Dad
This is for you, papa.
You lift me up and think of how I get further.
Mama said you're a blessing,
But I'all say 'Thank You' sir for all your caring.
May God strengthen you as you get older.
You're a blessing like no other, Like not another.
You've instilled in me, love and religion.
To strive hard in life with the fuel of education.***
Dad,
You're one in a million.
You alone think and plan and budget what we'll live on.
You're the ladder that leads my way,
The map that shows my way and the shoulder that holds my head.
I love you dad.
You're my hero,
My perfect gentleman.
The first man in my life that would never break my heart or my trust.
You scold and discipline me,
You made me number one.
Like the sky, you give me mixed feelings now that you're gone.***
