The next half an hour was chaotic, with most people leaving quickly and a few drunk people need to be put in a cab. James sat in a chair in the corner, avoiding almost everyone's eyes, until Rose walked up next to him.
"Hey, the Avengers are starting a meeting about Angel, I think we should be there," she said. Her voice was calm and controlled, like she dealt with these kind of things all the time. James gave her a small smile before standing up and walking next to her.
"Yesterday I was a nobody FBI agent from Sanfransico, and now I'm in New York with the Avengers. How did that happen?" He said looking at Rose.
"The worlds weird. I guess it didn't want to make your life easy," Rose said. Her voice held a hint of sadness, kind of like she could connect with what she was saying.
James felt best about not responding, so he stayed quiet and followed her foot steps into a business type room. It had a large rectangular table with black chairs around it. Angel sat at the head of the table, with her backpack on the ground next to her. The avengers sat around the table waiting for Angel to speak, but she seemed to keep her mouth shut.
She casually sat with her feet kicked up on the table and her hands behind her head. She looked around like she thought someone else would speak up. Then she noticed James and Rose enter the room, a small smile played at her lips.
Finally the silience broke when Tony Stark made a comment. "Well, I gotta say it you made a good entrance, but the suit comment, really?"
"Thanks Tony, but I wasn't really going to use it...it was more of a backup plan," Angel said smirking. She payed special attention to useing the word 'Tony' instead of 'dad'.
"Like your little stunt with the flash drive, was that a back up plan too?" Tony's words were meant to be serious, but his tone made it feel like a joke. Anyone in the room could tell that they were related.
Now Angels grin left her face. She looked down at the ground and kicked her feet off the table. "I wasn't going to use it. I would never use it. Besides, I could build one by heart. There was no need for the plans. She grabbed her backpack off the ground and dug round in it before throwing a plain black flash drive into the middle of the table.
Captain America picked it up and inspected it with one hand. Before he could do anything with it a red haired girl pulled it out of his hand. Then she plugged it into a spot on the table. In seconds the table began to glow with a faint blue light as holograms were pulled into the air. One had a bluprint full of chemical equations and equipment. Another was a 3D version of mark 2 of the Ironman suit. The whole table seemed to be full of things like this: a bluprint here, a hologram there, and in the middle of it all sat a version of the arc reactor that powered the suits.
Everyone sat mesmerized by the amount of power that could be held in these plans. Now, Captain America looked at Angel. "You copied all of this from Stark before he deleted them?"
She nodded her head and killed the power for the holographic table. "Fury asked me to do this a while ago. Then SHELD blew up and he assigned me to dig into HYDRA's sysems. I had to go under cover, but I did't know that they knew about the flash drive. So I improvised and used it as leverage."
For a second everyone let her words sink in, then the room fell into chaos. Pepper and Captain America started to yell at Angel, but the red haired girl defended her. Tony also joined in, and two other blonde guy began to help in the fight. Angel was the center of it all but sides began to form, one defending her and the other one saying that what she did was irrational.
"You're our daughter! You should have never taken the information from us!" Pepper yelled.
"Technically SHIELD adopted her, so she made the right choice by following orders," One of the blond guys screamed back.
The room was begining to get heated when a loud whistle rang out. Everyone shut up nd looked at the source, which happened to be Jason. He looked unhappy by all the screaming and stood up. "Does it mater what happened? Angel and the flashdrive are back so they both can't get us in even more trouble. Okay? good." Everyone sat still and pondered over his word for a second. No one spoke up, so he guessed that they were fine for letting Angel off the hook. Then he looked down at his watch and continued to talk. "It's 3 AM and we have guest," he motioned to James and Rose by the door, "So I think we can save this for tomorrow and go to sleep"
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement and looked like they wanted to leave. Finally Captain America spoke up. "Okay, tomorrow at eleven we will get on with more important things." Then he turned back to Angel, "You are off the hook, for now. One wrong move and you can't help us. Understand?"
Angel quickly nodded her head and grabbed her bag. "Can someone please get James and Rose a room to stay in?" She motioned to the two by the door and walked out. Everyone stood quiet for a moment until the red head and one of the blondes walked foward.
"Hello Rosabella," the red head said.
"Hello Natasha," she nodded her head to the blonde, "and Clint"
The blonde faced Tony, "I'll get them a room. You should talk to Angel." Tony nodded as the two people led James out of the room. Once they were gone Clint slung an arm around Rose's shoulders like they were old friends. "Rose, what have you been up to?"
