I peer over the edge as Jacob lands in to the water, letting out a loud laugh and waving at me at the bottom. I smile and turn around as others jump off, "are you going to have a go Genie?" Tammy takes my arm. "No thanks... I'm fine just watching" I tell Tammy, "Oh come on Genie live a little" she laugh and starts to pulls at my shirt. I frown and try to move my arm away from Tammy's grip, "No it's fine.. I'd rather not." "Come on Genie don't be such a boring nerd, have a go!" she tugs off my arm warmer causing everyone to gasp. I frown at Tammy and step backwards, hiding my arm behind me, "I said I didn't want to.. why didn't you just listen" I ask furiously as she stares at me with guilt. "Jeez... I didn't think you'd be an emo cutter Genie..." she sticks out her bottom lip, her guilt immediately washing away.

I crease my face up, bending down a snatching the arm warmer off the ground, tears threatening to spill. "How dare you." I growl, turning away from her, someones hand catches my arm. I turn around to see Paul looking at me with worried eyes, "I-.." he starts, but I rip my exposed arm out of his grip and run as fast as I could in to the woods.

I ran for as long as I could, far enough from them as I though I could get. How come no one stopped them?
I collapsed on the floor, wrapping my arms around my legs, letting my tears fall. The familiar feeling of abandonment and loneliness dawned over me again as I held myself tightly. "Why must you cry angel?" A soft voice speaks to me, I sniff and look up at the owner of the voice. The man looked down on me, he only wore and pair of tight fitting black pants, he stuck his hand out and took mine, pulling me up. Why would a man like this be deep in to the woods at this time? I gazed in to his captivating eyes. One was a pale blue and the other was the same, yet with a hint of hazel on the side. "W-Who are you?" I ask, taking a step back from him, he looks at me for a while and raises a hand to my face, wiping a stray tear from my cheek.

He places one hand on my waist and pulls me in to his bare chest, shocking me completely. For some random reason I felt relaxed in his arms, as if his embrace could save my whole life, as if it could mend my heart. I felt so strange, I was hugging a complete stranger in the middle of the woods. "Shh Evergene, save your tears" he whispered, letting go of me and walking away.

I stare at the direction he walked for a while, my eyes the size of dinner plates, I was shocked, yet I felt so calm and collected. "Man this is some weird shit" I mutter, walking around a bit and then letting out a yawn. I didn't want to go home, I felt the need to stay in the woods, I felt free here.

I soon felt my eyes start to ease closed, so I leaned up against a tree and curled in to a ball, eventually dozing off to sleep.

The howl of a dark black wolf ran through the forest as the shadows loomed over the sleeping girl. The wolves circled around her sleeping body protectively, smelling the air ferociously. The black wolf turned to her and grew in to a human with tanned skin and dark hair. "Here she is" he spoke in his low voice, slipping his arms around her, picking her up.

"I'm ashamed of you, you're supposed to protect her" he told the man that was now next to him, "I know" the other man said, lowering his head shamefully.

Hey guys... I managed to write another chapter and I'm hoping it turned out well, I tried my best to not make it too corny... haha. So who do you think the mystery boy is? How does he know Evergenes name? and how could he make her feel that way..? I guess you'll have to find out later ;) -Hannah
