So

The Prom musical did it's final curtain call today

And let me tell you! I have never cried so hard in my life

This show means so much to me, it opened my mother's eyes about what's going on in this world and it made her more...gentle, on the subject

Im so grateful i got to see it on Broadway (as well as buy a shirt! And a 'we're all lesbians' Pin heh)

Not only that, it fills me with hope.

Growing up I never had any representation

But this show.

This show....shows everything. It tells a million stories that are still going on in this world today.

Im happy though.

This show existed. It made its way onto Broadway.
It had its first LGBT kiss on NATIONAL TELEVISION might I add.
It's given representation for generations to come.

And now...it's ended.

(They're making a book and I'm buying it hAHA-)

But, from the bottom of my unruly heart, I just wanted to say that this musical has really touched my heart. It has given me representation, and hope- maybe someday I'll have someone to dance with at prom.
Hopefully.

So, thank you Broadway.

Thank you, to everyone in the cast.

~Ice, a little lesbian who will forever keep this musical in her unruly heart.
