... I'm trying to find where my brother is and live with him since my mother kicked me out but as you can see I still haven't " I replied.

I know I shouldn't talk about personal matters to him but I thought that he might be able to help me find Yoongi since he's a cop. I need to find him.

"I'm actually surprised you're telling me all this. Do you need my help? " finally...That was the question I was waiting for him to ask.

"If you don't mind, can you help me find my brother's adress? " I asked him.

"Sure. I'd be delighted to help you with that. " he answered smilling.

Everything is going perfectly so far. Which got me thinking it's been going too well. Why would he trouble himself to help me that easily? It seemed fishy.

"Why are you wasting your time helping a stranger you just met so easy? " I fowardly asked him.

He stared at me for a few seconds when I asked that then gave out a light chuckle. He leaned closer towards me and tapped my forehead with another hard-boiled egg lightly by suprise causing me to blink.

"Cause that's my job idiot" he replied laughing.

"Was that really necessary? "I said glaring at him.

"You were so serious so I tried to lighten up the mood a bit. Anyways don't think I'm doing this for free" he stated.

I knew it. I knew he wouldn't willingly just help me without conditions.

"What do you want? " I asked him.

"Tell me how you ended up homeless and now desperately looking for your brother? " he asked. I was speechless. I mean that's personal matters so why should he know?

"Why would I tell you? " I said to him.

"Well for starters, I can help you find your brother just by the tip of my finger. " he exclaimed confidentially.

"Thanks for your help but no. I'm not gonna tell you anything. It's personal" I replied.

"I'm just curious you know? And dont think I don't know anything at all about you Yoonji. I know you're an assassin" he said with a smirk creeping on his face.

I froze for a few moments as I was shocked that he knew about that. Also worried that he'll arrest or something knowing I'm a criminal.

"W-who told y-you that? " I stuttered aa I asked him.

"I'll explain later after you tell me what I wanted to know before. Don't worry I'm not arresting you. I wanna help you. You see I'm not merely just a cop. Let's just say I'm a bit of a criminal as well. So tell me your story and then we can go find your brother" he said.

I was doubting him at first. I knew I couldn't trust him but I gave in anyways because I really want to find my brother and who knows if he'll report me since he knows who I am.

"Fine. "I replied and started explaining the whole story about my situation. He just nods along the whole conversation.

"Thanks for explaining all this" he thanked.

"Not like I had a choice" I simply answered.

"Good. See you tomorrow. We'll go to your brother's first thing in the morning" he said as he got up and walked away.

"God I hope I'm not screwed" I said to myself.

Next morning...

I was waiting for Jungkook to arrive and take me to my brother's house. Suddenly,it started raining heavily. I immediately took cover at a bus stop that was near me. Not far from where I was, I saw Jungkook approaching me while holding an umbrella.

"Let's go" he said and we were finally on our way to Yoongi's house.

It was quiet for a few minutes so I decided to ask him a question that has been lingering in my mind for a while now.

"How do you know me? "

~JUNGKOOK'S POV~

Our trip to Yoongi's house was actually silent. I only heard our footsteps and the raindrops falling on to my umbrella. My mind was wandering on it's own journey but I was snapped back to reality when Yoonji asked me a question out of the blue.

"How do you know me? "

I stopped walking when she suddenly asked that. I can't tell her how I know her and why I'm helping her find Yoongi. You might be wondering do I know Yoongi too? Well obviously yes I mean come on I know his address and how can I know Yoonji but not her family as well.

Anyways I hesitated for while thinking what I should tell her. I know I can't lie cause she would still find out sooner enough so I just told her a bit of the truth.

"Um... My parents and I met ur dad once and he told about you and Yoongi. " I answered.

Well I did sort of lied a bit. My parents and I did met her dad but I didn't say that we actually met both her parents and they never told us anything about her and Yoongi. I didn't say I met her mom too because I don't want her to mention or ask about me to her mom. I didn't want to be exposed just yet.

Well how could I not know them. After all...

Hi guys! I hope you enjoyed this chapter. If you do please leave a vote and comment. I'm sorry this chapter took so long. I was having a writer's block and actually kinda forgot the actual plot for a while. Anyways I'm currently working on the next chapter as well which btw(spoiler) is about Jungkook's past. As in how he met Yoonji's parents and how his parents' died. I hope you're excited for next chapter as much as I'm working on it. It may take a while cuz I'm currently having my pt3 exams which is an important exam in my country.
