part 14

third person pov

daniel opened the car door for liv before he jogged over to the opposite side. he quickly got in and started the ignition.  

the radio blasted out the couple's favorite song. "holy shit! babe, it's our song!" liv yelled loudly as daniel sat there and giggled. he put his on her knee and sang along to the words. it was moments like this that they really cherished, the moments where they forget about the rest of the world and enjoy everything about it. they couldn't be more careless.

they soon arrived to the beach and daniel could see his girlfriend's eyes glisten. she lightly gasped at the beautiful sight; she absolutely loved sunsets on the beach, which is the main reason daniel planned this date to be in her favorite spot on her favorite beach. 

liv's pov 

i got out of the car and lightly gasped, the view was breathtaking. literally breathtaking. "do you like it?" daniel asked, "dani i- i love it! thank you so much," i said giving him a hug. 

we walked onto the warm sand, barefoot and not giving a care in the world. the sun was about to set and all the colors merging together made it look heavenly. it was a mixture of a whole bunch of colors, from pink and purple to a reddish-orange and yellow. i couldn't imagine a better date. 

we arrived to the spot where daniel prepared everything, it was perfect. no other words could define the view in front of me, it was like a date i've always dreamed of. he took my hand and helped me sit down, i looked up at him and thanked him. 

"i can't believe you've done all of this, it's perfect" i say and pecked his lips quickly. "look, the sun's setting" he called out and we immediately looked towards the crashing waves and the sun looking as if it were sinking into the deep, blue ocean. 

*a couple hours later* 

we pretty much ate all the food and snacks daniel brought along, and i was stuffed. a cover of "can't help falling in love" by elvis presley was playing faintly in the background. we were laying down on the blanket, looking at the different star constellations.

"hey baby," daniel suddenly says, breaking the comfortable silence. "yeah?" i question almost immediately, "have you ever thought about your future?" it was a question that came out of the blue. "well, yeah. kind of, it has a few missing pieces here and there, but i have some parts planned out," i answered his question like i've had it planned out for this exact moment. "why the sudden question?"

"i don't know, i mean the boys and i have really been getting into the music industry and have considered forming a band," he shrugged. "wait, really?" i excitedly asked, "you want to be in a band? baby, that's amazing. you'll be pursuing the dream you've always wanted to come true"

i was really happy for him, he's always been wanting to do something with music. his voice is absolutely angelic and his power to play so many instruments can take him so far. i could feel him chuckle lightly, "it's nice to hear that you're happy for me. i've been wanting to this for ages, and there's finally someone other than my family and boys who support my decision." he says.

i sit up and turn around to look at him, i stare deeply into his blue eyes. "i love you," it was unexpected, but i meant it. i truly did love him. yes, we might've been dating for just a couple of weeks, but i've had feelings for him since forever and i knew this was the right time to tell him. 

his eyes widened a little before going back to their normal size, "i love you too." he grinned and sat up slightly and leaned in. i found myself also leaning in and before i know it, fireworks are exploding everywhere, butterflies are banging against my rib cage like they're looking for an escape. 

our lips eventually broke apart, but there were little pecks here and there. i leaned back and looked at every feature on his face, everything about him was perfect. he was perfect. "i figured out another part of my future and it includes you. i'm not gonna say what it is, all i'm gonna say is that you're a huge part of it," i smiled. i could only wish my parents were here to meet my first love.

ANNNNNDD that's it for this chapter, i'm publishing another one later on during the day. also, not sorry for leaving you on a "cliffhanger", i'll be explaining what happened to her parents in the next chapter. adios.
