Toni's P.O.V

I woke to being back in the hospital bed. I groaned and looked around the room and saw that I was alone. Then the memories of me taking to my uncle flooded in.
"Tell me everything from the beginning." I
said with a straight face.
"Well the thing is Toni,your father made a deal that went bad-"
"What I though you said that you made the deal and dad wouldn't help you,cause mom told him not to?" I asked confused.
"I only said that because I wanted to protect whatever hero image you had of your father. But now that you want to know the truth I'm not holding back. So anyways back to the story,your father had a client his name was Zain. And that client was the highest drug dealer in the world. But your father has always been a little bit nieve,and thought that he delivered medicine instead of drugs. So once I told him the truth he stared to say how I was jealous of him,and how I wanted to take over the company. Which wasn't true,but he still would listen to me, so I decided to have a private meeting with his new business partner. But since he was a drug lord obviously things went south. And I asked your father to break the contract and leave while all of us could still breath. But he refused and once Zain tried to kill all of us,that was the day your father placed you in the car and everything went down. And I'm sorry I treated you like shit, I know I already said it,but I feel like it didn't get through you." My uncle said and I looked up at him with tears in my eyes.
"You know I had a fight with them today,I ran from the hospital." I told him and his eyes went wide.
"Toni are you crazy?!" He whispered shouted at me.
"I got mad and left, they didn't even try to reach or find me. But they did for Sofia." I said and he sighed and held my hand.
"Hey no touching!" A prison guard shouted at me.
"Fuck off!" Me and my uncle shouted at the same time.
"I told them that I hired 12 private investigators to find them. I tried everything I could to see if they were still alive somewhere. And all they did was be a happy family without me." I said and wiped my tears.
"I know this probably won't mean anything coming from me. And honestly this will sound rude and hurtful. But even I put more effort to find you when you tried to hide from me all those years ago." He said and I chucked a little bit.
"Yeah and that's the saddest part." I replied back.
"Can I ask you a question Tom?" I asked and he nodded.
"Did you really hate the fact that I like girls?" I asked and he looked at our hands.
"No it was just a thing I could attack you for and make you feel worthless. I'm sorry I ever said that." He said and gripped his hair. I walked over to his side and hugged him.
"Hey I said no touching!" The guard yelled.
"And I told you to fuck off!" I yelled back and he rolled his eyes. My uncle chucked and hugged me back.
"Wow you certainly got your mouth from me." He smiled and I agreed.
Then the memory was gone. And I looked down at my hands and saw that I had cuffs on. But not like police cuffs, but I was the leather type cuffs that you use on crazy people. I freaked out and tried to get them off of me,but it didn't work. I yanked on them,but a soft voice stopped me from yanking on them.
"Don't do that baby,your going to hurt yourself." My nurse said as she came to my room with dinner.
"W-why are the c-cuffs on me... A-And why do I feel loopy?" I asked and laid my head back. I could barely speak right.
"Your mom put you on a special sedative. It follows your heart rate,if you start to get anxious,nervous,or freak out the sedative will kick in and relax you. Now opened up baby." She said and I slowly opened my mouth. Once she finished feeding me, my mom came in and took the cuffs off of me and took out all the needles and all the monitors off my chest. I was too weak to say something or stop her,so I let her carry me. And place me in the tub.
"I'm sorry we had to do this to you Anto-Toni,but you ran away from the hospital. And me and your father both love you. We just want you safe." She kept explaining as she washed me. After my bath she dried me up and placed on my Pj's. Then my dad came in,I squinted my eyes and he patted my head.
"Hey mariposa,sorry but the cuffs got to come back on." He said and carried me back to my bed. When he placed me in the bed I struggled a little bit. I moved my hands and thrashed my feet.
"Nooo I don't want the c-cuffs..please p-papi." I whimpered and kept moving my hands.
"Toni please stop,I don't want to this anymore you don't want this on you." My dad said and placed then cuffs on,then my mom placed the IV's, the sedative and the monitors back all on me. After my parents were done they kissed my cheek,and turned to leave. But I grabbed both of their pinkies and brought their hands to my face. Tears ran down my cheek and both of my parents were crying to.
