"Whatever the case, we need to get aboard Nero's ship undetected."
"We can't just go in there, guns blazing, Jim..." Bones starts. I tune out of the conversation and look at what Chekov's doing. I stand next to him at one of the two controls with a large, transparent screen.
"Alright, so Nero's going to travel past Saturn, right? Based on the Nerada's course from Vulcan."
He nods. "Exactly! If Mr. Scott can get us to warp factor 4, and, if we drop out of warp behind one of Saturn's moons, like..."
"Titan?" I suggest.
"Yes! Titan. If we drop out of warp behind that moon, then the magnetic-"
"Distortion from the planet's rings will make us invisible to Nero's sensors!" We say simultaneously.
"And from there, as long as the drill is not activated we can beam aboard the enemy's ship!" Chekov finishes excitedly. He pauses, then looks at me. "How did you know that?"
"I took AP Astrophysics in my first year at Starfleet." I say.
"Ah." He says, smiling.
"Well?" I say. "What are you waiting for? Go tell them!" I say, and push him towards Jim, Bones, Uhura, Sulu, and Mr. Scott, who are all huddled in a group.
"Captain Kirk! Captain Kirk!" Chekov says, tapping on Jim's shoulder.
"Yes, Mr. Chekov, what is it?" Jim asks, turning to him.
Chekov explains to them exactly what he explained to me.
"Aye that might work." Scotty says.
Bones hesitates for a moment. "Wait a minute, kid, how old are you?"
"Seventeen, sir."
"Oh, oh good he's seventeen." He says with no enthusiasm.
"Doctor," We hear Spock say. We turn and see him standing in front of one of the entrances to the bridge. "Mr. Chekov is correct. I can confirm his telemetry." He walks down towards us. "If Mr. Sulu is able to maneuver us into position I can beam aboard Nero's ship, steal back the black hole device, and if possible, bring back Captain Pike."
I step forward. "I won't let you do that, Mr. Spock."
He looks at me. "Romulans and Vulcans share a common ancestry. Our cultural similarities will make it easier for me to access the ship's computer to locate the device." He pauses. "Also my mother was human, which makes Earth the only home I have left."
"At least, I won't let you go alone." I say. "I'm coming with you."
"Me too." Jim says, stepping forward.
Spock looks at the both of us. "I would cite regulation but I know you will simply ignore it."
Jim smirks. "See? We are getting to know one another." He slaps Spock on the arm and walks away.
Spock looks back at him, raising an eyebrow, then looks at me, giving a questioning look.
"Hey, don't look at me, I didn't slap you on the arm." I say, and walk off in the same direction as Jim.
"You should stay here." I say. "I'll go with Spock, you stay here."
"What?" Jim looks at me. We're the only two people in the elevator. "Natasha, we've known each other since we were kids, I'm coming with you."
"Then what the hell is the point of having two captains of the same ship if they both go on the same mission? Shouldn't one stay and the other go?"
"Maybe that's not what Pike assigned us for." He says.
"Then why did he make us both captains?" I ask.
"I don't know." He says. "We'll ask him when we get him back."
The elevator stops and the doors open. We walk out of the elevator and into the transporter room, Uhura and Spock come in at the same time as us.
"How are we, Scotty?" Jim asks.
"So we're calling him Scotty now?" I ask.
"Well, it's easier and he likes it." Jim says.
I nod. "Okay."
Spock and Uhura continue ahead of us, Jim and I both stop next to Scotty, who sits at the controls.
"Unbelievably, sir, the ship is in position" Scotty answers him.
Jim presses a button on the controls. "Whatever happens, Mr. Sulu, if you think you have the tactical advantage, you fire on that ship even if we are still on board, that's an order."
"Yes sir." Sulu responds a moment later.
"Otherwise we'll contact the Enterprise when we're ready to be beamed back."
"Good luck." Sulu says.
Jim signs off of the comm and we walk onto the transporter, we step on our individual pads, then look over a moment later and confirm to ourselves that we actually did see Spock and Uhura kissing. Jim looks over at me with furrowed brows, I shrug my shoulders. He looks over at them again a second later, then looks back at me.
"So...do I get one too?" He asks quietly.
I roll my eyes. "In your dreams." I answer just as quietly.
"I will be back." I hear Spock quietly say to Uhura.
"You better be." She says. "I'll be monitoring youre frequency."
"Thank you, Nyota."
They kiss again, Uhura walks off, and I see Scotty stare at her as she goes.
"So her first name's Nyota?" Jim asks Spock a moment later.
"I have no comment on the matter." Spock answers automatically.
"Okie dokie then," Scotty speaks up a moment later. "If there's any common sense in the design of the enemy's ship, I should be putting you somewhere in the cargo bay. Shouldn't be a soul in sight." He nods a little.
"Energize." I say.

Hey guys!
So sorry I haven't updated a lot of my stories lately! My internet wasn't working for a few days :( I could only get on for a couple minutes a day and then it would shut off (I don't know why, it was really weird though)... :(
Anyways, I've updated! Yay :)
Just to let you all know, because I know some of you were wondering "wait she updates like five or more times a week and makes Wattpad spam my e-mail for all her updates, what's going on??"
A friend of mine actually said that, it was hilarious.
Anyways, I'm planning for my next update to be in a couple of days if the internet is actually back to normal *fingers crossed*.
:)
