(Park Y/n'sPOV)

So far, things had gone good this morning. My heart still ached, but I found myself keeping busy and was happy to see that Jungkook was now eating the breakfast I had made for him. He didn't say much since he had tried waking me up super early. I was not a morning person. Yes, I slept in till the very last minute but I had a system and living with Jungkook wouldn't change that.

Y/n: "Oh." I said, as I watched him finish his food and I had eaten the rest of my own. "Before I forget, here." I pulled out his credit card and held it out to him. He raised a brow and sipped at his coffee before he reached out and took the card back.

Jungkook: "Did you get everything you need?" he asked.

Y/n: "Yeah, for the most part. Thank you, I appreciate it." He nodded and tucked it into his pocket with questioning. I furrowed my brows and waited for him to ask how much I spent, but it never came. "Aren't you going to ask how much I spent?" He shrugged.

Jungkook: "Not really. I'll just check the report today." I frowned.

Y/n: "Why would you do that when I could just tell you?" He raised a brow and looked at me.

Jungkook: "You kept track of it?"

Y/n: "Why wouldn't I?"

Jungkook: "Fine then, how much?"

Y/n: "A hundred and forty." He stopped and thought about it for a moment. Oh no. Did I go over what he thought I should've spent?

Jungkook: "A hundred and forty what?"

Y/n: "Dollars, what else?"

Jungkook: "That's it?" I wasn't expecting that question? Peeking beside me to look at him, I didn't quite understand.

Y/n: "You were expecting more? We never established a budget, so I assumed a $150 was a good start and if it's too much, then I could always pay you back."

Jungkook: "There wasn't a budget." he stated, causing my stomach to drop.

Y/n: "You can't be serious." I gulped, and I couldn't seem to look away from him. His eyes said he spoke the truth, and I honestly didn't think he had that much money to burn. Who in the world did I marry?

Jungkook: "I'm always serious." He replied. "I'm used to my Ex going out and changing quite a bit to my card each week. So you're telling me that the outfit you're wearing right now is...how much?" His handsome face scanned my body up and down and I looked back at the dishes and blushed lightly. 😳

Y/n: "This outfit? About $15.

Jungkook: "Huh?" he seemed to ponder. "That's strange. Your outfit doesn't look much different than the one she bought for close to $1000. I gasped and dropped the fork I started cleaning. My eyes darted to him in disbelief.

Y/n: "You go to be shitting me! A thousand dollars?! For one outfit?!" He frowned in disappointment.

Jungkook: "Yes, and she bought a couple at a time."

Y/n: "Each year?!" I asked, afraid of the answer. Jungkook sighed.

Jungkook: "Each week." All the air in my lungs disappeared.

Y/n: "You let her waste your money like that?!" I asked in a whisper. With his Ex spending so much money on such things, I could've already paid off all my fathers' debt by now. How could one be so wasteful?!

Jungkook: "No, I didn't let her. She did it behind my back. I got the bills at the end of the month and put a stop to it for a while. She found ways for it, hence why I make it a habit of just checking my records each day." My eyes scanned this unknown man I had called my husband. So first, he was a stranger and now he was a rich stranger? This couldn't possibly get any more crazy.

Y/n: "Well just so you know, I'm nothing like that. I'm all about budgets and saving money."

Jungkook: "That's refreshing." I nodded at his statement. Sighing, I looked down at my watch and groaned.

Y/n: "We better get going." As if on cue, my phone went off with a notification. I groaned and picked it up. "Speak of the devil," I grumbled as I read the text.
