We follow Teagan to a small conference room. We enter and she closes the door.

"You guys are the ones that I'd like to go to Alaska with me, but I'm not making you go, it's totally your decision," Teagan informs. I look her in the eye. "I'm in Squirt," I state. "Me too," Rylee adds. "Yeah I'm in till the end boss," Cannon smirks. "I'll go," Brynn whisper "I'm going," Alex remarks, she had been standing beside Teagan this whole time.

The only person who has said nothing is Grayson. We all look at him. "What about you Gray, are you coming with?" Teagan questions. "I don't know," Grayson mumbles. "Wait we need an inside man, who can take care and train the newbies. We also need someone who can get us out if things go south," Brynn remarks. "That's correct, we do need someone like that, Grayson do you want to stay back?" Teagan asks. "Yes please," Grayson responds.

"Then we have it, the leading squad. I'm going to talk to Gregor and see about guns, grenades, armor, and back up," Teagan reports. "Sounds good boss. If I may ask, can you get me a bazooka while your at it?" Cannon smirks. "Cannon you can have your own conversation with Gregor about that if you'd like," Teagan whispers sternly. "Cool" Cannon whispers.

I glance over at Alex, she's just a kid I don't know if she really should be coming. Alex doesn't seem phased by any of this. I can tell she's strong, but that doesn't mean she should be coming with us.

"I want you all to rest for now until dinner. We need to train like crazy, but we also need to keep our energy up which means taking a break every once in a while," Teagan states. "Okay I'll take some naps Boss," Cannon comments. "I have some things to work out, so guys please get some rest," Teagan insists, as she walks out of the room.

Rylee follows Teagan, so I follow them. "Are you okay?" I speak up from behind them. "Uh-hu," Rylee mutters. They're not okay, well at least I know Teagan isn't.

Teagan's shaking her hand at her side. I need to get that girl a ring to fidget with or something. She used to have a ring she'd fidget with if she was bored or mad, but most of all when something was bugging her.

"Do either of you want to talk to me?" I softly ask. There's no response. They walk into their room and leave the door open. I take that as an invitation to go inside.

"I broke Rylees hand," Teagan confesses. Teagans eyes fill with tears. "What are you talking about Squirt?" I ask. "She was really upset, she squeezed my hand. I know it was a mistake and she didn't mean to do it," Rylee whispers. I look at Rylee and next at Teagan. Teagan is silently crying, she's fidgeting with her prosthetic leg.

"Teag it's okay," Rylee sits beside her and rubs her back. "No it's not," Teagan mutters. I think I know why this is bugging Teagan.

Her brother Henri, would take his anger out on people around him. He'd hit Teagan in the back of her head if she pissed him off. He broke three of her toes once because he stomped on her foot, and he would cut her. She always had to watch how she talked around him. She had to watch how and when she talked around her whole family. Teagan usually just went in another room if anyone was in a mood.

Teagan thinks she's like Henri. "Teagan it's okay, you're not like him," I whisper, as walk over and sit on the free side of her. "But-" Teagan began, she was cut off by Rylee. "But you're not like him, or anyone in your family. You're better than them, you're special," Rylee comforts.

I glance at Rylee, she's looking at Teagan. Teagan is refusing eye contact with us, she's keeping her eyes on the ground.

"I agree you're not like them, and never will be like them," I agreed with Rylee. Teagan starts crying even harder. "Squirt you're okay," I whisper. I give Teagan a hug. "I have to go take a shower," I state. I glance at Rylee who looks up from Teagan to meet my eyes. Rylee nods for me to leave.

I walk out of their room.