"We know your sorry honey,but we forgive you. And plus we should be the ones saying sorry." My mom said and kissed my forehead.
"We're so sorry Toni,we really are. We hope with time you can learn to forgive us." My dad said and kissed my forehead and they left my room and turned off the lights. But before they closed my door,they turned back around and smiled at me.
"Good night Toni sleep tight,we love you." They both said and closed my door as they left. The only light in my room was the streetlights. But other than that it was pitch black in my room and that made me anxious. I started to breath heavily I tried to sit up but I was so weak because of the sedatives. And since I was anxious the big machine next to me started to give me a stronger dose of the sedative. Eventually I gave up and looked out the window,and fell asleep.
The next morning
I woke up to the sun shining right in my eyes. I tried to cover my eyes,but my hand was stopped by something. I looked down as realized it was the cuffs. I freak out and sat up and pulled on the cuffs. I started to yank on the cuffs hard but they would budge. I bit on them and tried to take them off,but they still wouldn't budge. As I was going to try and take off the cuffs again, I felt weak and I knew the seductive was kicking in. So I lifted up my right arm and bit the tube and took it off my arm. But then I got frustrated and laid back down and arched my back and raised my hands with force. As I did that my door opened and two random nurses came in. They saw that i was trying to get out of the cuffs and one of them placed her hand on my chest and tried to relax me.
"Hey,hey,shh, shh,everything is okay.Your fine,your safe." She said in a low and gentle voice. And while she was doing that the other nurse placed the sedative needle back in me and I instantly calmed down.
"Hey nothing is going to hurt you okay, we're here to help you." The nurse said and placed my hair in a bun. I softly lifted my arm and showed her the cuffs.
"Yeah there there for your protection,they have to stay on." She explained and I whimpered and tugged again.
"No don't do that." The other nurse said in a soft voice and she smiled at me once I looked at her.
"We just came over here to tell you that your girlfriend is here,isn't that exciting?" The nurse asked me and I nodded.
"Then why do you look so sad?" The other nurse asked me.
"Cuffs....I don't like em." I mumbled in a low voice.
"I know but maybe if you behave we can take them off." She said and I they both left and let Cheryl in.
"Good morning TT." Cheryl said and kissed me on the lips and I kissed back slowly.
"What's wrong?" Cheryl asked me.
"My parents put cuffs on me,and they won't let the staff take them off of me. And my mom put me on a sedative that calms me down when I'm freaking out,anxious or mad." I explained with a sad face.
"Aww I'm sorry my love,how about I take off one of your cuffs. Right or left." She asked me.
"Both." I replied and she smiled but shook her head.
"No Toni you have to choose." Cheryl said and I tugged in my left hand.
"Ok left it is." Cheryl said and took it off. Cheryl rubbed my wrist and kissed it.
"I'm sorry I made your worried." I said slowly.
"It's okay baby,just don't do it again." Cheryl said softly and held my hand.
"C-can you take off the sedative?" I asked Cheryl and she bit her lip.
"I don't know if I can do that. Your parents already told me not to take off you cuffs." Cheryl said and groaned.
"I hate it.. it slows everything down. I..can't even talk right." I said and took a deep breath after saying that sentence.
"How about I find your parents,and they can take it off." Cheryl said and I nodded but didn't let go of her hand. Cheryl looked back at me,and smiled and took my hand off of hers.
"I'll be right back." She said and kissed my nose and left to find my parents. I looked over to my left and saw Cheryl's purse. I leaned over and grabbed her purse,once I opened her purse. I took out her phone,and called mine. I heard a low vibration but I couldn't find out where it came from. I sighed and placed her phone back in the purse and sighed. I reached over to my right and took off the cuff and took of the sedative tube. And then I pulled off the blanket and stood up,which made me dizzy.My legs felt weak but I held on the bed and slowly made my way to the bathroom. I opened the door and turned on the light. After I closed the door I saw toothbrush and toothpaste. I took them both and brushed my teeth. After brushing my teeth I heard Cheryl shout my name.
"Toni where are you?!" I heard my mom shout. I took a deep breath and shouted back at them.
"In the bathroom!" After I shouted that they opened the door and saw my me rinsing out my mouth.
"How did you get out of the cuffs?" My dad asked me.
