Chapter 41

Toni's P.O.V

I woke up in the middle of the night to my stomach hurting like a bitch. I groaned and felt Cheryl immediately took her head off my chest and sat up.
"TT are you okay did I hurt you?" Cheryl asked and I shook my head. And slowly got up, causing pain to shook up my body and Cheryl helping me up.
"Oww!" I shouted and tears spilled out of my eyes.
"It's okay baby I got you." Cheryl said and the door opened to reveal Sofia with her stuffed animal in her hands.
"Are you okay?" She asked and slowly climbed onto my bed and sat next to me.
"No,my stomach hurts really badly." I said and I took a deep breath and I heard Sofia gasp.
"Your bleeding." She said and pointed to my stomach,where the blood stain was at.
"Oh shit Toni your stitches broke." Cheryl said and I groaned and began to loose consciousness.
"No no no Toni stay awake." Cheryl said as she removed the blankets away from me.
"Mom,dad!" Sofia screamed as she got off my bed. A few moments later both of my parents ran into my room to see my on the bed with my bleeding hoodie on and Cheryl's hands covers in my blood.
"Toni!" My mom screamed and my dad grabbed me and carried me down the stairs and into the car with everybody getting the car. My dad drove over the speed limit while Cheryl,my mom,mad Sofia tried to keep me awake.
"Toni sweetie please stay awake.. stay wake for us, we just got you back please don't leave us." My mom said with tears in her eyes and I weakly grabbed her hand and held it. I felt the car stop and my dad dragged me out and everybody ran in the emergency room.
"Help my daughter stitches popped and she's loosing blood fast!" I heard my dad shout and I felt a doctor grab me and place me in a gurney. I looked at her and she smiled at me. They took my to a room where they stopped my bleeding by wrapping cloth around it tightly until they could give me some blood and stitch me up. As I was laying down on the bed a lady nurse came up to me. She was a older black woman with purple scrubs on.
"Hello Toni, how are you feeling?" She asked me.
"I feel...loopy." I said and giggled and she smiled.
"That's because I don't want you to feel when I redo your stitches." The nurse explained and I looked at her and giggled again.
"You have.. two heads." I said and rose my right arm and saw the needle that was giving me blood.
"Wait... am I a vampire?" I asked the nurse and she smiled at me and shook her head.
"No baby,your not a vampire that needle is giving you blood because you need it." She said and I nodded and she rose my hoodie up and cut off my old stitches and threw them away.
"Wait how am I getting blood when I'm not fixed yet?" I asked the nurse and she smiled at me again.
"There's a nob on the tube that is closed right now but once I'm done doing your stitches then I turn the nob and then you'll get blood. But don't worry baby I'm almost done. I do the stitches quick." The nurse said and I placed my head back down on the pillow.  And let the nurse do my stitches.
"My girlfriend calls me baby sometimes." I said and I could tell the nurse was smiling.
"Oh really what other names does she call you?" She asked and I took a deep breath.
"Well when she's happy she calls me baby,babe,TT. But when I'm in trouble she calls me Antoinette. But sometimes she calls me da-" I got interrupted by my parents who came in with Sofia and Cheryl walking behind them.
"How is she doing?" My dad asked and looked at me.
"Oh she's fine, and really loopy ain't that right baby?" The nurse asked and I nodded.
"Yes mam,everybody in here have two heads except f-for mom she has three heads." I said and started to laugh causing everybody to smile. My mom came up to me and hugged me and kissed me.
"Woah everything got dizzy." I said and looked at Sofia.
"You look like a monkey, did mom and dad buy you out of a zoo?" I asked her and she just rolled her eyes. Then I looked up at my dad, and I rose a brow at him. He had a beard and curly hair. I leaned my mom in closer and "whispered" in her ear.
"Mom don't freak out but I think dad turned into a bear." I said and everybody laughed and I heard the monitor go dead and I looked at Cheryl and gasped.
"Oh..my...god did I just fucking die?" I asked and tears came out of my eyes.
"No Toni your not dying why would you think that?" My mom said and wiped my tears.
"B-because I heard the monitor go off and there a red headed angle. I-I thought she was going to take me." I said and Cheryl smiled and walked closer to me.
"No Toni that's Cheryl,your girlfriend." My dad said and rubbed my head. And I looked at him with a shocked face.
"Wait m-my girlfriend?" I asked and everybody shook their head yes and I got excited. And my eyes went wide and everybody laughed.
"S-she's mine. Does that mean I can keep her forever?" I asked and looked at my dad then my mom then finally at Cheryl.
