════ ⋆★⋆ ════He just kept smiling at me, unfazed by the fact that I declared my so called love for Vegeta. And now he attains the title of being my big brother? Hell, that's what I got Renso for. Never in a million years, or a billion time lines would I ever want Goku as a brother. No way. Maybe step-siblings if that brought us closer than before, but still. This timeline, is perfect as it should be. A few minor flaws, but it's alright. As long as I'm not related to Goku in the slightest.
"There's still food left in the kitchen, if you want some." I mumble. Goku scratches the back of his head and chuckles nervously. "That is, if Vegeta hasn't scarfed it down already." I force a smile and roll my eyes. "I'm pretty sure you have a bigger appetite than he does." I say in retaliation. Goku taps at his chin, thinking for reasons to counter my statement. Judging the defeated look in his eyes, he can't conjure up a worthy reason. "Ahh, well. I guess that's true. Mom always rambles on how we never have leftovers because of me."
"Wow, you eat more than Raditz, and even your own dad?" I say with my jaw dropped, to which Goku nods quickly. "Yea! Shocking, I know. Still, I'd rather see mom happy that I eat all her cooking than frustrated because I don't eat it." Goku explains, looking around my room again. "So..." he avoids eye contact for a mere moment. "You're going to be alone until August, right?" Goku asks. "Yes." I reply steadfast, Goku should've already known this answer, but I guess the goofball must've already forgotten. "Oh, why didn't you want to go with your family? Surely, it'd be fun to go on a cruise."
"I'd rather be here with you."
Finally, his gaze meets mine. I can't read his emotions, he's too hard to read. Why can't he be easy to read like Cabba and Tarble? Hell, even Vegeta is easy to read! "Really?" Goku says with a surprised smile, seemingly excited with my answer. "Y-Yea." Oh great? I'm stuttering—that's Kale's thing, not mine. So then, why with Goku am I such a stuttery mess? I guess it might be too cold in here or something. I guess I'm too dazed into Goku's eyes, his response flies through my head.
"Caulifla, did you hear me?" His voice snaps me out of my imaginative thoughts. "Hm?" I take a look up at him. "So, does that mean you want to hang out often? I know you're a Sophtie and all, but, I'm willing to hang out with ya." He declares, then breaking our eye contact by staring at my pillow. "Besides, I wouldn't want you to hang out with Vegeta all the time...I can even give you pointers on how to get to his heart."
I let out a fake laugh, as his attention returns back to me. "Yea, sure. Thanks." Before I can say anything else to Goku, the door is swung open, and two screeches far too familiar cloud up my ears. "Aw snap, Cabba, what do we have here?" Tarble says in a sing songy voice, parading inside the room. "Gee, I don't know, Tarble. Perhaps it's Edward and Bella preparing to kiss each other until they, you know. Break the bed." Cabba nudges Tarble, and then turns to look at me with a mischievous smile and a wink to boot. "How are you two love birds?"
