Encounter

My Pov

I am constantly always late for school because my mom insists I eat breakfast at home (because school food is trash) but I always wake up late because I procrastinate to get up and so I never really have time to eat but anyways, as I'm on my way to school I run so fast that I didn't notice an older man standing a few feet ahead of me and I accidentally knock him over. I apologize and help him up, though he takes his time. "It's alright just watch out next time." He says to me. I nod and rush off yelling, "Be careful mister!!"

Once I get to class I am 10 minutes late and I quietly sit down in my seat next to this girl named Lila. She seems pretty cool though for some reason Marinette doesn't like her. 'Did I miss anything Lila?' I whisper to her. 'Nope! The teacher was just going over the things we learned yesterday.' 'OK. Thank you.' I say in a monotone voice and she gives me a slight smile then turns to her side. Something is off with this Lila girl but she's not bothering me so I'm fine. Then the most handsome guy I have ever seen walks into the room, Luka Couffaine. He has the most perfect blue hair and perfect matching blue eyes. He makes my heart flutter. I turn to look at Lila who is also fawning over him and then she looks at me and glares daggers when she notices me staring at him. I jump slightly startled by her expression. "(y/n) is there a problem back there? Why don't you sit up here next to Luka so you can pay attention better?" I do as the teacher says but internally I'm screaming because how can I focus if I am sitting next Luka???!! I blush as I sit down next to Luka, "Hey (y/n). Nice to see you." My face then burns bright red but I respond calmly, "Hey Luka. It's nice to see you too." I say feeling calmer. I can see from the corner of my eye Lila glaring daggers at me.

Soon all my classes are finished for the day and I am getting ready to go home when Lila walks over to me, "Watch your back miss Auclair (your last name for the sake of this story) Luka is mine and only mine so back off." Then she gets ready to strut off but I grab her wrist, "No, you watch it. No one owns Luka so mind your own business. I'm not afraid of you." I close my locker and walk away from her while she glares at my back.

Lila's Pov

'That little brat- she'll regret ever saying that.' I see an Akuma flying nearby so I decide to grab it and put in my earing, "Well hello there again Lila. Nice to see you. Tough love is the worse, especially when you have someone in the way. I am giving you the power to get rid of her as long as you give me the miraculous of Ladybug, Cat Noir and Serpent." "Yes Hawkmoth," I respond to him and start transforming into Lovemere.

My Pov

My mother is a famous artist and my father is a businessman so I don't see him often. My mother is very overprotective of me so I don't get to get out much, but my mom isn't as protective as Adrien's father. I don't have guards following me around everywhere. I may pay Adrien a visit right after my art class later on. We are very good friends since our parents are rich and my mother helps with Adrien's sets.

Eventually, I get home and head to my room and go to my desk to grab my binder when I suddenly notice a strange hexagon shaped-black and red box on my desk. What is this- I open the box and it is a bracelet and a ball of light flies around my face which startles me and then this weird-animal thing then appears and I throw the bracelet on my bed. "Hello, my name is Fang," I scream but no one is home to hear, classic. I move closer to the animal thing- "Wha-what are you?" I ask the strange creature. "I am a Kwami. If you say 'Fang, paws up!' then you will suit up." I look at him confused, "Suit up?? Do you mean like Ladybug, Cat Noir and Serpent?" "Precisely. Only a few rules, 1)No one can know about me and 2)no one can know that you are a miraculous." "Why not?" "It's too dangerous if anyone knows." I nod in understanding the importance of a secret identity. "By the way, do you have any food? I'm starving. I haven't had a master in a long time." "Oh, yeah, come on I'll take you to the kitchen." "Wait. You have to wear the bracelet at all times, don't let Hawkmoth get to it-or anyone for that matter." I nodded assuring him and put on the bracelet.

I grab Fang some cherries from the fridge which he eats happily. I turn on the news and see that someone has been Akumatized...Lovemere. "Listen, (y/n) you have to transform and help out! Once you activate the suit normal skills will enhance by a lot." I look at Fang concerned, "Wha-but I don't know what I'm doing!" "Trust me. You got this, plus you'll have back up. Ladybug and Cat Noir may be partners but Serpent doesn't have a crime-fighting partner, you could be his partner, he will help you and so can ladybug and cat noir." I take a deep breath and say....."Fang!, Paws Up!!" At that, I transform into an outfit in which I have 2 bamboo sticks with leaves on them on my back and I have leaf bombs hanging from the collar of my shirt-and a tail and of course I have a red and black mask. My outfit is red and black, I look like a red panda.

