Monday, 7th January.
(David's POV)

The beeping noise of the alarm clock could be heard vividly.

I couldn't sleep with this disturbance and I repeatedly kicked Nick on the back-- who was sleeping on the other bed beside me.

We were sharing the same room for now before mine was fully renovated.

He refused to wake up and turn off his annoying alarm.

The door creaked open and a woman walked into the room, carrying a basket full of clean laundry.

She approached the alarm, turned off the beeping alarm clock and sighed heavily.

I could see the disappointment at the state of our room, which could be seen clearly from her facial expression.

Dirty laundries littered the floor, as she gazed down at me, deducing that I wasn't sleeping at all but pretending.

She walked towards me and hit me repeatedly on my poor back before I finally decided to wake up.

"Who's there. Who's there " I yelled, jumping up from my bed.

"Get up!!. Sleeps over "

"Today is your first day at your new school and you know that saying that says ''The earliest Bird catches the earliest Worm" She adds.

"Yeah I know Mum but I didn't want to move in the first place " I shot back, quite instantly.

"Every time Dad gets into trouble with the law we always have to move every time!! " I replied, enraged.

"Just get your butt up David before I lose my patience " She angrily, yelled at me.

"And also wake your brother up "She spoke, referring to Nick who was busy sleeping.

I sighed heavily and rolled off my bed and woke up Nick from his slumber.

"I can't believe Dad made us move here " Nick frowned.

"I lost all of my friends, my girlfriend, my life and now I have to make new ones once again " I murmured softly, beneath my breath.

Our names could be heard ringing down from downstairs and we quickly deduced that it was Mom and Nick hurriedly beat me to the the shower.

20 Minutes Later.
Dinning table.

Mum, Dad, Nick and I where sitting on the round dinning table.

I tried not to talk at all at the table but mum had to ask me something.

"Are you hyped for your first day of school? " She asked, with keen interest in her look.

"Not really sure. Would have been happy if this wasn't the third time we where moving in two years " I answered, sipping my orange juice before taking a bit off my sandwich.

"Don't worry everything will work out for you kiddo " Dad spoke, sipping his coffee.

Mom always worked as a nurse where ever we found ourselves running.

Dad on the other hand was well many things. At the time I was born Mom said he was in the British Armed Forces.

When I was in kindergarten he was in the British Royal Air Force.

He then went on to work in a Public Rights Commission in Somalia.

And while we were on the run from the law, he worked as a doctor, journalist, physicists and am wondering what new identity he would come up with.

"So what name are we going to use in this town " I asked.

"From now on we're the Wagner family. We are from New York and we moved here to live a quitter life. Get that " He spoke as both him and Mom stared at Nick and I.

I was I still upset with him and  decided to pull his leg a bit.

"Nick and I gotta go. Pops could you drop us off at school on your way"

I saw that stern look on his face and he was about to say No when I saw Mom give him a signal to say yes.

He pushed his plate front and stood up and wore his Brown Tuxedo.

Mum kissed him on his cheek and wished him good luck on his search for a new job.

We couldn't stay and watch their old love and quickly exited the house.

Nick had earlier sniped away Dad's car keys and he opened the car.

The car was an old modelled Toyota Camry car. He had sold off his former to buy this one so that we would live under the radar.

I didn't now why we always moved but was sure it was with something about Dad's past.

We saw him exit the house and look at me angrily as he had found out that we took his keys away.

He opened the door and sat down on the drivers seat and asked for his keys which I gladly gave it to him.

He put in the key and ignited it but the old rust bucket refused to start.

He tried it three more times but didn't work and stepped out of the car and hit the engine with his foot.

Nick and I tried very hard not to laugh but couldn't control ourselves and we burst into uncontrollable laughter which I could have sworn that Dad had seen.

Miraculously on the fifth try the old rust bucket came to life.

He jumped in and sternly gazed at me and drove away.

We passed through various buildings and I began to wonder what life would be like here.

I wanted to ask Dad but decided against it.

Dad must have noticed that I was engrossed in deep thoughts for he spoke " You wanna tell me something son? " He asked.

"Yeah Dad. But what is it going to be like here " I replied.

"Well you know Aunt Jean? "

"Yeah "

"She lives here with her son James and she says this is an amazing place to be and am sure you are gonna love it here. Trust me " He Spoke.

His words might have helped me cool down but something still lingered in Nick's mind.

"What if I don't make any friends Dad? " Nick Quired, looking out the window as we were almost there.

"Don't worry Son. Just be yourself and you'll find them how hard can it be " He replied, as the car came to a screeching halt.

We walked out the car.

"Sons. Just know something " He spoke.

"You can't start a new chapter if you keep RE-READING the LAST ONE " Dad added.

"Bye Dad see you later " We waved, as he zoomed off.
