Chapter 17

Toni P.O.V
When we reached the student lounge I immediately got big hugs from Sweet Pea and Fangs and Jug. I winched but still hugged them back.
"I missed you guys to." I said as they let me go.
"Sorry about that. Didn't mean to hurt you Tiny." Sweets said.
"It's okay." I said and smiled. I made my way to the couch and sat next to Cheryl.
"So Toni how are you feeling?" Betty asked me.
"I'm okay. I mean I'm still alive." I said and nodded in agreement. The bell rang. And we all headed to our first hour class. I grabbed my English books and all of my worksheets Cheryl gave me. Me and Cheryl walked together to class hand in hand. Everybody was giving us jealous looks. I smiled to my self knowing that everybody wanted to have Cheryl. But can't have her because she's mine. When I entered the classroom I gave all my make up work to the teacher. He nodded and said thank you. I nodded and saw that Cheryl was saving me a seat. I made my way to the seat and sat down. The hour was going pretty slow. I decided to go on my phone. I was scrolling through Instagram until I got a text. From Cheryl.
Cheryl: Did you take your pain killers yet?
I rolled my eyes and smiled at her and texted back.
Me: No be because I'm not in pain. I feel perfectly fine.
Cheryl: Okay but make sure to take it today.
Me: I will don't worry. And by the way I forgot to mention that you look absolutely gorgeous. I can barely focus on anything. 😍
Cheryl: Awww Thanks TT. You look stunning as well.
I looked at Cheryl and Cheryl looked at me I winked at her. And she blushed. And looked back at her phone. And but her lip.
Me: Don't bight your lip you know what that does to me.
Cheryl: Control yourself daddy we're in school.
Me: I don't give a shit if we're in school. I ain't no little bitch.
Cheryl: Control your self or I'm going to make you wait in extra two weeks. Before you hit this again.😑
Me: you wouldn't dare.
Cheryl: Oh but I would. Try me.
I looked at her in disbelief. She smirked at me and went back on her phone. I shook my head and went back on Instagram. When the bell finally rang I grabbed my stuff and waited for Cheryl. We left the classroom together. We each went to our own lockers. I replaced my English books for my math ones. As I closed my locker some guy bumped into me. And made me drop everything.
"Watch where you going!" I shouted as I was holding my side in pain.
"S-Sorry my bad." The boy said picking up my books and handing them to me.
"Thanks."'I muttered and grabbed my stuff. I waked to my math class and saw that Cheryl was already in a seat. I handed my teacher my makeup assignments and sat next to Cheryl. Since I was ahead in all my classes. I decided to just draw. As I was drawing I felt a tap on my left shoulder. I looked up and saw Cheryl looking at me.
"What?" I whispered trying not to get caught by the teacher.
"What are you drawing?" Cheryl whispered back. I lifted up my pice if paper. To show her my drawing.

"Oh my god Toni that's amazing." Cheryl whispered.
"Thanks. But I'm not done." I said.
"Yeah I know you need to shade." Cheryl said. I looked at her with a confused face.
"You draw?" I asked her.
"Yeah. I don't do it as much as I used to tho." Cheryl said.
"How come you never told me?" I asked her.
"You never asked." Cheryl said. I nodded and continued to draw. A couple of minutes passed and I felt my side started to hurt.
"Fuck." I mumbled as I grabbed my side. I grabbed my little backpack. I looked through my backpack until I found my water bottle. I placed it on my desk and kept searching for my pain killers. When I finally found them I opened the cap. Cheryl looked at me with concern. I gave her a reassuring smile and took out two pills.
"Ms.Topaz. You can't have medication on you. You either have to go to the nurse to take that or it have to be confiscated." The math teacher said. Everybody eyes were on me now.
"Theses are my pain killers." It told the teacher with annoyance in my voice.
"Do you have a doctors note to confirm that?" The teacher asked me.
"Yeah. I already gave it to the principal." I said getting annoyed.
"Well unless I see that note you need to put that away." The teacher said in a commanding voice. I rolled my eyes and took them anyways.
"Ms. To-" I interrupted her.
"I just have a question for you. Were you stabbed? Did you get shot in the stomach?Did you have somebody kick you in the ribs repeatedly and breaking them? And is your whole stomach covered in bruises?"I asked the teacher.
"No." The teacher replied.
"Then don't tell me when and when I can't take my medicine. And about that doctors note call the principal right now. And ask him if I gave him my doctors note. Since you don't believe me." I said angrily. The whole classroom was quiet.
"My apologies ms. Topaz." The teacher said and continued to teach the class. I rolled my eyes and continued to draw. When the bell rang I grabbed my things and headed to my locker. I placed everything in my locker and headed to Cheryl locker. Me,Cheryl,Sweets,Fangs,Jug,Archie,Veronica, and Betty had a free period.
"Hey are you Okay?" Cheryl asked me once I reached her locker.
"Yeah I'm annoyed." I said and wrapped my hands around her waist. Cheryl wrapped her hands around my neck and she kissed me .
"Ready to go to the student lounge?" Cheryl asked me.