I jump out of my window and climb up the side of my house in order to get a better look. I don't see any villains when suddenly someone tackles me and jumps to the roof of the next building. "Go somewhere-" before he can finish the sentences he stares into my eyes. "Y-you're like me. A miraculous." I nod at him, "Do you mind....." I motion my head towards his body on mine. He had somehow positioned his body to be right on top of mine. I think I can see him blush slightly as he gets off of me and gives me a hand to get up. "You must be serpent..." He nods. "I'm new to this so I'm not exactly sure how I can help." "Well, later we'll have to give you an alias but for now just follow my lead. Ladybug and Cat Noir are nearby. Let's go!" I run behind him but I find him to be far faster than me so I decide to run on 'all fours' like cat noir and I find it easier to catch up with Serpent. We soon run to the park where we meet ladybug and cat noir facing off Lovemere.

At our arrival, everyone turns to face us. "Well well well, lookie hear you guys arrived at the perfect time." Cat Noir says. "Oh kitty, we don't have time to joke around. This is serious." Ladybug says. (While in the kitchen earlier Fang briefed me on what I could do with my abilities.) "I can attack from behind by camouflaging but I need you guys to distract her. "We gotcha covered little panda." Cat noir says. "Right m'lady?" Ladybug nods, "Right. Serpent, Kitty, follow my lead." While the rest attack Lovemere. I get in position, "Becloud!!" At that, the leaves form a covering around me and make me blend in with my surroundings. I get behind Lovemere and grab one of my bamboo sticks and hit the back of her legs which she loses her balance and ladybug wraps her in her yoyo, "Cataclysm!!" Cat Noir shouts out and destroys her earings. She then turns back to herself.....Lila. "Pound it!" We all pound our fist together. "Miraculous Ladybug!!!!" Ladybug shouts and everything goes back to normal.

Lila. I don't think it's her first time either. Anyways, after ladybug frees the Akuma we head behind a few buildings. "So, you're new to this whole superhero thing right??" Ladybug asks. "Y-yeah I am," I say shyly. Suddenly Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous's start beeping. "Oops, I would help you figure things out but I'm about to change back. I gotta go but I'm sure serpent wouldn't mind helping you out. Bug out! Nice meeting you!" She says as she swings away.

Serpent's Pov

When I first saw her I thought she was just a civilian on the rooftops but when I saw her closer up I just couldn't help but stare into her eyes. Something about her seems familiar- but either way, she was so beautiful even without being able to see her true identity. She really plucks the strings on my guitar. This is truly love at first sight. She also learns very quickly so it will be easier for her to get the hang of the superhero life. "I have to ask you.....what is your alias??" She contemplates on what her name should be but then says, "Sneaky Scarlet." "Well Sneaky Scarlet, it may be very difficult to balance your personal life with your superhero life but I know you will be able to do it. I trust you." She looks at me curiously with her beautiful (e/c) eyes, "How do you know I'll be able to balance everything?" I lean in closer attempting to kiss her but she backs away and blushes. "S-sorry." I back away and my miraculous starts beeping and so does hers. I gotta go now." I get ready to jump onto the building but she calls out to me, "Wait, how do you know I'll be able to be miraculous?" I smile at her, "Because I believe in you." Then I jump away.

My Pov

I jump from building to building until I get home and jump through my window. Just then my suit disappears and Fang appears. "I'm really hungry. Do you have any more cherries?" "Yeah, of course. Here you go, Fang." I grab him some cherries from the fridge and feed him some. At that moment my mom walks in and yells at me, "Your art teacher called and said you never showed up! Why weren't you there?" 'Crap, crap, crap!' I say in my head. I totally forgot about that! "I'm sorry I forgot about the art class today." "How can you forget?? You have that class every day??" "I'm sorry, I'm just dealing with a lot in school right now. I'm gonna go take a walk." "It's OK honey. Just remember I'm always here to talk. I love you." She gives me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. "I love you too mom." I hug her back. "See ya later, bye!"