"I might have took one off for her." Cheryl said and both of my parents looked at her and sighed.
"I know you told me not to,but she looked so sad and helpless laying there. And that sedative wasn't helping her either." Cheryl said and I looked at my mom who had some clothes in her hands. I grabbed the sweatpants and white T-shirt and closed the door again.
"Wait Toni do you need help?" Cheryl asked me and I nodded and opened the door and she walked in. She took off my pj shirt and placed my new one on. Then I took off my pants and Cheryl helped me place it on. Once I was dressed, I kissed Cheryl's cheek.
"I love you." I said and she smiled.
"I love you to." Cheryl replied and opened the door. I slowly walked back to my bed and Cheryl raised my bed so I'd be in a sitting position. I sat back in the bed and crossed my arms.
"I don't want the cuffs or the sedative." I said as I looked at my mom who had the need in her hand.
"Then promise you won't leave the hospital. Or did your forget that your still injured." My mom said and I nodded. She put the sedative down and I sighed.
"When can I go home?" I asked and my parents who were looking at my chart looked up at me.
"Well we have to make sure that your healed up all the way." My dad said to me.
"What do you mean healed all the way up,I feel fine and I didn't pop my stitches. The only thing is that I still feel weak." I said and my mom sighed.
"I'm sorry Toni,but that sedative was for your-" She started to say but I cut her off.
"It's for my protection yeah I know." I said and crossed my arms.
"Uncle Tom told me truth about everything." I said and my parents looked down.
"How come you didn't break it off when you had the chance?" I asked my father and he didn't answer me.
"Because I was nieve, and I had something to prove." He said in a low and ashamed voice. I hummed and looked at Cheryl.
"Do you know where my phone is?" I asked her and she nodded and took my phone out of a nightstand drawer.
"Thank you my love." I said and took my phone.
"Mami you didn't answer my question." I told her and she sat in my bed.
"Well your all healed up, so we can take you back home with us today if you want." She said and I shook my head.
"I want to go back to my trailer." I said my parents went quiet and nodded.
"Well I'll get the paperwork all ready." She said and left the room. And my dad soon followed.
"Baby are you sure you want to go back to the trailer?" Cheryl asked me and I nodded.
"I just need time you clear my head with all this new information." I said and she nodded but I could tell she wanted to say more.
"Do you want to say something els?" I asked her and she nodded.
"Yes,I do because you have parents who want to be there for you. Yes they made mistakes in the past,but there here now and that's all that matters. Go home with them and let them be there for you." Cheryl said and I sighed.
"Fine,but where are you going?" I asked her.
"Well I have to go,back to court to get an emancipated." Cheryl said.
"How come you didn't tell me, I wanted to be there with you." I said and looked at my hands.
"Toni honey you were dealing with your own problems. And I didn't want to bother you with mine." Cheryl said and held my hand. I sighed and kissed her hand.
"But can I be with you,today?" I asked Cheryl and she smiled and shook her head.
"Toni you need to rest,I'll tell you about it when I come back." She told me and I sighed.
"I'm fine I didn't pop my stitches." I said and lifted up my shirt to show Cheryl who sighed.
"I'm sorry Toni but I said no." Cheryl said and I got frustrated.
"Don't talk to me like that." I said angrily.
"Like what?" Cheryl asked confused.
"Like I'm and kid,I'm not a kid, don't talk to me like I am one." I said in a mad voice. Cheryl looked shocked and I sighed and ran my fingers ran through my hair.
"I'm sorry,I didn't mean it." I said and brought my knees to my face, and hugged myself. I felt Cheryl hug me and rubbed my arm.
"I know,and I'm sorry you just been through a lot. And I didn't want to sound rude,when I talked to you." Cheryl said and I looked up at her and pushed her down and laid on her.
"I'm so tired." I said and Cheryl ran her fingers through my hair.
"Then go to sleep." She told me.
"I can't." I said and Cheryl began to scratch my neck and started to hum. And I instantly feel asleep. I woke up to Cheryl taking pictures of us.
"Why are you taking photos?" I asked her and she giggled and put her phone away.