"Yes I'm yours Toni. And you can keep me forever." Cheryl said and held my hand and I smiled like a big dumb ass. After that happened the nurse finished stitching me up and she turned the nob and the blood went straight into me. After a few minutes passed by I felt like my self again I was still loopy but I felt better and I was less paler. My eyes kept slowly closing and re opening,so Cheryl placed her hand on my shoulder.
"Go to sleep baby." Cheryl said and I grabbed Cheryl's hand and held it and fell asleep.
The next morning
I woke up and saw my parents sitting beside me while Sofia and Cheryl slept in the couch.
"Oh good morning Tons,how are you feeling?" My dad asked as he kissed my forehead.
"I'm feel fine." I replied back and he handed me a tray that had a bowl of fruits,and a three pieces of waffles. I picked out the fruits I didn't like and ate the ones I did like.
"What time is it?" I asked my parents,and my dad looked at his watch.
"It's 8:30." My dad said and I looked at them and slowly sat up.
"Why are guys up so early?" I asked my parents and looked down and saw that they had scrubs.
"Wait your doctors?" I asked in a shocked voice and they smiled and nodded there heads.
"Wait how come you guys didn't tell me that your doctors?!" I asked and they sat closer to me.
"Well we never got the chance to tell you. And you never asked." My mom said.
"But wait so how come you never continued the family company?" I asked.
"Well because remember we "died" Toni, we couldn't continue the business,but you can." My dad said and placed his hand on my shoulder.
"What do you mean?" I asked cluelessly.
"Remember sweetie you have whats left of our family money. So with that money you can rebuild the family business. But only if you want to." My mom said and looked at my dad,who smiled at me.
"Wait are you guys in witness protection or something?" I asked and they looked at each other and nodded.
"Woah that cool,isn't that a movie or something?" I asked and giggled.
"Yeah it's a movie." My dad said and rolled us eyes playfully. And a nurse came in and knocked on the door.
"Doctor Cortéz,we need you both it's a patient,they suffered trama to the head." The nurse said and left again,both of my parents looked at each other and got off my bed.
"You guys changed your last name to Cortéz?" I asked and they nodded and left. I sighed and looked over and saw Cheryl awake and she smiled at me.
"Good morning beautiful." I said and she smiled again and walked over to me. Once Cheryl sat next to me I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me causing her to lay down with me.
"Good morning TT,how you feeling?" Cheryl asked me and kissed my cheek.
"I'm fine,a little sore but fine." I replied back and Cheryl lifted up my new T-shirt that my parents brought for me. And once she lifted my shirt there was a ring of purple around my stitches.
"That looks nasty." Cheryl said and I chuckled and cuddled into Cheryl.
"And the top becomes the bottom." Cheryl traded and I lifted my head off her chest and placed my hand under her shirt. And squeeze her breast's.
"The Who becomes a what now?" I asked and Cheryl whimpered.
"N-nothing,I didn't mean it." She moaned out as my hand trailed down to her core.
"That's what I thought."I said and turned on the TV. As me and Cheryl were watching TV Sofia woke up.
"Good morning Sofia." Cheryl said and hugged her causing Sofia to smile.
"Good morning Cheryl." Sofia replied and laid her head on her chest.
"Wow do you just gonna steal my girl like that?" I asked and smiled at her.
"Yup." Sofia said and I chucked and we all watched the TV until the nurse from last night came in.
"Good morning baby how are you feeling today?" She asked me.
"I'm sore but fine." I replied back and she nodded and motioned to my shirt and I lifted it up for her to look at.
"Yeah bruising is common baby you got nothing to worry about. All you have to do is take pain killers." She said and handed me a pill and the bottle to Cheryl. I took the pill and she smiled and left the room, but then stopped and came back and gave Sofia a sucker.
"Don't tell yourself parents I have you that okay baby." She told Sofia who lit up and nodded her head excitedly and zipped up her mouth and threw away the key.
"I like her." Sofia said and I nodded agreeing with her.
"What am I chopped liver?" Cheryl asked the both of us.
"Cheryl,we don't like you.... we love you." Me and Sofia said at the same time. And we both kissed her cheeks which caused her to blush and giggle.
"Aww I love you guys to." Cheryl said showering us with kisses. Sofia started to giggle and accidentally gave Cheryl access to her neck. And Cheryl took the opportunity and ticked her neck with me joining. After five minutes of torturing Sofia I didn't see my parents watching me and Cheryl tickling Sofia.
"Can we join?" My dad asked and they walked over to Sofia and started to tickle her too,but soon stopped so she can breath.
"You guys are my parents your supposed to save me from the bullies not join them." Sofia said as she took deep breaths.
"Well if you can't beat them join them." My mom said and kissed my cheek.
