Ellie sat on the bed, gazing at the ceiling and its chandelier, now feeling worried.

She had tried on so many of her dresses and shoes, that now, she was confused upon what and how to dress for her Prince.

She was also still somewhat confused by her dream and the arrival of a goat. There were now so many things in her mind, she could not focus.

Then, in a flash of inspiration, she realised what she should do…call her friends to give her advice.

On that count and in her estimation, two friends would be enough and of all her friends she had, the best ones for this advice would need to be available now and have great fashion sense. There was no doubt in her mind who these should be…Me-Me and Jenny.

Ellie trusted them both and knew they would be honest with her and advise her properly for this big day. This day may influence the rest of her life, she thought, as her thoughts drifted off again thinking of being a real princess married to a real prince, even if his name is “Sajith”.

Ellie called her friends and immediately they agreed to come over and help.

Jenny dropped everything to go and collect Me-Me and drive over to Ellie’s house. The whole village always felt in heaven when Jenny “dropped everything” for them, although it did have to be a very special occasion for this to happen. "Today was such an occasion for Ellie", thought Jenny.

Meanwhile Ellie decided she could do no more until they arrived and went to make herself another coffee in her love cup.

While heating the milk, her phone rang and she went to answer.

“Hi and good morning”, Ellie answered and was greeted by “Hey Ellie, its JoJo, how are you?”

They passed a little time, chatting about nothing, until out of sheer excitement, Ellie told JoJo of her dream and the arrival of a goat named Crazy Kid.

At first, JoJo didn’t know what to say and thought that Ellie may have been joking, but when Ellie sent proof of the goat by taking a picture of it on her cellphone, JoJo realised it was true. “Oh goodness” said JoJo, “this really all does sound so fantastic, Ellie. Let me know if I can help with anything?”

JoJo was always so kind and totally trustable and reliable. She had even been known to Kick (with her foot and tongue), people who were offensive to her friends, such was her loyalty.

Sometimes she kicked people so frequently and proficiently that she had been offered many roles and “positions” in the village football team. JoJo, as a true lady, “not wanting to play silly games with unruly men”, as she put it, had always declined.  Although, in bored moments, JoJo had considered it may be a good idea to try!

Ellie had drifted off into a daze again, as she lay upon the bed, waiting for Jenny and Me-Me to arrive. Although, in the background noise from the sea and blowing breeze, she could hear the playful yelps of Loner, as he enjoyed his bone with Denny.

In a flash of hoof-beats and fur, and with the galloping of hooves and giggling screams that echoed up the stairs… into Ellie’s room burst Crazy Kid…with Jenny and Me-Me on his back!!!

“WOOOW”, said Ellie as they all fell in a heap of laughter close to the balcony in a corner of the room, Ellie still dazed on the bed.

Jenny and Me-Me were still giggling and “getting themselves together”, as Crazy Kid clip-clopped out onto the balcony through the open French door.

Me-Me was a little embarrassed, as she tried to recover and cover herself appropriately, because the excitement and ride up the stairs with Crazy Kid had left her almost totally without her usual short skirt.

Quickly, realising Meme’s problem, Jenny stood in front of her and threw some pixie dust at Ellie, which Jenny always kept in her jeans pocket for adventures such as this.

“Pixie dust” is a sparkling powder that, whilst harmless, creates a perfect cloud to disguise all problems that may appear to the naked eye and Me-Me was… almost naked. (Regrettably not for the first-time in these situations – but that chapter of the story is for another day).

The dust seems to evaporate and, strangely, time stand still, to reveal everyone in Ellie’s bedroom in perfect splendour. Jenny really had all the right ingredients to make everything wonderful.

“Ellie”, said Me-Me…"what kind of impression do you want to make upon this Prince?”

Silence filled the room, apart from the occasional bark and growl from Loner, as he played with his bone in the garden with Denny.

“Well”…said Ellie…"I really want to try and create the right impression for my Prince…such an impression that he will never want to be without me for a second”.

Me-Me, knew immediately what she meant and so did Jenny, in a way that only beautiful girls can. It was fascinating what happened next…
