The day my life changed.

Chapter 23

Toni P.O.V
I woke up at 5:30 I couldn't go back to sleep. I unwrapped my self from Cheryl grip. I got out of bed and went to Cheryl bathroom. I splashed my face with cold water. I looked myself in the mirror and saw Cheryl shifting around the bed. I dried my face off and went, back to Cheryl room. I sat on her window seat. I looked out of the window and my mind started to wonder off. I kept thinking about what if something goes bad. And I or anybody els I cared about gets hurt. Tears started to run down my face. I placed my feet against my chest and hugged my legs. I stayed in this position for about three minutes. Until I heard shuffling coming from the bed.
"Toni what are you doing up this early?" Cheryl asked me as she got up from the bed. I wiped my tears away and looked at her.
"I couldn't sleep." I replied to Cheryl. She looked at me worriedly. And made her way to me. She sat in front of me.
"TT is because of the fight today?" She asked me. I nodded and looked outside. Cheryl sighed and turned my head to face her.
"I said this once and I'm say it again you'll be fine. And so will everybody els." Cheryl said cupping my face. I nodded and we both leaned in. We kissed each other passionately. When we pulled back we pressed our foreheads together.
"I'm gonna go back to my trailer and change." I said and got up. Me and Cheryl both hugged.
"Okay but make sure your safe. And I love you." Cheryl said once we pulled away.
"I will and I love you to." I said and pecked her lips and left her house. I got into my bike and headed back to my trailer. Once I opened my front door I saw Sweet Pea sleeping on my couch. I smiled to my self and went to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and brushed my hair and teeth. And I also applied my makeup and my deodorant. And got changed into my outfit for today. I wore a grey T shirt with my black jeans and black combat boots.with my serpent jacket. I placed my hair into a bandanna.

And sprayed my self with my vanilla perfume. When I got out of my room it was now 7:00am. I woke up Sweet Pea and we went to Pops.
"You nervous Tiny?" Sweet Pea asked me.
"Yeah but I'm going to be fine. I'm all healed up now so I can use all of my strength to beat up some Ghoulies." I said and took a bite out my waffles. Sweet Pea nodded.
"So how are you and Josie?" I asked my best friend.
"We're good. We're dating now, I asked her after everyone left Sweet water. And she said yes so now I'm a taken man. I hate to disappoint the ladies that wanted me." Sweet Pea said. I laughed at Sweet Pea.
"Oh please Sweets. No offense but you didn't get that much girls anyway. Fangs did and he's gay." I said laughing. Sweet Pea rolls his eyes and continued to eat his food.
"Hey I'm kidding no need to get triggered about it." I said.
"Yeah I know. And for the record Fangs didn't get more girls than me." Sweet Pea said.
"Ok if that's what helps you sleep at night." I said and drank my coffee. We both smiled at each other and continued to eat our food. When we finished eating our food I paid and we went to our bikes. I was about to start the engine when I got a text from Jughead. And it read:
Jughead: Meet me outside the wrym. And tell Sweet Pea to
Me: Okay we'll be there.
Once I relied back I told Sweet Pea. We got on our bike and saw the whole gang there. Even Betty,Cheryl,Veronica, Kevin and Archie. I got off my bike and walked next to Cheryl who gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"So what's up?" I asked Jughead.
"The Ghoulies gave us a time. And it's at 3:00 sharp. So we can't be late. And you already know the location." Jughead said pointing behind the wry at the woods.
"It's by the river right?" Betty asked. Jughead nodded and Betty nodded.
"Are we aloud to fight?" Archie asked. We all shook our heads no.
"Why?" Archie asked.
"Because if you do it'll make things worse. And if you get injured or die it's on us." I explained to Archie. Cheryl squeezed my hand and layer her head in my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and placed her in front of me. Once she was in front of me she grabbed both of my hands and placed them on her waist. She leaned her head on the crook of my neck. I kissed the top of her head and smiled. Even tho I'm nervous Cheryl always knows how to calm me down. We kept talking and hanging out until we all left at 2:50. We all walked into the woods. After walking for about five minutes we saw the Ghoulies standing by a river. And the current of the river was very strong. I looked to my right and saw a worried expression all over Cheryl face. I gave her a reassuring squeeze and smiled.
"Finally about time. We were about to storm into the wrym and drag you out." Malachai said as we all got closer. FP turned to us and gave did the serpent sign. All of the serpents followed,and did the sign.