Rose chuckled and looked up, "What do you think?"
"Was this another one of Fury's jobs?" Natasha asked. Rose shook her head. Natasha smirked, "You need to get a life Rose. All you do is missions."
"Oh, really and what do you do?" Rose said acting offended.
"We, you know, um, kiss?" Clint said like he couldn't think of anying. Natasha punched him in the arm and even James laughed at them. That caught both of their attention.
Rose looked over at him and bit her lip. "Oh, James this is Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. They were my trainers with SHIELD. This is James Taylor."
Natasha nodded her head and studied James, then looked to Clint to see him doing the same thing. Her face hardened, they had a silent conversation before both looking forward and not talking again.

Angel walked back to her room and threw her backpack onto her bed. Then she looked around and made sure everything was still there, which was hard to do with all the junk lying around. It was a pretty big room, with cream walls covered in posters and blueprints, a black wooden framed queen sized bed with white sheets, and other black furniture around the room.
Simply saying she was unorganized was an understatement. Her closet had some clothes hanging up, some laying on the floor, and others just piled up where ever they fit. Then there was her desk, which was littered with old blueprints, half finished experiments, and other stuff a normal high schooler would have.
The worst part was the floor. It was supposed to be dark hardwood, but looked more like a garbage dump. There were old chip bags, empty water bottles, rusted prices of metal, copper wires, clothes, and more. She casually grabbed an old experiment and rolled it over in her fingers. For a second she debated on working on it when a knock made her look up.
Jason stood in the door frame, an unimpressed look covering his face. "Angel, Tony asked me to-"
Angel cut him off, she put the devise in her pocket and looked at him. "Yet me guess? A family meeting?" Jason nodded his head. Angel frowned and walked to the door, "Let's get going then."
She smirked as she followed Jason through Stark towers until she got to the door. It was a thick metal, that was originally made to keep prisoners in. The room itself was an interrogation room, but because of the fact that it didn't get much use Tony turned it into a room for family meetings. Jason typed in a four digit code and opened the door for Angel. She slipped in and tried to avoid eye contact with Tony and Pepper.
She dug her phone from her pocket and threw it onto the table, next to Tony's and Pepper's. She stared as Jason did the same thing, then took a seat. Angel grabbed the last chair and sat down, finally looking up to see what she had to face. She took out the old device and began to work on it under the table, glad she had something to do in the silence.
Tony looked over at her and automatically knew that she had something in her hands, mostly because he wished he did too. "What are you working on?" he said loudly.
Angel looked up, a guilty look on her face. Then she threw it onto the table also.
"You're not suposed to bring other stuff in here Angel. We're supposed to be talking," Pepper said quietly.
Angel shifted to Pepper, "Oh, I'm sorry that I can't sit still for more than two seconds," Angel said sarcastically.
Pepper rolled her eyes, "Angel we aren't mad at you, or at least not as much. We know why you did what you did."
Angel smiled, "Good, then I guess I can go?" She stood up and started to walk out when she heard the other three people all say 'no' in unison. "Then what do you want to talk about?"
Tony finally looked up, "We want to talk about the two of you, helping the Avengers take out HYDRA."
Angel chuckled, "Yeah, why not help my dad in a fight, when I could be out in New York partying.."
Jason looked up disapprovingly. "Angel, this is serious. If we do this then we could be a family, get to know each other better,"
"Oh, even you want to help? I thought you were all about peace?" Angel joked again.
Jason narrowed his eyes. "Angel, are you going to help us or not?"
Angl grinned and kicked her feet on the table. "Sure, why not? As long as Rose and James can stay with us too. I don't want to be stuck alone with a bunch of old people."
Tony laughed and pushed Angel's feet off the table, "I'm not old, so you must be talking about Capsicle and Thor?"
"Uh, sure..." Angel watched as the rest of her family laughed and wondered if this was going to be as bad as she thought. Maybe this could be fun.

I GOT IT UP!! Yay, I'm really sorry that it's late but school and sports got the better of me this month.
Now for the pictures, the first is of Niall Horan, who plays Jason Stark. The next is the Age of Ultron trailer (which if you haven't seen you need to) that came out today. I felt like adding that because this is a marvel fanfic and this is EXTREMELY big in the Marvel fandom.
Also Age of Ultron will have no effect on this book, so don't worry about me changing the plot to fit it in.
TYSM FOR OVER 600 READS!!
Please keep commenting and reading💕😘
