Chapter 4: feelings

-1 week later from the lake-

Will POV

Ever since the day we went to the lake El and max have been avoiding Lucas and Mike, which of course means that Lucas and Mike have been obsessing over stupid girls--again.

"What did I do wrong? Why is she ignoring me?" Mike groaned dipping his hand in the Cheeto bag for the 50th time.

"You did nothing wrong. Maybe she just needs some space." Lucas shrugged trying to calm mike down.

"It's Max. she's probably conspiring against me," Mike said pacing the ground.

By conspiring you mean making out...

"Hey that's my girlfriend!" Lucas yelled.

Who decided that?

"Whatever." Mike rolled his eyes.

"I know what to do! We need to win them back!" Lucas said.

"How?" Mike asked flopping on the sofa letting out a small burp.

"We need to buy them something... surprise them with some gift," Lucas rubbed his chin.

I think you'd have to surprise them with vaginas to win them back and maybe throw in some boobs too...

Lucas and Mike ran upstairs to head to the mall. Dustin and I looked at each other.

"GUYS CAN WE JUST PLAY D&D...GUYS...WE'RE STILL HERE" I yelled.

"Those shitheads," Dustin said shaking his head.

Eleven's POV

I was laying in bed reading a Cosmo magazine that Max gave me until the phone started to ring.

I sighed putting the book down and walking to the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hi El!" Max said. I smiled hearing the young girls voice through the phone.

"Hi Max!" I said smiling and twirling the cord around my finger.

"Do you want to go see a movie at the mall today?" Max asked with a lot of excitement in her voice.

"Yeah of course."

"Ok ill be over in 10 minutes to pick you up."

"Ok see you then," I said with a big smile on my face.

"See you then cutie," Max said before hanging up the phone.

I jumped back onto my bed smiling at the ceiling.

I sat up and looked in my closet examining my clothes.

These shits are disgusting.

Mikes POV

Me, Lucas, will and Dustin hopped off our bikes once we arrived at the entrance of star court mall.

"So what are we looking for," I asked locking up my bike.

"Something shiny and sweet,," Lucas said.

"Like that'd do anything" Will mutter to himself.

"What," I said looking at Will.

"Uh.. nothing,," Will said to me with wide eyes. I shrugged it off.

Ok, what to buy what to buy.

I pulled out my wallet and counted all the coins and one crusty dollar bill. Ok, I have..... $3.50..... SHIT.