"In unity there is strength!" FP shouted
"In unity there is strength!" We all shouted back.
"Okay Kevin, Betty, Veronica, Archie, And Cheryl stay here and don't move no matter what happens. Got that?" FP said and asked.
"Yes." They all said. Me,Jughead, and Fangs gave kisses to our significant other. As I was walking to the Ghoulies Cheryl grabbed my arm.
"I love you." Cheryl said.
"I love you to." I said and Cheryl let go of my arm. Me and the rest of the serpents made our way to the Ghoulies. FP and Malachai shook hands started to say the rules.
1.No weapons
2.No cheating
3.No throwing anyone in the river.
4. And no killing or harming the North siders.
"Agreed." Malachai said. We all got in line and we were waiting for the Ghoulies to strike first. Malachai threw a punch at Jughead but jug dodge it. Now everybody was fighting somebody. I was fighting this random Ghoulie girl. She threw a punch and hit me in my right eye. I doge the next two hits and punched her in her jaw and knocked her out. All of the sudden I felt somebody tackle me. I landed face first into the grass. I turned around and saw Malachai on top of me. I kicked him off me and got right back up. He kicked me in my stomach making me stumble back. I punched him in his left eye and punched him in his stomach. When he clutched his stomach somebody threw there hands over my head and started to choke me. As I tried getting the person off of me. Malachai started to hit me in my stomach. With each hit I got more and more angrier and to add on that I couldn't breath. So I kicked Malachai in the nuts. And I threw the person over my shoulder. For my size I'm very strong. But back to the point once the guy was on the ground I kicked him in the face. I started to cough uncontrollably. When I looked up I saw Malachai running at me. I moved out of the way and threw him against a tree. I started to punch him multiple times. Malachai doge my punch and punched me in my cheek cutting it. He punched me again in my jaw causing my head to turn. And when my head turned Malachai pushed me into the river. But not before I took him with me.
"TONI!!!!" Cheryl screamed as I fell into the river. The current brought us both under the water. When I reached the surface I gasped for air but felt Malachai grab my leg and pulled me back down. I looked at him and kicked him but he still wouldn't let me go. At this point I was running out of air. I kicked him on more time and knocking him out. And he finally let me go. But before he could sink I grabbed him and swam back up to the surface. When I gasped for air I brought Malachai up to. I tried to swim to the shore but the current was to strong. And I was tired, I kept going underwater and coming back up. I tried not giving up but I was tired. As I was about to drown. I saw this tree that was knocked down was in the water. I grabbed a branch and pulled me and Malachai up onto the tree. Once I made sure Malachai was safely on the tree. I pulled my self on the other side of the tree. But as I was doing that the branch snapped and the current pushed me underwater and back up again. That happened multiple times until the current dragged me into the calmer part of Sweet Water River. I washed up on the shore and as I was dragging my self away from the river I cut my hand on a sharp rock.
"Shit!" I shouted as laid down on the sand. I was so tired that I passed out. I woke up to me being lifted up. I opened up me eyes and saw my uncle carrying me. But I so tired and in pain to do anything. So I passed out again. I woke up again to being tied up to a chair. I looked up and saw my uncle near a fire heating up the fire poker. I tried to get out of the ropes and scream but I had duck tape on my mouth.
"Great your up. I was just about to poke you with this. But now that your up I rather see you struggle and suffer." My uncle said taking the fire poker out of the fire. I started to pull on the ropes hoping they would brake. As my uncle started to get closer I tried to scream but the duck tape was blocking my screams.
"Nobody will hear you. We're in the middle of the woods." My uncle laughed as he came closer. He ripped off the duck tape and brought the fire poker over my face so I could feel the heat. I moved my head away from the fire poker and my uncle stabbed it into my thigh.
"Ahhhhh!!!!!" I screamed as tears came out of my eyes. My uncle laughed at me and did agin to my other thigh and left it there for a couple of seconds. When he took it out he smiled at me and placed ice cubes on my thigh and doused my thighs in rubbing alcohol.
"Ahhhh Fuck you!!!" I screamed in pain. My uncle slapped me and grabbed my face.
"Shut the fuck up!" My uncle shouted. He threw my head back and left the room. Tears streamed down my face once he left the room. I kept trying to escape but nothing would happen. I started to pray which is something I never did in my life.
