I slip my books in to my locker and shut it; "Hey I'm Tammy" Tammy sticks her hand out enthusiastically, I give Tammy a fake smile and took her hand; she shook it firmly. Tammy immediately let go of my hand and linked arms with me, honestly it kind of shocked me. "We are going to be best friends, I can already tell!" Tammy let out a squeal and dragged me along to the cafeteria.

"Hey, you gonna eat something?" Georgia looked over at me while eating her hot dog; I give her a smile, "Nah I snuck some food in class".

I don't know what it was about the woods outside our new house, it felt to me as if there was an invisible rope trying to drag me towards them. Dad had told me many time never to go near the woods, I didn't understand why; last time I had checked there weren't any bears around La Push. I turn my gaze from out of my bedroom window to the drawing pad that was resting on my knees and let my hand draw the image on my mind .

I close my drawing pad and pull the woolen arm warmers from my wrists, I look down at the red swollen cuts on my arms and sigh, sliding the arm warmers back on again. "Genie!" can you get the door for me?" dad shouts up at me from the kitchen; I walk downstairs and open the door to Seth. "Oh.. hey Seth how did you know were I lived?" I let Seth inside, "I have my ways" Seth grins, "Hey Clearwater? what are you doing here? did you're mum send you?" dad looks at Seth. "Actually I came to see Genie, we met at school" Seth puts a hand on the top of my back causing me to start shuffling my feet awkwardly. "Oh that's cool!" dad smiles and walks back in to the kitchen. I turn back to Seth and give him a shy smile "so... why'd you come to see me?...". Seth grins and takes my arm, "well, we are friends now so, we're going to go to stuff that friends do!". I was beginning to think that Seth was to friendly for my likings, "I'm taking Genie to do friend stuff, cya Mr.Parker" Seth slams the door. "Uhh.. seth I have homework and that" I try to pull my arm out of his grip. "I'm sure you'll have time to do that later" he loosens his grip on my arm and slides his hand in to mine, entwining out fingers. My face immediately turns bright red and Seth just laughs and pulls me around the street corner. I was surprised to see an old red 1963 cherry red Chevy pickup parked against the curb quite carelessly. Jacob Black sticks his head out of the window and waves at me, "Hey there Evergene" he hung his arm loosely around a brunet girl who smiled at my gently.

I wave and Jacob and the girl and Seth opens the back door for me, I get in reluctantly. "Hey I'm Bella" the girl turns in her seat and smiles and me, her eyes were a strange yellow gold colour, it interested me. I smile a give Bella a small wave as Seth gets in to the other side of the car.

We arrive beside the beach and as soon as I got out of the car Jacob swung me on to his back and started running up the hill. I let out a surprised shriek and wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck for protection. "L-Let me down Jacob!" I let out a laugh and cling on to him for my life.

We finally arrive at the top of the hill where there was a small crowd of tanned people, I noticed them as the people I met at school. A few of them turn around to see us and wave, smiling.
Seth and Bella arrive behind us talking amongst themselves. To my shock they all start stripping their clothes and jump of the cliff one by one. I gasp and peer over the edged wondrously as they all laughed and talking between themselves. "It's okay, they'll live, we do this for fun, and I swear none of us have ever gotten badly injured" Jacob sends me a wink and leaps of the cliff.

Hey guys... I'm sorry I haven't updated at all, I never usually have any inspiration to write, I've been going through a hell of a time recently so my inspiration meters are shockingly low. I wont be updated frequently like most authors but i'll try my best to fit in chapters when I can. I tried my best of this chapter and it took me a while, but I hope you enjoy :) -Hannah