"Yep." I said popping the P. Cheryl smiled and intertwined our hands. When we reached the lounge Sweets called me over. I let go of Cheryl's hand and went to were.Jug,Fangs and Sweet Pea we're at.
"What's going on?" I asked my best friends.
"My dad just called and the ghoulies said that they want to fight. So my dad and the rest of the serpents and the ghoulies are trying to find a time,place, and date. And they are also betting the fight on you. So if we win they'll back off. But if they win they get you." Jughead said. I ran my hand through my hair. And sighed.
"This is bad. Knowing the ghoulies they'll try to pick an early date. They know I'm still recovering. And then next thing you know if we win the fight. The ghoulies kidnap me or Cheryl or one of you. Just to get me." I said and rubbed my temples.
"Carajo!" I shouted. And I saw Veronica stare at me
with a shocked expression on her face. But I left before she could say anything.I left the student lounge and went to the bleachers. I sat at the top bleacher and put me face in my hand. Moments later I heard the gym door open. I didn't bother looking up knowing it was going to be Cheryl. And I was right,I felt her soft hands on my shoulder.
"TT are you okay?" Cheryl asked me. With concern in her voice.As she sat down next to me. I sighed and looked at her.
"No,not really." I said looking back down to my feet.
"What's wrong?" Cheryl asked me as she grabbed my hand.
"You remember when FP called for all of the serpents to go in his office?" I asked Cheryl who nodded.
"We were talking about to how we need to get ready to fight and trying to make a plan. But we couldn't figure one out. So we left. And Today FP called Jughead and said that the Ghoulies want to fight. But the ghoulies are fighting for me. Which means that if the serpents win then they'll back off of me. But if they win then they get me. But what I'm scared about is that we win. And the Ghoulies don't back off and they try something dangerous." I explained to Cheryl. Cheryl looked at me with a worried look on her face. She cupped my face and gave me a passionate kiss.
"Babe nothing bad is going to happen. You'll win the fight and the Ghoulies will run like the little  bitches that they are."Cheryl said making me smile.
"Thank you Cheryl." I said and gave her another passionate kiss.
"I love you." I said. Cheryl smiled at me.
"I love you to." Cheryl replied. Me and Cheryl left the gym and went back to the student lounge. Once we entered the student lounge Veronica looked at me.
"What?" I asked her.
"So were just going to pretend that, you speaking Spanish didn't happen?" Veronica asked me. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the arm chair. And Cheryl sat down on my lap.
"Antoinette Topaz how do you know Spanish?" Veronica asked. And Betty and Archie nodded in agreement.
"It's not that big of a deal." I said and rubbed Cheryl thigh.
"It is for me. Because then I can actually have a conversation with someone in a different language. It'll boost our friendship." Veronica said I sighed and rubbed my head.
"I'm Puerto Rican." I said. And Veronica,Betty, and Archie looked at me with shocked faces.
"Wait you guys knew this?!" Betty asked. As everybody seemed not shocked at all.
"Yeah we knew Toni since we were all like three." Fangs said.
"And I found out last night." Cheryl said.
"How come you ever spoken it during school?" Veronica asked me.
"I have but the only people who heard me was Fangs,Sweets, and Jug." I said. As I pointed at the guys.
"OH GOD IM SO EXCITED!!!" Veronica shouted. I playfully rolled my eyes. And We kept talking. Until the bell rang. We all headed to lunch. We decided to eat outside. We were having a fun conversation.
"Toni I forgot to tell you this but,thanks for paying my hospital bill. Even tho you didn't need to." Veronica said smiling.
"No problem. It was the least I could do." I said and took a bite of my sandwich.
"Hey Toni can I talk to you?" Chad asked me.
"About what?" I replied.
"I just wanted to apologize to you. I was acting like a dick that day. And I'm sorry for fighting you twice." Chad said with his hand in his pocket.
"Apology excepted." I said to chad. Chad smiled and left.
"Wow chad never apologized to anybody before." Cheryl said with a shocked voice. I just shrugged and went to grab my sandwich. But it wasn't there. I looked at Jughead his moth was full of food.
"What the hell jughead. Did you eat my sandwich?" I asked him.
"No Sweets did." Jughead said with a mouth full of food.
"No he didn't because he doesn't have a mouth full of food. Nobody does but you." I pointed out. Everybody body nodded and Jughead swallowed my sandwich.
"You bitch you own me a sandwich." I said and everybody laughed.
"Con calma. It's just a sandwich." Veronica said.
"I don't think you understand how much this happens." Sweet Pea said.
"When he's not eating everything in Betty's fridge. He's in my house eating my fridge." I said staring down Jughead.
"True Jughead you have a problem." Archie said. We all continued to have friendly conversation. Until we had to go to our next class. Me and Cheryl sat next To each other in science class. I gave my makeup assignment to the teacher and played on my phone. Eventually school ended and Cheryl had vixen practice.
"Can I watch?" I asked Cheryl as I leaned to the locker next to her.
"Practice?" Cheryl asked me.
"Yeah." I said.
"If you want to. But I'm warning you right now. It's going to feel like I'm teasing you." Cheryl said and ran her index finger over my jaw. I smirked and went to go sit on the bleachers.