"God please help me. Please let me survive this for Jughead,Sweet Pea,Fangs,FP.And even tho I don't know Betty,Veronica,Archie and Kevin that well but let me survive this for them there my friends and most importantly for Cheryl. I can't leave her not now. Not when she needs me the most. If I survive this lord I promise to be my best for me and my loved ones. Amen." I said with tears still running down my face. My uncle came in the room and got eye level with me.
"That so beautiful. I almost cried." My uncle said as he wiped away fake tear.
"Why are you doing this to me. Because if this about money then it's not a problem. I'll give it all to you." I said to my uncle. But he just smiled.
"Were pass that. I'm doing this because of your ways. Dating a girl Toni. Come on your better than that. And besides when your parents were alive my OWN brother wouldn't help me when I needed him the most. Because of your BITCH mother said not to help me." My uncle told me. My blood boiled as he insulted my mother.
"Don't talk about her like that!" I shouted at my uncle. He slapped me again.
"You know what I have a surprise for you." My uncle said. He got up and went to a table across the room. He took out my photo album . But not just any photo album. This photo album had the pictures of me and my parents and my little sister. It was the only thing I had left. He walked back to me and pulled up a chair in front of me and looked at me in my eyes. He opened the album up and took out a picture. The picture was of me and my mom sleeping on a couch.
"I remember this day. Good times." My uncle said and smiled. Tears blurred my vision.
"Please don't do anything to those. Please." I pleaded with my uncle. But he just laughed at me and ripped it.
"Nooo!!!" I screamed. And tried to get out of the chair. My uncle did this to every picture until he landed on my favorite and last one. It was of me and my mom and dad and my uncle and my grandpa on my birthday party. And it was also where I found out that my mom was pregnant.I so happy that day nothing could ruin that moment. I saw uncle looking at that photo with a little smile. Until he shook his head.
"Please not that one. That's my last one I'll ever have. Don't do it. I know that's important to you to. I saw your smile. Please don't do this. If you do that I'll nothing of them left. Please." I pleaded as tears came out of my eyes and ran down my face. My uncle looked at with a little pity for me. He folded the photo and placed it on my serpent jacket.
"Your right that ones my favorite to. Because that was taken before everything went to shit. We were all so happy as a family. And no matter how much guys I had kidnap out and torture you. And no matter how many times I hurt I just want you to know that I'm sorry and that I love you." My uncle said which made me cry even more. He hugged me and kissed my forehead and untied me. My legs were so weak from him stabbing me but I forced my self to get up. My uncle hugged me and kissed me again.
"I'm so so so sorry Antoinette. I hope you can forgive me." He said and I nodded. He healed me up and wrapped me up and.He lead us out the woods. We reached the road to wear his truck was at. "I'm going to drop you off the wrym. And I'm going to take my self to the cops. No matter what happens I love you." My uncle said grabbing my hand.
"I love you to and I forgive you." I said and hugged him. He parked across from the wrym. I got out of the truck and smiled at him. He smiled back at me and tears ran down his face. I limped my way to the wrym. Once I open the door I dropped on the ground. And everybody came to my aid. FP carried me to the pool table. Once he sat me down on the table Cheryl came running to me. Her arms wrapped around my waist and I wrapped mine around her neck.
"I'm so glad the okay. I thought you were dead." Cheryl cried in my neck. I stroked her hair and let my tears come out of my eyes. Once she let me go Sweet Pea ran to me and hugged me then Fangs,Jughead,and even Betty,Veronica.Archie,And Kevin.
"What happened to you?" FP asked me.
"Can I get some water first?" I asked FP in a raspy voice. He nodded and gave me a water bottle. I drank all of it and told them everything. I told them about how my uncle toured me and then took care of me and drove me here. And how I saved Malachai. And how I also got dragged again by the current. Once everything settled down I went to a back room. And took out the photo of me and my family. And smiled at it.
"TT are you Okay?" Cheryl asked me. I turned around and smiled at her. It was a real and genuine smile. I haven't felt this happy since my parents were alive.
"Yeah I actually am. For the first time in forever. Besides when I met you." I said at Cheryl she came close to me and saw the picture.
"Is that you?" Cheryl asked me.
"Yeah that's me and my mom and dad and my uncle and my grandpa,and my unborn little sister." I said pointing to them to show her who's who. She smiled at me and gave me a passionate kiss.
"Your so cute. And you look soo much like your dad." Cheryl said. I nodded in agreement. That night was filed with sweat,blood,and hella tears. But it was mostly filled with happiness. We all drank that night in celebration. Because the serpents win against the Ghoulies and thanks to me Malachai is still alive.
