My Life as An American High Schooler

Senior Season 😌

Sooooo today was my first day of school. Internally I was excited but I was really tired cause I had like anxiety and couldn't sleep.

So basically I ended up awake at like 5 so I just laid in bed for over an hour and half and then got ready then waited for my friend to come pick me up. So she got here and then we drove to school getting there at like 7:50ish cause we wanted to get in line for our IDs butttttt they didn't have them today 🙄

So next I had to go to home room go get my schedule blah blah and then off to first period. I had calculus and I've already had that teacher so he's really chill and funny. We did some notes and then some work and that was that for an hour and a half.

Then I had computer science and from the start it was weird. It's a class of like sophomores and there was only one other senior so I kinda stuck with him. Then the teacher made it a challenge to organize ourselves into alphabetical order by talking to each other and we struggled 😂 finally we all found where we needed to be and class sorta began. He had us go online and answer these questions about ourselves. The weirdest part to me was when he asked us to submit two of our favorite memes 😂 it was random but oh well. Next we started talking about binary and like bases and stuff and started converting numbers and it was really easy to me but a bunch of kids struggled so that's all we did for the rest of the time.

Theeeennnnnn lunchhhhh woooooo. I went out to eat with my Bf and a friend and I honestly thought I was gonna be late to class so I like scarfed down my food so I was like bleh after.

We returned on time gladly and I went to my English class and I knew people there so I sat with them. Our teacher talked for like 45 min and it was kinda annoying/boring but she seems chill and excited to teach us. We then had introductions of our name, where we're from, and what we wanna do after high school. Everyone pretty much said college. Except this one kid who said he didn't wanna do anything. After that she had us fill this like 20 question paper thing to try and get to know us and that was that.

Finally I had BASKETBALLLLLLL woooooo! Today we were just in coaches room and all he did was tell us the sameeee speech I've heard the past 3 years. He just went over expectations and stuff and that we start working out on Wednesday so I'm nervous but ready. And that's pretty much all. Kinda a slow but fast day. I'm glad to be starting a routine tbh. I need it.
