Hello fellow readers! Welcome to my second story as J.E Montgomery, Scarred Roses. To those who don't know I'd written an older version of this story under a different name on a different Wattpad account. That was over four years ago and though it was my most read and most treasured story on Wattpad, I wasn't happy with how it turned out. So after some years and some reviewing over how I could make the story more of what I wanted it to be I've finally come to this. A version I am very proud of. And I hope you love it as much as I do.
A little context for you; this story starts on the cusp of the allies liberation of Poland in 1945. And though I have done my share of research into the historical background of my story there are, no doubt, some things I may have gotten wrong. Please forgive me for that. If there are some historical errors please let me know-I'm still learning, you see.
