From the light of the moon

Glistening light

And sunlit dew

Shines in the night

...

Sparkling grass

With every drop

The sunlight catches

It’s a dewdrop

The rain starts to pour

Drops hit my skin

Flowers turn down

Light is now dim

Drops on my flesh

It colors the night

The sun starts to come out

Bring with it light

The sun glistens

A rainbow is born

Everything beautiful

A flower is torn

It drips as it soaks

In the light of the sun

The showers are over

Their finally done

But, look, a cloud

It threatens rain

Its an endless cycle

It brings with it pain

Tears on my face

Mix with the drops

Of the cooling rain

It never stops

When the clouds start to part

The sun goes away

Along with it

Goes the day

The moon is out

Its time to sleep

Maybe I’ll go to bed

And not count some sheep...
