20XX - September 1st, 00:28 AM.
"Agents Saiga and Burgundy!"
"And you are the platoon leader I presume?"
"Yes Agent Burgundy, I am Lt. Gyurza."
The lieutenant walked up to them, and saluted both, Burgundy and Saiga saluted back, and Gyurza shaked both of their hands.
"Nice to meet you, Lieutenant Gyurza!"
Filak greeted him for the first time, Saiga already knew him.
"I think you set a record time for your deployment speed, Pirieu!"
Saiga laughed a bit, looking at the United Fed soldiers cleaning the buildings and getting Russie soldiers out as war prisoners.Burgundy's ex-squadmates turned their heads, seeing Filak...
"Пиздец, а ми его лохом называли! Хто бы знал он шпион Федерацыи?!" (Damn, and we called him a klutz! Who would've thought he's a Fed spy?!)
"Commander told me she wanted to personally talk to Filak. If I'm correct, Burgundy, you haven't met her yet, no?"
Filak shook his head... all he knows is that the Commander's name is Helian and she is female... and that she is the commander!
"I'm more than excited to meet the one in charge of the Rhein theater."
A UF soldier came up to the commander, they finished up.
"...but sir, to note, we haven't found any of our guys in the prison cells, the cells are empty."
Gyurza made a concerned and thinking face upon hearing that.
"Uh... What do you-"
Filak cut him off.
"All prisoners at this base got transported out 2 hours ago. We couldn't do anything about it, sorry."
"Well, atleast we know they're alive. I bet they have a Rhein Theater HQ round here too."
Saiga turned his head around, and saw Vintorez sneaking out of the grasp of everyone.
"HEY THERE'S AN ESCAPIST!"
"СОСИТЕ АМЕРИКАНСКИЕ ПИДОРАСЫ!" (SUCK IT, AMERICAN SWINE!)
Suddenly, he threw something straight at Gyurza, Saiga, and Filak.
"ITS A GRENADE, GET DOWN!"
With these words, all soldiers were alert, and half went to the direction of russkie swearing, and opened fire at Vintorez, which fell down after getting mowed down by 10 riflemen. The grenade exploded, all soldiers by the time were laying on the ground, Saiga barely got out, saving Filak and Gyurza as a body shield.
"What the fuck just happened?!"
"Saiga are you okay?!"
A few medics ran out and quickly took unconscious, slightly bleeding Saiga in a helicopter.
"ATTENTION!"
All soldiers stopped and looked towards Gyurza.
"That was very unprofessional, from all of you! I thought the commander picked the best man for this night raid! If not our skilled Agents, I would've been dead now!"
All soldiers apologized to the lieutenant.
"I'll let you go without a penalty this time, because this was your first mistake. Take his body, he might be alive."
2 medics grabbed Vintorez and pulled him in the helicopter too.
"I guess we should go now before anything happens?"
Gyurza nodded to Filak's request.
"ALL SOLDIERS, BOARD YOUR HELICOPTERS!"
Filak watched the rows of advanced UF soldiers rush in their helicopters...
Filak stared at them, remembering his training back home.
"You okay, Filak?"
"A-Ah, yes sir!"
Filak jolted a bit and turned to Gyurza rapidly.
"Okay, don't doze off... you still got a ride and meeting before bed."
"Gotcha..."
Gyurza controlled so that everyone got to the helicopters, and then got in with Filak, and used his radio to command a flying formation to HQ.
"When was the last time I rode a huey...?"
Gyurza looked at Filak, who was looking out the window, putting his elbow on the side and putting his head on his arm, relaxing...
"How much time have you and Saiga spent here, Filak?"
Quietness... Medics were listening a bit while treating Saiga and Vintorez.
"...8 months."
Gyurza looked back outside, realized what Filak said and looked back with his eyes wide open, in shock.
"You're.... You're one hell of a new spy, Burgundy! And you said you're 19, right...?"
Gyurza's respect for Filak rose faster than the speed of light...
Saiga woke up half way there, approximately 30 minutes later.
"Ah fuck... I hate shrapnel grenades!"
Gyurza got to Saiga and sat next to him.
"Glad to see you're not dead to shrapnel, so the party tomorrow will keep its party master!"
Saiga chuckled smugly a bit, because noone ever called him a party master.
"Whatever Gyurza, the most important thing right now is not to die to Russkie Migs!"
They both laugh it out, and Filak kept staring out the window to see constellations.
"Hey, look, full moon!"
The sky cleared up a bit, revealing the clear night sky, filled with stars. Gyurza and Saiga look out too, actually admiring it a bit.
"Your philosophy, Burgundy... Enjoying the tiny things in life, huh? Ain't that a bit childish?"
"I'm still 19, so I don't think it's too childish for me to enjoy stars."
Gyurza thought bit, looking back out.
"I actually dont really remember the last time I saw such a clear night sky. Oh wait no I do, back when I was camping with my family."
Saiga grinned.
"If we count in the fact your memory is not the best factor then that mean you were camping right before the war huh?"
Gyurza let out a sigh.
"Just cause I constantly forgot to bring school stuff back in high school doesn't mean I got a flawed memory my whole life!"
"Oh look a shooting star!"
"Oh damn it's a big one too!"
Filak grinned and looked at Saiga and Gyurza who were both interested by the view.
"So now "the adults" are looking at, quote Lieutenant Gyurza, "childish stars"?"
They both look at Filak, and Filak gives the smug smile. Filak has never smiled like it his whole career.
"Anyway, this looks like a moment in some sort of movie, we should get to getting info from y'all."
Burgundy nodded to Gyurza's request, and began telling with Saiga.
