(Jeon Jungkook's POV)

What kind of stupid scam did I get myself into?! My night out at the bar talking to, what I thought was a woman who knew my pain, ended up being a scam artist. And now?! I'm married to her!

Jungkook: "Who are you?!" I demanded her to answer. I wasn't someone to be toyed with, and I was going to make sure she knew it. Had she never heard of the name 'Jeon Jungkook' before?!

Y/n: "I told you already! My name is Park Y/n! I'm not a scam artist! You are! You told me lies to get into my pants! And now look! I have this on my finger!" She held up her ring finger, which had a plain gold ring. No large rock, not diamonds around it. So not something I would ever pick out for my betrothed. She had to be lying! I hate to admit it, but her tears threw me off. I had a hard time believing her. Yet, something inside of me was telling me that she was telling the truth about who she is. That didn't stop me from collecting her things and throwing her out. Like hell, I would sit back and let her take control over me. Not happening!

(Office)

The door opened to my office, and Jimin stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame.

Jungkook: "What do you want?"

Jimin: "Why are you working right now?" he asked me, his brows furrowed.

Jungkook: "Because there are things to be done." I told him, growing bitter. He shouldn't be standing there. I was his boss, so I could whatever the hell I wanted to do. "Why are you here?!" I didn't even look up from my work as I questioned him.

Jimin: "Because you're notorious for working, and I wouldn't want you to be working hard after your wedding." My body went stiff. I looked up at him, his face was serious and I felt my stomach sink. He knew?!

Jungkook: "You know?"

Jimin: "About the girl and marriage last night? Of course. I was your best man." A small smirk started to form on his lips. I couldn't believe it!

Jungkook: "You didn't think to stop me?!" I growled, standing to my feet in rage. "She's a scam artist!"

Jimin: "Y/n is?" he raised a brow. "I don't think so. I checked into her earlier today." This all didn't make sense.

Jungkook: "Explain." I demanded. Damn him and his CIA back round. I guess it came in handy for a time like this, but stat still didn't lighten the blow. Sighing, he walked over and sat in one of the nice chairs I had set up for clients. Crossing his legs, he leaned back and got comfortable.

Jimin: "Last night, we all got trashed. You know that. When you went off and started talking to that woman, you had too many drinks. Of course, we loved seeing you like that, and we couldn't make smart choices either so we encouraged it. You guys talked for hours. Finally, we had to leave, but you guys pulled me aside and said you had some "special plan". Then I vaguely remember going with you and being a witness to you both eloping." I groaned and ran my hand through my back hair.

Jungkook: "You've got to be kidding me!"

Jimin: "Nope, sorry boss." He chuckled lightly. "It's pretty crazy, but I checked into her. You'll never believe who you just got hitched with."

Jungkook: "Can't be any worse than a scam artist." I snorted. I sat back down in my chair and rubbed my eyes with my hand.

Jimin: "Yes, it can." He smirked. "She's the personal assistant to none other than Kim Namjoon."

(Park Y/n's POV) (HOME)

I've been used and I couldn't shake the horrible darkness that was slowly taking over my soul. First, Namjoon getting married, and then me being an idiot and sleeping with a stranger...no wait...I mean marrying a stranger. I lifted my hand and studied the simple but beautiful ring that was still on my finger. I already screwed my life over so I couldn't help but keep it on and stare at it. The ring was exactly my style. Simple. Beautiful. And elegant. I was surprised to find this of all rings on me.

Wait, what the hell was I saying?! I quickly pulled off the ring. Walking over, I opened a drawer in the kitchen and shoved it in. After the way, he treated me this morning?! How could I be complimenting his choice?! Let alone thinking about him?! I jumped as the phone began to ring. I sighed and walked over to it and froze as I read the words on the screen.

Namjoon.

Of all people to be calling me right now. I swallowed hard and went to reach for it when suddenly there was a knock at my door. I cursed and looked between the two areas. The door? Or Namjoon? Sighing, I decided to leave my phone and answer the door. Opening it, I found a large, intimidating man that I didn't know standing there. He was wearing all black and had a frown on his face.

Y/n: "May I help you?" I asked, a bit concerned.

Man: "Are you Y/n? Mr.Park's daughter?" My stomach seemed to turn at the mention of my father.

Y/n: "Yes, that's me."

Man: "May I come in?" he asked suddenly. "This is regarding the debt he left." Still feeling uneasy, I opened the door wider.

Y/n: "Sure, if it won't take long. I was going out to meet with my boss for work." I lied.

Man: "It won't take long." his deep voice made chills run up my spine. Nodding, I let him in and I watched him walk in and scan my apartment. I closed the door behind me, feeling like something bad was about to happen. Anytime my father was mentioned, it never ended well. I stayed close to the front door though. Just in case. "My boss is worried that you won't be able to make the payments."

Y/n: "Oh, I'm still making them. I'll be sure they're paid." I swallowed.

Man: "Is that so?" he turned and looked at me and I nodded. "My boss is requiring that you put a down payment on the debt your father owed to give him the confidence that things will be taken care of." My eyes went wide and I took a step back towards the door behind me.

Y/n: "A down payment? Doesn't my word mean anything?"

Man: "No, not after your father promised us and gave us nothing." His dark eyes glared at me.

Y/n: "How much then?"

Man: "$50,000" I lost my breath.

Y/n: "50-I don't have that right now! I'm barely able to make the payments each month at what you've set!"

Man: "Oh, that's bad." he came closer and I found myself against the door. My heart races and I felt so scared. "He needs his money."

Y/n: "I-I told you I don't have-" His hands instantly made contact with my face. The pain hit me quick and hard when his hand grabbed my chin and yanked it towards him, a click of a gun was heard then against my throat. I thought I was about to die. Was this really how I was gonna spend my last moments? In fear and with a horrible man I didn't even know?

Man: "You have one month to put that down payment in my hands, or else. Understood?" I tried to not allow my tears to fall, but they started to despite my demands. I could feel his rough hands creating more bruises and the barrel of the gun pressed against my throat was more than I could handle.

Y/n: "Y-yes..." I whispered.

Man: "Good." With that, he released me and I fell to the floor, holding my chest and face as he exited my apartment. I began to sob.

Not knowing what to do, and being scared for my life, I got up, ran to the drawer in my kitchen and pulled out my ring. I grabbed my purse and my picture frame and quickly left my apartment without looking back.
