Alone

During the last mini-base raid, which was a few days after the events of the radio contact, Filak formed a group that came with him to raid a Russie-occupied village. Filak went as captain, while Orsis was the sniper, with Simonov as the carrier/machinegunner, Wesson, Heckler and Koch went as scouts. Sauer joined as Filak's group-mate. Jericho also joined as the combat medic. She said she is the most agile and skilled CM amongst the three, and Filak agreed.

They quietly sneaked up behind a building, and got in the open window, Orsis used binoculars to see where the enemies are.

"Well Orsis, what do you see?" Filak got in last, sitting near her.
"Well they are in the far end of the village, some walking around-- Wait what is that something shiny...?" 
"Shiny?"
"Why is it so shining right in my eye??"
"What-"

In a moment, a loud shot could be heard, and then some glass breaking, as Orsis recoiled back, screaming and holding her eye. Snipers.

"SHIT! THEY KNOW WE'RE HERE!"

Jericho quickly pulled Orsis in an isolated corner, administrating morphine, and tying her eye up with a bandage. They got away from the windows not to get spotted by snipers, Filak began shooting back as Simonov covered the door, Russie's rushed in with flashbangs, quickly slamming down the door and knocking out Simonov, as Sauer reacted and shot the 2 rushers with her Remington shotgun. Filak threw a smoke grenade out the window to cover a safe path out, helping everyone get out, but suddenly a Heavy Armored guy came in and began shooting out of something that looked like a DP-28. He immediately damaged Sauer heavily, whom Filak caught, and Jericho was hit on the back of her head while trying to shoot back with a pistol. Wesson tried to throw a grenade at the guy, but instead the grenade was a dud, and thus getting shot in the stomach three times, surrendering, Koch tried to save her but got shot in the helmet so much he got knocked out, luckily the bullet on the DP-28 were meant to disable and not kill. Heckler luckily got out, shouting "WE WILL COME BACK!" to the ones who got stuck in the house, quickly running to the second floor, as Heckler tried to save Sauer who has her eyes shut due to her weakness, and Filak covered the stairs, killing a few Russies, before hearing loud heavy reloading, and quickly grabbed Sauer on her back, as Heckler followed them down the bridge in between the two buildings. Glass shattered as a machinegunner outside was trying to shoot them down, and soldiers behind them shooting out of their underbarrel grenade launchers. 

"You have to get the fuck outta here or Stardust will collapse!"
"You're not staying here, Heckler! We're leaving all together! You have an M14 EBR, just shoot down the bridge and I'll watch the stairs!"
"Hell no, captain! They got grenades and we're fucked if they throw one in! Sauer can't die here... She's just too young!"
"Then what the fuck is your plan?!"
"I hold them of, you GTFO!"
"You fucking madman, no!"
"I SAID FUCKING GO!"
"F-Fucking.... Fine. I wish you luck..."
"Listen, no time to talk. Run. I'll come back with them."
Heckler turned around throwing a grenade down the stairs while shooting down the hall.

Filak grabbed Sauer quickly and jumped out of the second floor window, hurting his legs a bit, but successfully running in the foliage and hiding, he put her down carefully and began tying her wounds up.

Filak teared up a bit but kept his stern face. He heard heavily russie-accented "DROP YOUR WEAPON!" from the second floor, and them hitting him on the back, pulling them away, Sauer was already knocked out. She breathed at least.

"2 пидора в кусты сбежали! Гдето за станцыей!" (2 fags ran in the bushes! Somewhere behind the station!)

Filak knew he was fucked, so he quickly pulled her behind more bushes and put his medkits and morphine on her, for her to use when she woke up. While Filak peeked his M4A1 supressor out of the bushes, aimed out, and began landing headshots on those who tried to approach the bushes.

"Не подходите - и вы останитесь в живых!" (Don't approach me, and you'll live!)
"Что ты сказал, сука?!" (What the fuck did you just say?!)

The mad heavy began running up to him, as he began landing shots right on his armored helmet visor, making glass-dust in it, and blocking his view, also knocking him out due to the hard impact of the subsonic bullets he used. The sniper tried to shoot him, but Filak saw the shining scope reflection, turned quickly and shot that guy in the shoulder.

The commander ordered his men to retreat and get the people they neutralized, Filak threw a grenade which actually made them run, as he quickly moved behind the foliage where Sauer was hiding and treating herself, she woke up due to the yelling.

"C-Captain..."
"Lay down, you're gonna be ok."

Filak threw his gun on the ground, and began treating her, healing her wounds, as she was quietly sobbing due to the shock and the fast paced events that happened.

"Don't worry... we'll save them too..."
"I-I know, b-b-because we're Stardust...?"
"That's right... Get on my back, we're going back."

Filak sat down after helping her up, and she collapsed onto Filak's back, holding onto his vest like grips, she quietly rubbed her face in his neck, falling back asleep again.

Filak grabbed his gun and put it on his front sling, and went quietly off of the territory, carefully not to hurt Sauer anymore.
