(Same Day - Sunday)
Mid-November - Mid Afternoon - Seoul - Random Playground (For Location)Taehyung's POV
............
"Oh? Is that you, Taehyung?"
I heard a voice call out. Jimin seemed to have also heard it as he turned around with me to look for the owner.
I saw a woman approach us as she waved.
"You know her?" Jimin leaned in and subtly whispered into my ear, as not to make the woman think we're talking about her.
Upon reaching our table, she placed her heavy-looking bag down and sat down too.
"How are you?" She asked after finally catching her racing breath. She smiled at Jimin and me, waiting for an answer.
"Um,-" I started, "Do I know you?" I asked carefully. I didn't want to seem rude. She caught on and gasped a little.
"Oh my, sorry, where are my manners. It's been months, so that's understandable." She waved a 'no worries' before continuing.
"I'm the lady you met at the playground months ago. Well, around the ending of September. I gave you my number to call us for a playdate, but you never did. I knew I should have gotten your number too." She said, all at once.
The memories finally hit me, and I remembered. She's the mother of the kids HaeMin was playing with. The daughter and son.
"I'm Yuna, by the way." She introduced as she looked around. Her eyes landed on Jimin, and she spoke again. "I don't think I've met you yet."
Jimin finally realized what was going on. He was probably still shocked by how the woman just came up to us.
"Ah, I'm Jimin. Taehyung's friend." He also introduced, shaking her hands in the process.
"Sorry for not contacting you. I saved your number, but I've been so busy with work that I didn't have time to call you." I explained. She understood and replied with no worries.
"It's just that my Hani has been asking about your daughter coming over."
I nodded but still felt terrible. HaeMin would've probably liked that.
"I'll do my best to call you, but I'll be swamped till December," I commented. She nodded again before we escaped that topic. Jimin and I got to know her more, and she was actually a very cool and interesting person.
She was funny and outgoing. She was very experienced in many things and had many hobbies.
One thing I loved about her was that she knew how to voice her opinions and didn't waste time to put people in their place.
She said she once had to be rude to an elderly lady who kept speaking ill-ly about a gay couple at the park.
She had kept saying it was still wrong for men to be with men despite it being their own child.
