{Silver's POV}

I was once again watching training with Jayden and Ji, I was shocked to see Mike get knocked over by Emily.

"Emily is usually the one falling over."

Ji commented. "But it's different when she has a sword in her hand." I said as he nodded.

"Maybe she can teach Mike a few things." Jayden said, while Ji and I chuckled. "A little more humility would help a bit." I said, and Jayden chuckled at me.

I saw Emily was now trying to check for injuries, and I shook my head.

"I'm going inside. I'm sorry. This is way too funny to watch." I said, and went inside.

A few minutes later, I heard a cry, and I ran into the room, and I saw that it is Emily, who was covered in frozen pea and I had no idea how.

"Not again!" I heard her say, as she slipped and landed in it. Mike shook his head, and I knocked him over.

I helped Emily up. "You okay?" I asked and she nodded. "Yeah. Just sore. Cold as well."

She said, and I gave her a small jacket.

"Go on outside. I'll clean all this up." I said, and she looked at me. "Really?" I smiled at her.

"I think also you said... That you liked playing the flutes right?"

I said and gave her a flute. "Thank you!" She said, and almost slipped on the frozen peas again.

"No problem. Now go outside." I said, and glared at Mike as I went to work cleaning up the peas, and Mia helped me.

I was eating my food in the corner of the kitchen, after she had asked me to come in to hear her play the flute.

She was now gargling water after brushing her teeth in preparation, and I sighed when I heard Mike.

"You okay?"

He asked, and she spat all of her water out hard, all over him from the surprise of it. "Sorry. Here."

She said, giving him a towel. "I'm always making a mess." She said, and I snorted.

"You should've seen Jayden and I when we were kids. It always looked like a tornado blew through."

I said, and Jayden came in.

"When we were kids." He said, and I punched him in the ribs. "Ow. I mean. Yeah we still do sometimes, if one of us sleeps on the couch."

He said, and I nodded.

"You don't have to apologize for everything you know. Everyone pitched in to clean up the peas."

Mike said, as Jayden left the room, and I washed my plate in the sink and put it in the dishwasher.

"Besides, you were just trying to help him." I said, and Mike nodded at me.

"Exactly."

He said.

"I just make everything worse. I wish I was more like Mia or you Silver. You two are both beautiful. Graceful. She's smart, she can cook. So can you."

She said.

"Well I'm not so sure about the cooking part for Mia, but yeah. I think I can manage in the kitchen. With a lot, a whole lot of help from Ji."

I said.

"It's just, every time I try to do something nice for someone, I turn it into a big mess."

Emily said, and I was walking out now, leaving them to their private talk, as I listened outside the door.

I shushed Jayden when he came by, and he raised his eyebrows. "Emily and Mike." I mouthed, and he nods.

"I'm serious Emily. It's not good to talk about yourself like that." I heard Mike say, and I smiled slightly when I heard it.

"Give yourself a break."

He said, and I walked down the opposite end of the hallway, towards my room, when Mike came out.

The Gap sensor went off. I ran off quickly with the rest of the team, and we found the location of the Nighlok pretty quick.

"Surprise!" I said, slashing down at his head. He ducked and rolled, and I had stood up again.

I was holding my sword more securely, as I saw Jayden was next to me, and the others were blocking his other direction of escape.

"Talking smack about people is not cool!" Mike said, and charged at the Nighlok.

"I know something about you!" He said, standing in front of him, clearly unafraid.

"Your bike had training wheels until you were 10!" Mike was thrown back into the building behind him.

Emily ran to him. "And you Blue Ranger! You're just boring!"

He shouted in Kevin's face, in a taunting voice, and he was sent flying back into the same building.

Mia tried to attack the Nighlok, only to get thrown back by his clear pain in our insecurities. "Lousy cook!"

He said, and she flew back, breaking the windows on the building, behind us.

It was my turn now, and I lunged out of nowhere, but he ducked and spun, until I had my back to the building.

"You are worthless. Your family hated you. You wished you'd died with them as a real ranger!"

The Nighlok shouted loudly at me.

I was thrown back into the building, and I felt the tears quickly welling up in my helmet.

I forced them back, but I couldn't get up again.

"Keep your guard up. This one is tricky." Jayden said, going for his power disk, but the Nighlok was knocking it away.

"You're a red faced liar liar pants on fire! You've got a secret!" He yelled.

I heard a blast, and Jayden was next to me, groaning, stuck to the wall like thing behind us.

"Jayden! Silver!" Emily cried. "Look out!" Jayden said. "Now it's just down to you!" The Nighlok said to Emily.

"Your words won't faze me. Jayden has nothing to hide! Silver isn't any type of worthless!" Emily snapped.

"You're just a mean mouthed monster spouting nothing but nonsense!" She's attacking the Nighlok, and he ducked, avoiding her swings, but couldn't use his words to send her back.

"If my words weren't true! They wouldn't send people back like they do! So here's one for you!" He said.

"Airhead!" He shouted, but she didn't get blasted, and instead she got a hard hit on him. "Jayden."

I said, nudging him, and he watched with me. "You're a clumsy fool!" The Nighlok tried again, but Emily just hit him again.

"Klutz!" "Dimwit!" "Whiner!" He shouted insult after insult, but Emily didn't stop attacking.

"Why can't he hurt her?"

Mike asked. "Hell if I know!"

Jayden said, and we all got up as fast as we could, which was not fast at all, and he helped me up.

I felt like I was a shattered glass, completely empty, but with shards everywhere.

"This one will work! Everyone loves to tease you!" Emily just spun hard, her spin sword, and it was her Earth Splicer that she held now.

"Take that!" She said, throwing it at him, and it slashed him twice and it sent him flying.

"I cut people down. Not you!" The Nighlok said. "What's her deal?! I'd better go vent somewhere else!"

He quickly disappeared back into the Netherworld, where he belonged. "Go ahead and run you loudmouth! I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of that creep."

She said, and we all walked away.