"Well you can beat her,she's your child." Sofia said and my dad picked her up.
"Well maybe we will,right Marie?" My dad asked my mom who smirked and tickled me lightly and carefully. And soon everybody joined in and after minutes of tickling everybody stopped. After everybody settled down, the gang cake and stopped by.
"Sup Tiny." Sweet Pea said and laid on my bed right next to me.
"Hey sweets." I replied back and messed with his hair.
"Hey no you know how long it took me to make it looks like this?!" Sweet Pea said and got off the bed and fixed his hair again. I rolled my eyes and held Cheryl's hand.
"So how did you manage to break your stitches?" Veronica asked me in a whisper with a smirk and looked back at me and Cheryl.
"No it's not like that." Cheryl said and Veronica just ignored her.
"Yeah right you two were trying to get down and dirty." Veronica whispered and lightly shoved us and wiggles her eyebrows.
"No V we didn't I wish but somebody doesn't let me." I said and looked at Cheryl, Cheryl looked at me and rolled her eyes.
"Shut up I don't want you to get hurt because of me." Cheryl said and Veronica sighed.
"Cheryl your so dramatic,well I hope you get better T. And when you do get better y'all better do the deed." Veronica said and she dabbed me up.
"Thanks V, and we will." I said and the rest of the gang left.
"I wanna go." I said and hugged trying to sit up,but to be met with both of my parents and Cheryl hands pushing me back down.
"UghhI'm tired of laying down." I said and tried to get comfortable but it was no use.
"Toni you can just be sitting up like that you just got new stitches yesterday." My dad said and I sighed and placed the pillow over my head.
"I don't wanna be here no more,and this bed is giving fucking scoliosis." I said and my mom gave me a stern look.
"What?" I asked her.
"Language." She replied back.
"Mom I'm literally an almost adult." I said and she shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't care as long as your under my roof or care your going to stop using that language." My mom said and I grabbed the bed remote control and lifted my self up so I'd be in a sitting position.
"Mom I have my own place,I live by my self with Cheryl. I pay rent and all of that boring stuff." I said and my mom sighed and placed her hand on the side of my face.
"I know I-it's just....I keep forgetting your not a little kid anymore,and we've missed out on so much on your life. We're sorry." My mom said with tears in her eyes and Cheryl got up and grabbed Sofia's hand and they left the room shutting the door.
"Why didn't you try to find me?" I asked my parents as tears filled up my eyes.
"Honey we thought you were dead, my brother showed us a video of him liking you." My dad as tears ran down his and my moms face.
"You didn't think that maybe it was fake? That maybe I was still alive?" I asked my parents and they looked at each other and looked down.
"No." My dad said and my tears left my eyes.
"Wow... you know deep down I knew you guys were still alive. I didn't give up on finding you guys you know how many private investors I hired to find you and Sofia?" I asked in a slightly angers tone but it was mostly sadness. I took a pause to let my parents speak but they didn't.
"I hired 12 private investigators. I could have used those investigators to become Uncle Tom most trusted friend. But instead I made them look into your "death". But only to find out years later that my parents are still alive and so is my little sister." I said and took a deep breath trying not to loose my cool.
"We're sorry champ,even if we did try to find you the witness protection wouldn't allow it." My dad said and tried to grab my hand,but I loved my hand away.
"You guys left me with him, he abused me called me every nasty name you can think of. And did every torturous thing you can think of. You guys messed every important moment in my life. All because you believed a man who is well known for lying,and playing people." I said  and wiped my face.
"Toni we didn't want any of this to happen. If we could change time we would go back and make sure that never happened." My mom said and tried to touch me but I flinched and looked away.
"Just go to Sofia, since your so good at being there for her when she needs you the most." I said and let the tears fall down my face. My parents looked shocked but left my room. Once they left my room I got up ignoring the pain,and putting on my slides Cheryl brought me and I took out all the needles and wires that were attached to me and and I left the hospital. I called fangs and told him to meet me at Pops. After about fifteen minutes of walking to Pops I saw Fangs sitting in a booth eating some fries. I opened the door and sat down slowly and took a fry.
"Toni why did you ask me to meet you here,you were just in the hospital like an hour ago. What's going on?" Fangs asked me in a worried voice.
"How far away is the prison that's holding my uncle?" I asked him.
"Umm it's like two hours away from here. Why?" Fangs asked me.
"I want you to come with me, I want answers." I said and Fangs looked at me skeptically.
"No Toni no you need to go back to the hospital." Fangs said and I shook my head and held his hand.
"Please." I begged and he finally agreed.
"Fine." He replied back.
