part 8

daniels pov

i get up from the couch and head towards the kitchen with liv following behind me. im instantly hit with the smell of waffles and bacon, "how did you know this is my favorite breakfast?" i ask, chuckling slightly. "lucky guess?" she says but it comes out as more of a question. i roll my eyes and dig into the food.

"thanks for breakfast liv. i want to pay you back for being such an amazing friend to me this whole time." i thank liv as i walk out the front door.

"dani, it's no biggie. you're my friend and that's what friends do." she says reassuringly. "i insist, i'm taking you out for lunch. i'll pick you up around one thirty?" i ask.

"fine, i'll have lunch with you. one thirty is perfect. i'll see you later dani" she finally gives in as she goes in for a hug. i hug her back tightly and thank her once again.

*later on that day*

it's already one o'clock and i'm heading downstairs to go pick up liv. "hey jo, can i borrow your car for a couple of hours?" i yell out for jonah. "yeah, just don't ruin her. she was a gift from my parents" he yells back. i roll my eyes at his mention of his car being a "her".

i head out the door and drive to liv's house. the ride was pretty long due to traffic but i made it just as liv was walking out her door. "liv!" i get out of the car and hug her, "DANIEL JAMES SEAVEY, PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW" she yells as i pick her up. i laugh at her for using my full name.

"you asshole" she says as she hits my arm playfully. "hey, i'm just excited to see you" i make a comment back to her as she rolls her eyes. "whatever you say. i'm still gonna be mad at you" i scoff knowing she won't be able to stay mad for long.

*skip car ride cause ya girl lazy af*

i took liv to a cute diner at the edge of the city. i know she's been craving a burger and a milkshake for a while and i knew this was a perfect place to eat at. "hey liv?" i say grabbing her attention, "yeah?" she asks.

"um... do you want to go to the beach after this?" i ask quickly bailing out from the question i originally was going to ask her. "yeah sure." she quickly answered.

*third person pov*

daniel and liv finished their meal and had a quick conversation about daniel not liking chocolate. "how can you not like chocolate?" liv asks, "i don't know, i mean maybe after all the pranks tyler and christian pulled on me with chocolate i just stopped liking it" daniel says remembering all the times his older brothers pulled pranks on him.

after all that happened, daniel payed for the food with a bit of arguing between the both of them. they left the diner laughing about their silly argument.
