Chapter 40

Cheryl's P.O.V

This is a long ass chapter and I didn't feel like proof reading this. So don't bash me about it.

I woke up in Toni's room,and I could hear her parents having a conversation.
"I still can't believe that Toni's alive." Ms.Topaz said and she turned off the sink. I turned in my phone and saw that it was 8 in the morning.
"Yeah me neither,but I can't help but fell that Toni's not letting us really in. I know we've be gone for almost half of her life,but it still feels like she's shutting us out." I heard Mr.Topaz say with a sigh at the end.
"I know but you know these things take time, it didn't really take long with Sofia,but she was a little baby when we got her back. But Toni's almost graduating and she's been through much. I think we just need to give her some space." Ms.Topaz said and I looked over at Toni and saw her still sleeping. I lifted my head off of her and snuggled closer to her trying not to hurt her in any way.
"Well let's check up on her and Cheryl." Mr.Topaz said and I heard there footsteps come up the stairs. I quickly closed my eyes and they slowly and quietly opened the door and walked in.
"Aww their so cute together, I'm just glad that Toni is happy."Ms.Topaz said and Toni shifted.
"You guys suck at whispering." Toni mumbles and her parents chuckled.
"Sorry Tones,go back to sleep." Mr.Topaz said and Toni slowly ran her fingers across my back.
"Baby my parents might have feel for it,but I'm not,I know your awake." Toni said and I opened and smiled at her.
"Good morning babygirl." Toni said and yawned.
"Good morning TT." I replied back and sat up and stretched.
"My stomach hurts." Toni whined and leaned on me.
"TT stop leaning on me." I said and Toni sighed and stood up and grabbed her clothes and looked over at me.
"Are you coming or not?" Toni asked me.
"Don't rush me I'm coming." I said and grabbed some of her clothes and we walked in the bathroom. After a quick shower I cleaned Toni's stitches and I helped her walk down the stairs.
"Oh hello girls,breakfast will be ready soon." Mr.Topaz said and Toni have him a small smile.
"TT can we talk?" I asked her and she nodded and we walked outside in the back porch.
"What's up baby?" Toni asked me and hugged me.
"This morning I heard your parents talking and they said that they feel like your not letting them in." I said and Toni's sighed.
"Oh.... well I'm still not used to having parents. They haven't been around for half of my life. But I'll come around." Toni told me and looked back her parents.
"Yeah I know I just thought id tell you so can talk to them. And maybe try to talk to them." I said and Toni nodded and kissed me.
"Ok I will let's head back inside." Toni said and we walked inside and her mom came up to her and kissed her head.
"Are you feeling better?" Her mom asked her and Toni smiled and nodded.
"Yeah I am thanks mom for taking care of me." Toni said and hugged her mom. Both of her parents made eye contact and smiled at each other. I smiled and sat with Sofia as Toni aloes to her parents.
"How long are you staying here?" Sofia asked me.
"I don't know,why?" I asked her,and she shrugged.
"Cause,I like having you around. Toni is kinda weird." Sofia told me and I giggled.
"I know." I responded and Sofia got off the couch and grabbed the game of life.
"Wanna play?" She asked me and I nodded and we started to play. And after a while Toni and her parents came back.
"What?! You guys played without me?" Toni asked us and i nodded.
"What does it look like Antoinette?" Sofia said with sarcasm in her voice and rolled her eyes.
"Hey watch it you little sh-"
"Toni!" I yelled at her and she rolled her eyes and sat down. After all of us ate breakfast we changed into clothes. I wore a red hoodie and sweat. And Toni wore a white nike hoodie with black sweats.
"So what are we gonna do all day?" Toni asked me.
"Well you need to rest." I said and lightly pushed Toni on her bed.
