Taehyung's POV

............

The fashion event was getting nearer and nearer; as were the days going by fast. I was getting nervous as it neared. I was unsure of why.

Maybe it was because it's the first show I've ever COORDINATED, and my boss would be there to evaluate it.

The progression of our company and TaeJeon LLC depended on it. I really want it to be successful.

Things have been going well. HaeMin has been understanding of me and says she actually enjoys coming to work with me.

Jimin has offered to take care of her, and I appreciated it, but I don't want to burden him. He has a child to care for after all.

On the topic, HaeMin and I discussed not long ago,... I really did my best to let it go, but I just couldn't forget it.

It really pained me to hear my daughter say her father was in heaven when she met him just a few weeks ago. She's met him numerous times actually.

I want what's best for her—though my greediness will influence it.

I'm going to cut off all contacts with Him after the show. I have to set things straight. I believe that's what's best for us.

I may be greedy and might seem like a horrible obnoxious selfish bitch who only cares for himself, but I don't care. This is what my heart can handle.

I love him, I really do, but I can't be with someone who treated me like trash and threw me around like a toy.

What if he treats my angel like that when he's mad?

HaeMin already believes he's gone, so why tell her otherwise.

It will forever be something on my guilt and conscience, but it's the best option right now.

The show is almost ready.

I was on my way to work after dropping HaeMin off.

I parked in the garage and headed for the elevator. After stepping out, I headed for the cafe and grabbed my usual coffee.

There was a guy behind the counter today, and as he handed me my cup, he slipped a piece of paper next to it.

I took it and opened it.

It was a number, and a 'call me' written on it. I chuckled a bit at how cute it was. Just like that time too. It drove another memory to mind.

How I met Him.
