{Silver's POV}
The Nightlok were still attacking relentlessly, and I watched as Jayden charged at entire crowds of them.
"Idiot."
I muttered under my breath, but I was smiling underneath my mask. That was it.
The version of Jayden that I remember from a long time ago, I was seeing now.
I grabbed my elemental disc, and I grabbed the silver disc, and put it on my spin sword.
"Spin sword! Shadow staff!" I said, and I held my staff in my hand, and I saw the others looking at me.
I swung it up in one hand and charge the Nightlok next to Jayden, who was now using his fire smasher.
I used my shadow staff, to fell the few ones that he missed. "Nice." I said, and he looked at me.
"The fight's still going on."
He said, and I turned to help Mia, while he went to help both Emily and Mike, who looked like they were all in knots.
I finished with the Nightlok surrounding Mia, and we both ran over to help the others, as I felt the presence of a Nightlok.
A powerful one. "Jayden." I said, and he didn't look over at me, as we form a line. "I know. It's Skirt-mouth."
He said, and I looked at him. "Great." I said, and we all charged at Skirt. I was the first one to land a successful hit.
I knew that like always. Ow. Yep there it was. I thought, as I was thrown back into a building hard.
I saw Jayden and Mia defeat the Nightlok's first form, as Jayden ran to help me up. "I'm okay."
I said, and grimaced. "O.. okay. Maybe I'm not." I said, and I felt the Samurai, fade away.
"Just stay here. We're going Mega."
He said, and I grunted.
"I'm not moving." I said, and he hugged me, and I looked at him. "Go get him cub."
I said, and he shook his head, and raced off towards the Nightlok, and the rest of the Samurai leaped into their foldingzords.
I saw that Kevin and the others were getting smacked around. Mia was in her zord, but now stuck in Skirt's well skirt.
"Jayden. You're gonna need to help." I said, and winced, as I stood up. "Silver stay down. You're hurt."
Jayden said, but I was already halfway into getting in my folding zord before he could.
"Wolf Zord!"
I shouted, and he looked at me. "Still as stubborn as I remember." He said, and I looked at him.
"Right back at you cub." I said, my voice quite joking, as I followed him into the fight, along with all of the others, despite how weak I was.
Skirt-face was firing at us, and Jayden charged out in front. "Here goes!" His lion foldingzord charged out in front, and knocked into Skirt-face.
"I'll help!" I said, quite insistently, and I rammed into his skirt-mouth, and he tumbled down and back.
Not before his smack was knocking me away, hard. "Silver stand down! We can take it from here!"
Jayden said, and I groaned, as my zord faded. "I'm actually not going anywhere now."
I said, groaning and Mike helped Mia, and Jayden attacked again, with Emily next to him and helping.
Suddenly, with a hard smack, I saw Skirt-face go down, and saw Kevin's dragon foldingzord in the block form, and hit him on the head.
"Heads up."
He said, and I chuckled at his words.
"Megablade Dragon Splash!" He shouted, as it came back around at Skirt-Face.
A splash of blue fire came from the mouth of the dragon, and I smiled. I heard the lion come back around.
I looked at the foldingzord, and smiled. "You've got this Jayden." I said, and his zord roared.
"Megablade! Pentagonal Fury!"
He shouted, and I knew he must've spun the disc, because he was back in block form, with fire surrounding his zord. "Strike!"
He shouted, and the fire hit Skirt-face full on. The Nightlok fell hard, and the lion zord stopped itself, and let out a loud roar, as it fell and exploded.
"Samurai Rangers. Victory is ours."
He said, and I grunted. "Any chance any of you want to carry me?" I asked and their zords faded. "I'm coming." Jayden said, and I glared at him.
"You forgot I was here." I said to him accusingly, as he chuckled nervously at me. "Maybe."
He said, and I smacked him on the head as he scooped me up quickly, and I looked up at him.
"But thanks. For letting me stay."
I said, and he looked at me.
"I wouldn't be such a very, very good friend if I kicked you out now would I?" He asked, and I looked at him.
"Do I really have to answer that?" I asked, as we both laughed, and the rest of the team followed us home.
"What a rush. We all did good."
Emily said. "I agree." I said, from where I was on Jayden's back. "You comfy back there?" He asked.
"Can I stay up here forever? You're so tall." I said, and he chuckled at me, as I hung on gently.
"It was a piece of cake." Mike said.
"But. We still never could have done it without each other." Jayden said and I looked at him.
"Jayden is right as always. Some things, will never change." I said, and he looked at me.
"Am I always right?" He asked. "I'm not repeating that again." I said, and he laughed.
"Thanks for leading us into battle. Both of you. Silver and Jayden. You guys are such a great team, even just the two of you, on your own."
Kevin said, and I looked at him.
"The cub's got the strength, I've got the brains." I said, and Jayden looked up at me again.
"Or, maybe I have both, and you have neither." He said, and I kicked him, in the ribs.
"Ow!" He said, almost dropping me.
"Bravo." A voice said, and I smiled as I heard Mentor Ji, and Jayden turned us towards him. I got off of Jayden's back and smiled at him. "Such energy, such grace." He said, and I smiled.
"Who is that?" Mike asked.
"This is Ji, our mentor." Jayden said.
"Welcome to your new home. You have all come from different places and families. I'm very proud of how you have come together." Ji said.
"We just followed some good advice and worked as a team." Jayden said, and I leaned my head on his shoulder, and he looked at me.
"Yes you did. But you are not just any team. You are the Samurai Rangers."
I heard Ji say, and smiled, and we all turned into a group huddle of sorts, and held our zords by our sides.
"Rangers Together! Samurai Forever!"
We all shouted.
