As Nico was yelling at Laura, the boys discussed there plan. "I think we should split into two groups." V suggested. "And cover more ground. Good idea." Nero agreed, taking his feet off the dashboard. Nico, tired of yelling at the innocent girl, came forth and unveiled her newest creation. Nero reached his hand out to take the devil breaker when Nico took it away.

"Ah ah ah, cash first." she demanded. Nero sighed, "All the materials I gathered for your little pet projects don't count for anything?" he asked annoyed, pointing behind her. "My brilliant badass work is worth every dime and you know it." she argued. "Well your quality control sucks ass and you know that!" Nero pointed out. "Or maybe don't let them demons smack you around so much?" she countered. The boy sighed in defeat and said "Whatever," going to the back of the van. "Damn Nico." he growled. Laura laughed, "C'mon, Nico's nice when she want's to be." 

"I heard that ya little twerp!" Nico yelled. A squeak came from the girl as she hid behind the white haired male.  

The gunsmith glared at the woman but then smiled and started to praise herself for her work of art. Slowly. Laura came up and sat next to the jukebox. Griffon snorted "So your an artist now, huh?" the bird taunted. "Yes I am! Got any questions about that Little Chicken?" she rounded enraged which caused the bird to squawk.

"Nico he's not a chicken, he's a mighty eagle." the woman said reaching up to the bird demon. Griffon gladly stepped onto her arm. She lowered it and started to pet him. Nico glared at the two but she turned to V, "My grandmother was called the '45. Caliber Virtuoso'... Legendary gunsmith." 

The amnesia girl rolled her dark eyes and continued to stroke the bird. "Everything I create is art whether its a gun ... Or a steel pot to cook birds in." she remarked getting in to the demons face. Griffon crowed fearfully while Laura brought him closer to her, glaring at the gunsmith. "Lay one hand on him and your dead." the woman growled, well tried to. Nico rolled her eyes and ruffled the girls head. "Aah, no Nico my hair." 

"Oh hush you, your not menacing at all. Your a cute innocent little angel." she said continuing to mess the girls hair up.  "Any way we need to talk?" her voice serious as she took a whiff of her cigarette and blew it at the bird. The demon coughed as he teleported to his master. V had gotten up making his way to the door, "I'll take my leave now." waving the smoke away from him. 

 Griffon returned to his tattoos while Laura pushed Nico aside not intending to stay for there talk. "V wait up, I'm coming!" she exclaimed. "Hey wait you little brat!" Nico called but the woman ignored her. 

The poet waited for her out side the van. Once she had caught up, she smiled at him. The man nodded and looked to Nero, "And if we don't see each other along the way, we'll see you at the bottom of the Qliphoth." he said beginning to walk, Laura close behind him. "Crap, that oblivious little twerp. Yo Laura wait up!" Nico yelled, scrambling to the back. 

The raven haired girl stopped and turned to the gunsmith with the tattooed man stopping as well. "You idiot, ya forgot your weapon!" she said tossing the bow to the girl. She caught it and smiled. "Thanks!"

"Yeah, yeah no problem. Just so ya know I made a few adjustments." she explained. "It's now lighter and more easy to use plus you can wield it in close combat too and the best part is that it won't even break."

The girls face lit up, saying thank you again, she bid goodbye to her friends as V started walking again.  

"Why the hell did you let her go?!" Nero yelled. "I tried to talk her out of it but she just wouldn't listen so I might as well let her be. Besides she's with that V guy so I'm  sure she'll be ok." she reassured.

The white haired boy sighed as he looked at the two walking away. "So what're you gonna do?" the white haired male asked. 

While Nico and Nero were in the van, Griffon had appeared back with his master and Laura "So, V. You really think that kid can kill Urizen?" the demon asked once they were well away from the van. "One can only hope." not giving a straight answer. Laura only tilted her head in confusion. She then squeaked and looked behind her as did the others. The way they came had been sealed off by the crumbling bridge they were underneath.  "But for now we have a more pressing engagement." 

He walked forward with his familiar and the raven haired girl behind him. "We've a minor errand before we reach Urizen." 

 The girl tilted her head confused but continued walking, until they came out from under the bridge. Shadow had jumped out in front of the two humans in which the girl fearfully gripped her bow.

As the wind blew debris away, ant like demons came out to fill there abdomens with human blood. "Ooh, genius says 'be careful'. Yeah no shit Shirley! Ain't that right V?" the eagle taunted as he flew around. Then he went on to explaining how the man was fragile at the moment and he reminded how fragile Laura is.

V turned to said girl but she had drawn her bow, pointing it at the demons. She released an arrow of pure energy as it flew straight into the demons head. V smirked and ordered Shadow to attack. Laura kept shooting while Shadow sliced at them, together the two had destroyed all the demons. They continued onward. 

 "Sheesh, your really scary when in battle y'know that." the bird said as he flew next to the girl. "I am not." she replied. "Uh, yeah you are. You shoot that thing like your experienced. As if you've had that weapon your entire life!" the bird exclaimed. 

She tilted her head turning to look at Griffon however she bumped into the poet. Looking to the poet she rubbed her forehead, "V, why did you stop?" she asked.  She saw that the man was looking to the sky so she too looked up. Immediately she grabbed onto his arm. V held her hand in reassurance, "Don't worry Little Wanderer, I won't let them harm you." he said.  The woman blushed a deep red, "Th-thanks." a stuttering mess. The poet smirked as he left, the woman do to her own thing while he took care of the bats. 

"Get to work." he ordered. The bird began to blast lighting at them while Laura getting over her shock. Side stepped around V and shot one out of the sky. With the help of Griffon and Shadow, V and her killed the demons.

With the help of Griffon, Laura got down while V just jumped. Ant demons looked there way one immediately ran for Laura. Covering herself she cowered in fear and waited but noting happened. Looking up she saw that for one V had white hair and there was this big one eyed demon with inking blackness going down him. Laura stood there stunned as she watched V take care of the demons. As the last one was cut down, the poet turned to her, "Are you alright?" he asked. Blinking Laura blushed and quickly nodded. Getting up the two continued on there way. 

They came to a bridge,  "This bridge looks unstable." V said, cautiously walking forward.  "Really what makes you say that?" Laura asked as she trailed behind him. He didn't answer as he only continued towards the root. Summoning Griffon, he ordered him to destroy the root. Once the root was destroyed, a rumble started from the ground. The bridge tilted downward, this caused Laura to hold onto V as he put his cane down for balance. The storage cars slid down as the bridge continued to collapse. V grabbed Laura's hand and ran to the edge. 

He summoned Griffon and grabbed ahold of his leg. In order to do that, he had to let go of his cane, since his other hand was holding Laura'. The girl grabbed the cane, her bow on her back. The familiar flew the two over to the other side of the bridge. After gently putting Laura on her feet, V jumped down. 

"Good thing I decided to strap my bow on my back." she smiled as she handed the poet his cane. Smirking he took his cane from her hands but not before grabbing her hand and kissing it. "Thank you, Little Wanderer." letting go of her hand, he continued walking. The women blushed as she made a stuttered your welcome. The bird laughed as he flew besides his master.

Sorry it took me a while to update. I've been busy with my other stories. But I'll try to update soon.
