After the long process, the trainees were asked to stand in the center for the announcement.

Hana couldn't stop minding her heartbeat, she's nervous. The last time this happened, her duo debut with Krystal was taken back to make them a part of a newly formed group to train but it didn't last long, they were removed and was put into a new group. But like the last one, they got removed again. The cycle continued for two years but they didn't lose hope. They thought the longer they train, the better they'll get.

As the bosses are calling out names to step forward, Hana couldn't believe it when she heard her name.

Krystal's grip on her hand tightens but Hana took it off and stepped forward. They couldn't believe it, the trainees inside the room who knew the two too well have a lot of questions to ask.

"Ahri," one boss called, she stepped forward, "there's a soloist I want to join your group and prepare for debut. She'll join you tomorrow. Step back."

Ahri bowed lightly and stepped back. She can't take her eyes off Hana. Hana is the one who helps her clean the choreography, every evaluation. They ripped off their lead dancer.

"Jung Hana," one of the vocal trainers said, "your status will be announced later at the end of the process. For now, step aside."

Hana could only nod, fighting back her tears.

After announcing the list of girls to regroup and removed, they were told to move to the side and wait for the final decision.

"Now to the boy trainees," the assistant said.

Hana's mind wandered. It fills her mind with a lot of questions. She wanted to ask them herself why she's being replaced. But all she can do right now is to keep quiet, do as she's told, and wait for the evaluation to end.

She knew the group has been glancing in her direction but she couldn't dare look at them. She's upset and hurt. She never wanted to leave the group, they knew they're fit to debut soon. They were asked two weeks ago if they have a name in mind. And they all agreed with Affection way before they asked. But now, someone will fill the dreams she had with them for her.

"Lastly," the dance coach leader said.

Hana had composed herself and listened to the announcement.

"Three of the guys here will take part in a survival show. So I will announce the temporary set-up until the next three months.

"Kang Gyuri, at the center, please."

The girl beside her walked towards the center as she's told.

"Jo Hangyeom, center please."

The guy did the same.

"You two will have to train as soloists for the next three months."

The two of them nodded and went back to their places.

"Christian Wu, Ahn Jaehyun, Kim Hyunjin, Kim Min Ho, at the center.

"You will form a new group. Ahn Jaehyun, dismissed."

The guys nodded as well and went back to their places.

"Han Yerim, AhnChaeyoung, Nabi Kim, Go Anna, Choi Yuri, center, please.

"Your group remains the same but still undecided."

The girls nodded and like the others, went back to their places.

"Go Seung Gi, Choi Ara, Go Ji Eun, Im Hana, Song Ah Reum, Song Seunghyun, Han Seojun, center please.

"Dismissed. Han Seojun, join Min Ho's group."

Hana's eyes widen in surprise, 'I guess goodbye ST Ent. it is.'

"Jung Hana, Shin Bora, center please.

"Shin Bora, dismissed."

The beating of Hana's heart increased. Her trainee days for years have ended... Or so she thought?

"Jung Hana, go solo for now."

Hana bit her lip and bowed lightly. She sighed a relief before going back to her place. And she also heard her now former team breathed a relief when they heard she's staying.

"That's all for today. Good work, everyone." The assistant said.

When they all have gone out, Hana squat down. She felt her soul had left her. She vowed to work twice as much as she's worked from the last monthly evaluation. She would stay extra hours at the training room to prove herself and sometimes, the dance coach would catch her practicing up to 11 in the evening. And no matter how much discouragement he'd tell her for staying up late practicing, it would only push Hana to work harder. In the end, he gave up but told her to keep it easy.

At the next monthly evaluation, they told her to join Nabi Kim's group.

Hana was happy, she wouldn't have to practice alone. She now has a group to be with, to have fun while working.

The next day, Hana went straight to the training area after her errands. She had a huge smile on her face. By the time she opened the door, she saw everyone in the group present, creating a choreography. Preparing for the next monthly evaluation.

Everyone dropped what they were doing and turned to Hana who just arrived.

"Hi," she bowed politely, "I'm Jung Hana." But they didn't respond and went back to what they're working on.

"Yuri," Nabi called, "teach Hana what to do for the next hour."

Yuri stopped doodling on a piece of paper and wore her baseball cap and stood at the center of the training room.

Understanding what she meant, Hana dropped her bag and dash next to Yuri.

"Watch."

Yuri started dancing once Nabi played the music and did all the moves in one go. Hana couldn't get everything just watching one time and she knew she's screwed.

"Now, keep up."

Nabi played the music again and Yuri danced without warning. Luckily, Hana is quick to learn with dancing. It is her strength.

"Wow, she's good," Anna said, watching her new teammate follow through Yuri's moves.

Nabi kept her eyes on the new person, afraid she might steal her shine.
