daniel's pov

*a year and a half later*

it's been 2 years since olivia and i started dating, the best 2 years of my life. today, i'm getting some help from the boys. well, a little more help from corbyn and jack since they're fairly close with liv.

i've spoken to all the boys and told them my plan. i plan on taking liv out for a surfing date, and after we're done surfing, im proposing to her.

yes, you heard (read) that correctly. i'm proposing. you might be thinking, "well daniel, how are you gonna do it?", it's not gonna be cliche. i don't want it to be cliche. i want it to be unique and remembered by the both of us.

livs pov

*a couple hours later*

daniel wanted to take me to the beach to go surfing today for our 2 year anniversary. so i prepared all my things, my surfboard, bikini, wet suit and some spare clothes.

it's been a while since i last surfed, that's definitely gonna be a fun experience. i put my hair back into braided pigtails and headed over to the boys' house.

i was quickly greeted by jonah at the front door and gave him a hug. i've been really close to jonah since we've met, he's my best friend in other words. the other guys?

well, corbyn and jack are like he brothers i've never had and zach is my lil goofball. then we have daniel, he's this guy who always lurks around me and the boys and is really attached to me and acts like we're a couple. IM KIDDING I SWEAR. daniel's my soulmate, my lover, my other half. alright, that's enough cheesiness.

i said hi to all the guys and went up to daniels room, knocking on the door first of course. "babe? you in there?" i ask. i don't hear a response, so i head inside and sit down on his bed. i wait for him to come back from wherever he is and just check my social media and text back a few friends.

it's been 5 minutes since i set my phone down and daniel's nowhere to be seen. i decide i'd steal a hoodie from his closet and pretend like i've had it for a while. as i open the closet, someone pops out of it and scares the living heck outta me.

any guesses on who it is? oh, it's daniel!

"DANIEL!" i scream, "don't do that again!"

i pout and daniel wraps his arms around my body, "i'm sorry baby, i just thought you'd notice after a while"

"well obviously i didn't," i pout. i grab the first hoodie i see in front of me and head out of his room, "i'm mad at you," i say as i go down the stairs. the boys were all sitting in the kitchen laughing at daniel and i's conversation.

"stop laughing or you'll get the silent treatment too," i scold and they all go quiet. "i'm gonna go sit in the car, tell daniel i'm outside."

*at the beach*

we got to the beach not to long ago and daniel set out a beautiful picnic. we put down our things, grabbed our surfboards and head out towards the water.

as we've been trying to catch waves, daniel actually got a few. as for me, i got none. i'm so out of practice that daniel started laughing at me then felt bad about it. so, he decided to help out a bit. and a little while after i got my first wave in a while.

we got out of the water once we felt hungry, and by then the sun was already setting. i took off my wetsuit and put on my cover up (a/n; yes, she was wearing a bikini under).
i suddenly see four people walking towards us and recognize them as the boys.

{quick switch to daniel's pov}

once we get out of the water, the boys see us and start to head towards us slowly. i huff out a breath i didn't know i was holding. "here it goes, daniel," i thought, "it's now or never."

i look over at liv and see her brushing her fingers through her hair to tame it. i text the boys a simple "ok" and give them the signal to come towards us. as soon as they're close enough, they start singing liv's favorite song, "can't help falling in love" by elvis presley.

she looks around confusedly, and turns to look at me. at this point, i'm already down on one knee and reaching to grab liv's hand. i've prepared for this moment for the past 4 months, and i'm finally doing it.

CLIFFHANGER! sorry :/ i'm running on out of ideas and i start school in 2 days, so i won't be writing much. which might result in this story being on hold. ANYWAY, enjoy :)
