V stared at Laura as she held the devil sword Sparda. "How the fuck is this little girly not only wielding the Sparda but also able to draw out all of its abilities!" Griffon exclaimed shocked that a human could do this. "No mere human can do this feat." V' voice holding a slight hint of realization.

"Then that would mean she', she' got demon blood in here veins!" Griffon squawked in shock. "But she doesn't have the smell of demon on her." Looking to the black haired woman. "Yes, that is quite right but-" before the poet could finish the archer slowly started to fall. Swiftly V ran to Laura. Shadow however beat him to it. The cat had the woman on its back not allowing her upper body to touch the pool of blood. The devil sword Sparda clattered to the ground as the being walked back to the sorcerer.

Gently the tall male picked the short woman up, his arms underneath her legs while his other wrapped around her shoulders. Laura ,for an unknown reason, had fainted yet her eyes were open and still black.

"Damn wonder what she's seeing now." Griffon wondered. Shadow suddenly roared. "It speaks."

Flapping over to Shadow, the bird demon had Laura by the string of her bow. V not far behind dragging the devil sword with him. The trio gazed down into the darkness of the cavern. In the gray lighting just barley visible, in the crook of a gravestone, sat Dante. His white hair covered in blood deep as his coat.

After the group descended and Dante was awakened. Griffon urged him to get going lest Nero get squashed like a bug by Urizen. However the son of Sparda' attention was focused on Laura. Why do I get the sense that I've met that girl somewhere? asking himself. Shrugging his shoulders stretched. Shifting his attention to V he pointed to himself.

"Hey, this is my gig. Leave Nero out of this."

V, who had used the devil sword Sparda to awaken Dante, stood up. "If you could defeat Urizen... then I would not have dreamed of using that child." the poet explained. Walking over to his cane the dark haired male picked it up. "Urizen however is far more powerful than we anticipated."

Laura shot up causing both men to jump. "Woah girly, seems like you weren't having a nice dream." the demon teased. The poet slowly walked forward, leaning heavily on his cane.

"Whelp time for me to go. Can't let a boy do a mans job." Dante declared easily picking up the Sparda. Walking out of the ravine the poet went after him "Wait Dante. I'm not done talking yet-" V stumbled causing Laura to rush to him placing her hand on his shoulder.

Dante looked back at the two, "Okay, you two get some rest." he replied to V' shout. The pale woman glanced at the red clad devil. Her eyes pleading with him to help. A shiver ran through Dante that made his devil agitated.

Running out of the ravine, he remembered how Laura' eyes looked. Unlike her usual obsidian hues they were a bright clear blue. Now I'm sure of it those eyes I've seen them somewhere.

While the red clad devil ran V raised his hand. His skin flaking off him as if it was sand.

V and Laura had finally caught up to Dante only for him to go off on his own again. V looked to Trish who Dante had rescued from an armor demon. Draping a blanket over her, the poet sat down on a crate the woman beside him sitting next to him. The two sat in silence that is until the sorcerer spoke. "What did you dream?"

Startled the onyx haired women turned her face up to the dim sky. "I don't know." The sorcerer looked at her. Then he opened his book. "I was in a room, but everything was hazy and dark. I think you were there. Somewhere in the darkness." The bow women began. "What makes you say that?" he wondered continuing to page through his poems. "I could hear it, your voice somewhere in the darkness." she told.
