Chapter 13

The two went into one of the many deserted rooms and locked the door.

"Shinso? What's this about?"

"Well..."

"Well what?"

"Midoriya. Tell me exactly what the hell you're doing in your free time, you're not just sitting around."

It wasn't a command. He wasn't using his quirk, like he probably should've.

"Shinso..."

"Look, dude, its obvious. I talked to Hatsume earlier, but she didn't want to tell me anything. What are you two doing?" 

"W- We aren't doing anything!"

"Sure you aren't. Well then, Midoriya, I'd just love to know how the fuck you're so much stronger all of a sudden. I get we haven't sparred since school started, but this is just crazy! There is no way in hell you should be that strong."

"I-"

"If you aren't gonna tell me, fine. I'll get it from Hatsume."

"Shinso! Wh- why are you acting like this? It's unlike you..."

"Like what?" 

"Like- like an overprotective parent or something! I told you we weren't doing anything together..." And then it hit him like a load of bricks. "Wait, Shinso... Don't tell me you're jealous that I spend more time with her than you?"

"What? No! Of course not! I'm just going to get to the bottom of this, I swear! I'll figure this out..." And Shinso ran out the door. Leaving Midoriya, once again. He's finding himself alone more and more often...

------------ time skip/teleport to supporting cast--------

"Hatsume!" Shinso gasped for breath. He'd run up three flights of stairs to find her.

"Oh, dude! You did great in your battle! If it was anyone else, I'm sure you would've won!"

"Thanks, but I need to ask you some questions..."

"Oh, okay! Speaking of, where's Midoriya?"

"Downstairs..."

"Ahh, alrighty! What'd you wanna talk about?"

"Can we talk somewhere... private? Preferably somewhere close, though."

"I'm sure there's somewhere close by!"

There wasn't. They walked for almost ten minutes, and luckily Hatsume's battle hadn't been called yet. When they did find a room, Shinso closed and locked the door. 

"Hatsume... Do you know how Midoriya got that strong?"

"What?"

"Like- we last fought like two months ago but now he's just so much stronger?"

"He probably worked out..."

"No, no! I've been doing that! I'm weak compared to him!"

"I thought you put up a good fight....."

"He was obviously holding back!"

"Shinso, please, do you really think he's hiding something?"

"Yes! And I know you know what it is!"

"Really?"

"Hh fine! Do you know what he's hiding? Like any sort of clue at all?"

"Well yes, but it's n-"

"Hatsume, please just tell me what you're hiding from me."

"Your quirk doesn't work that way, dummy! BUT because we're friends, I'll give you a hint! I expect you not to spill any of this! Alright?"

"Alright, fine."

"Okay! Well-"

What does Midoriya have to do with rabbits? Does he just play with them? Damn Hatsume and her stupid vague hints.

i wasnt gonna post this for another week or so bc of someones stupid comment telling me to work faster but yknow what i decided to just ignore them and be the bigger person here and do what i want anytime i want >:3
