(im doing this based off the last part and continuing from where i stopped there, so this wont be his pov from the beginning)

daniel's pov

i kept my hand on liv's thigh throughout the entire ride. i was taking her to her favorite restaurant, the place we went on our first official date.

i don't know how i've come in terms with such a beautiful person, but i'm glad fate brought us along. we got to the restaurant a few minutes later and i suddenly hear olivia gasp in surprise.

"babe, you really shouldn't have done this! this place is too expensive i can't go in there," she says frantically.

i chuckle, "liv, i don't care how expensive it is. it's our 6 month and i want to treat you,"

she reached over the armrest and gave me a hug, and obviously i hugged her back.

liv's pov

*a few minutes into their dinner*

"so," i began, "i know we said that we weren't gonna get each other any gifts. but, i couldn't get this out of my head"

"babe, you do know that you didn't have to. right?" daniel says, as he reassures me

"yes, i know. but i just had to," i exaggerated on how much i wanted to buy the watch for him.

yes, i did want to buy it for him. though, i was just so nervous he wouldn't like it or won't accept it because of how much money i've spent on him. and, quite frankly, it doesn't matter the price.

i pulled the box out of my purse and set it in the middle of the table.

"audemars piguet?" he reads, "liv, you didn't."

"well, i obviously did," i chuckled.

he got up and around the table towards me, "thank you so much!" he says as he hugs me tightly.

he pulls away and gives me a peck, "you really didn't have to. how much was it?"

"daniel, it doesn't matter. it's my gift to you, and i don't care about how cheap or expensive it is."

"alright," he sighs, "i also didn't really go by our rules. i um- i got you something too"

i look at him intently, and he pulls out a small, square, velvet box.

"that's not what i think it is, right?" i let out a nervous chuckle.

"what? oh, this?" he looks down and laughs to himself, "no, im not proposing... yet."

"yet? a bit confident, aren't we mr. seavey?"

"yes. yes, i am quite confident," he says with his head up, "i'm confident that our relationship will last for as long as we're alive."

"well, i wouldn't want to spend my life with anyone else."

im leaving it at that, i just needed a bit of a filler. but the next chapter is gonna be a year or so skip, so be ready for that. i'm really just planning this in my head as i go.

happy reading, i guess? (also, make sure to leave a vote. i'm not desperate or anything, but it really helps me out. thanks)
