Beginning (to Mid) of December (13th) - Morning (Weekend) - Seoul - Jungkook's ApartmentThird Person POV
.................
The sombre night had faded away and had been replaced with a brighter star instead. It was currently 11 am, and Kang Miran lay sound asleep on Jungkook's living room couch. She had waited the night out for him, but he still wasn't back. She shifted in her sleep, and soon enough, a loud thud was heard. She fell from the couch."Ouch!" she exclaimed as she rubbed her head. The full head of hair she had wasn't enough to protect her from the cold tile floor. She sat up without delay to prevent any embarrassment in case the male was home.
She stood up and straightened her dress, walking around the penthouse to see if he was back.
"Jungkook?" she called out, yet received no response. She walked out to the balcony, but the cold air brought her running back. It was December, after all. She ascended the stairs and checked the bedrooms, but it was to no avail.
"Did he come back?" she questioned herself. She lingered around the hallway, thinking of places he could be. She stared up at the large landscape picture bolted into the wall. Disgusting, she thought.
She fetched her phone downstairs and dialed the man she hired's number. It took a couple of rings, but eventually, he answered.
"B-boss?" he stuttered. His voice came out in a quavering tone than expected, but the woman thought nothing of it.
"Where is he?!" she roared. She was pissed at the man for telling her he was heading home when he wasn't.
"H-have you tried to call him?" the man asked.
Miran remained quiet on the line. She took in a deep breath before speaking again. She was over the top mad. How dare he ask her that?! She was planning a surprise for him, so of course, she didn't call him.
"Whatever, how did the job go?" she diverted.
"Uh-uh...you see, it went really well, but i n-need to meet you and tell you in detail. Where are you, boss?" the man babbled. He seemed all over the place and sounded odd.
"Why? Can't you just tell me?" Miran asked, confused at his words.
"NO!" he yelled in agony.
Miran seemed to have caught on to his abnormality. She wondered what was going on with him but had no care. She only cared about how the job went.
"Fine," she declared. " meet me at the usual place in an hour." with that, she ended the call and went to get ready. You see, she had brought an extra pair of clothes with the hopes that something interesting could happen between her and Jungkook. Something unholy.
