Chapter Ten

Colby's POV

I woke up with my baby in my arms. Jake's new stuff comes in today. Sam agreed to watch him so I can decorate. I'm so excited I hope he likes it. I guess I should wake up Jake to see his little space age so I can make him breakfast. I think sometimes he's younger than two. I think he can be one and a little bit younger. I'm fine with that though.I shake him a little.

"Baby it's time to get up." He stirs a little but doesn't wake up.

"Baby cakes time to get up." He pops open his little brown eyes. He just looked at me. I tickled his belly and he gurgled a bit. I know he's in a younger than two.

"Does my baby boy want breakfast?" He giggled. I picked him up and carried him to the living room. I set him down on the couch. I grabbed a paci and popped it in his mouth. I walked in the kitchen and made him a bottle. I walked back in the living room and picked him up. I pulled out his pacifier and popped his bottle in his mouth. I sat down with on my lap. I cradled him in my arms and fed him. I talked while I fed him.

"I'm gonna take you to the doctors then your going to Sam's apartment I have stuff I need to do. It's very important I would have you here with me but my lil baby distracts me to much." I said it in a way that made him gurgle. He clapped his hands and finished his bottle. Well baby lets get you ready. It was already 10:00 because we slept in late. His stuff should be here around 1:30. I have the tracking on my shipping. I put him in a dinosaur shirt and black overalls. He seemed happy. I'm kinda glad he's in his youngest little age. He manly just sleeps. I'm glad so Sam can take care of him easier. I put a few of his bottles with milk, his spare paci, stuffies, and a sippy cup of jucie in case his age changes. I grabbed him and his bag. He cuddled into my neck. I got dressed and we left.

Time skip to after doctors office

The doctor said he was good to walk just to take it easy. As soon as we left Jake went back into his smallest space. I walked down the hall and knocked on Sam's door. He opened the door and smiled. I gave Jake a kiss and passed him to Sam. Sam tickled him and he gurgled. I love when he does his cute gurgles. I gave Sam Jake's bag and said my goodbyes. I walked to me and Jake's apartment. I waited a while till the packages came and got to work.

Sam's POV

Colby just dropped of Jake and I don't know what to do. Colby said he was in his youngest little stage. Which means he doesn't talk or eat adult food. I set down his bag and sat down with Jake. He started to squirm and whine. I stood up and bounced him a little. When that didn't work I went to his bag. I found a pacifier and popped it in his mouth. He immediately calmed down. He clapped his hands and smiled. I carried him back to the couch and sat down with him in my lap. I turned on some cartoons and Jake snuggled close to me(not in a like like kinda way. A friendly way.) I like taking care of Jake felling needed. I think I may be a daddy. Maybe I look into it. I look down to see Jake asleep. I picked him up and carried him to my room. I laid him down on my bed and went back out to watch tv.

Time skip a few hours

I hear Jake crying from my room I get up and walk into my room. I see him crying and go pick him up. I put a pacifier in his mouth he spit it out and continued to cry. I went to his bag and found a bottle. I put it in the microwave. I waited till it was done and made sure it wasn't to hot. Then popped it in his mouth. He instantly calmed down. I wiped his tears and we walked to the couch. We sat down with him on my lap. We just watched tv and he fell asleep again which Colby said was normal for him to sleep a lot.

Colbys POV

I am almost done with Jake's room. I think he is going to love it.

Time skip

I just finished Jake's room. I love Jake but I'm just gonna relax for a little. I need some alone time. I haven't left Jake alone since the accident. I sit down and watch tv.

Sam's POV

Jake wakes up and he goes to the bathroom. I don't think he completely comfortable in little space around me. If he was he would have asked for me to take him to the bathroom. Which Colby said was normal and that he's shy. He comes back and sits on the couch. I pick him up and sat him on my lap. He just snuggled close to me. I tickled his belly and he gurgled. We just chilled and watched tv. Then I remember I had cookies we can bake.

"Does baby Jakey wanna make cookies?" He clapped his hands. Which I took as a yes. He can't won't eat them now but I will send some home with him. I pick him up and carry him to the kitchen. I set him on the counter and pulled out the stuff to make them. I turned on the oven. I put the stuff in the bowl. I then helped him stir it up. I then roll up the dough in little balls and put it on a baking sheet. With that it was in the oven.

Time skip

We finished the cookies and I put some in a container for him and Colby. Jake clapped his hands and gurgled.

Time skip a few hours

It's dark out side and Colby still hasn't picked up Jake. I decide to text him.

S- hey you coming to get Jake

C- yea give me like ten minutes

S-k see you then

C-k

I put Jake's stuff in his bag and set it by the door. Then Jake started to cry. I went to his bag and grabbed his paci which he spit out. I grabbed his last bottle and put it in the microwave. I then popped it in his mouth which he greatfully took. I sat down with him and we just watched cartoons.

Colbys POV

I clean up a bit and get ready to get Jake. I'm so tierd not of Jake just I need a break. I think Jake may need one to. Maybe I'll book a vacation for us. I should go get Jake. I walk to Sam's apartment and knock. It takes a second but Sam opens the door with a smiley Jake, his bag, and cookies. I reached for Jake.

"Dada me and Sammy made cookies."

"That's great baby but, how old are you."

"I two!"

"Okay baby lets go home. Thanks Sam I'll text you."

"Okay no problem." I grabbed the rest of his stuff and walked home. When we got home I changed Jake into a onzie and walked around with Jake till he fell asleep. I havent shown him his nursery so i cant use the rocking chair I bought. I stripped down to my boxers. Then laid down next to him and went to sleep.