"Cause you looked so cute sleeping on my chest,it be a crime not take one." Cheryl said and showered me with kisses. I laughed and moved her fade away form mine. I heard somebody clear their throat and I looked up to see my parents.
"We got the paper work done,so you can go back to your trailer. My mom said and I smiled and nodded.
"Cheryl just need you to sign the papers saying that you'll be looking after her." My mom said and Cheryl shook her head.
"I'm not looking out for her,you guys are." Cheryl said and I nodded. And my mom looked at me weird.
"What figured out what life is like without me, and you don't want me?" I said with a smirk and my parents stuttered over their words.
"I'm kidding,Cheryl knocking some since into me. I want to go home."I said and my parents smiled. And they both signed the papers handed it to the nurse at the desk.
"Well we should get going then." My dad said and I nodded and got out of bed.
"But I need clothes,so can we stop by my trailer?" I asked but Cheryl stepped in.
"No need I already had Sweet Pea and Fangs bring your clothes with you,along with your PS4." Cheryl said and I sighed.
"You made sure they didn't break it right,cuz they broke my last one." I said and Cheryl smiled and shook her head.
"Don't worry they didn't actually carry it I had Jughead do it." Cheryl said and I gasped.
"That's worse,Jughead was the one who broke my first PS4." I groaned but took a deep breath.
"I'm just glad she's safe and sound. And not injured or traumatized."  I said and Cheryl rose a brow at me.
"What?" I asked her.
"She?" Cheryl asked me and I chucked.
"Toni are you cheating on me?" Cheryl asked with a smirk and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh shut up your so dramatic." I said and she giggled and I placed my Vans on and we left the hospital. My parents drove us home and I opened the door and walked up the stairs to my room. Where I heard giggles of two people. I rose as brow and opened Sofia room. Where she was sitting in her bed with a random boy.
She stopped giggling me and jumped off her and bed and hugged me.
"Hey Sofia,how are you?" I asked her and she smiled and kissed my cheek.
"I'm fine,Toni this is my friend Alex." Sofia said and I nodded my head at the kid who looked nervous.
"Sofia can I talk to you in my room?" I asked her and she nodded and told Alex we'd be back. Once we got to my room I smiled at her.
"Is that your boyfriend?" I asked and she blushed and shook her head.
"No he's just a friend." She said and I chucked.
"Yeah that's what I said about Cheryl. And look at us now." I said and she blushed.
"Don't worry I won't tell dad. Go get him." I said and patted her shoulder and she ran out of my room. I smiled and laid on my bed and scrolled through my phone. Eventually I got bored and decided to spy on my little sister. I left my room and locked placed my ear on the door. I heard them sigh and then giggle,which made me raise a brow.
"Well I got to go,before my mom kills me." I heard Alex say and I heard both of them get off the bed. I got up and stood in front of the door so I could intimidate Alex. He opened the door but didn't realize I was standing there.
"Bye beautiful I'll see you later." He said and looked up at saw me. I had my arms crossed over my chest and I had a straight face. He gulped and I loved moved out the way, and he ran out the house.
"Toni stop being mean." Sofia said and pushed me. I rolled my eyes and smiled,and walked in her room and closed the door.
"So what happened?" I asked and she told me everything from how he asked her out and how they shared a little kiss on her bed. By the end of the story we were both smiling. I dabbed her up and got off the bed.
"That's what I'm taking about." I said and my dad walked I the room.
"What are we talking about?" He asked us.
"Nothing." Sofia said and looked away.
"Sofia who was that boy here,and why was he in your room?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Papi leave her alone,it's not that of a big deal." I said and he looked at me and then looked at Sofia.
"We'll talk about this later." He said and we both rolled our eyes and I left her room. I saw Cheryl in my room placing a bag on my bed.
"Hey baby this is the rest of you stuff, but I have to head out. I've got to be on time." Cheryl said and kissed my cheek and left my room before I could say anything. I sighed and walked to my bed and opened the bag and saw, all my books and my camera in there. I smiled and placed my books on a little self I have in my room. And I placed my camera on desk and laid on my bed. I grabbed my PS4 controller and played call of duty. After playing for a while I grabbed my clothes and took a nice warm shower. I got out and put on a black Nike shirt with blacks Nike shorts,and laid on my bed.
